  • Beautiful roof top apartment

"We had a great week at this apartment. The apartment itself is cleverly put together to give you a great feeling of space. It uses it's roof top location to the full, thanks to the large number of windows and the large patio doors. It had everything we wanted and it was a lovely place to come back to relax after a day out exploring. We were well looked after by Umberto during our stay and the locality had everything we needed. The apartment was a great base to explore Capri, Ischia, Amalfi coast and of course Napoli. There is an underground station nearby which provides a quick link to Napoli Centrale (where you can catch the Circumvesuviana) and the port with boats to the island are a short bus ride or a 20 minute walk away. The local neighbourhood is pleasant and interesting whilst Napoli old town is a unique jumble of life all crammed together with it's own special charm. The sea front is just the other side of the park, which has great views out over the bay. The front is sea wall rather than beach and the park outside the apartment was being worked on whilst we were there, so we did not see this at it's best. If you have decided you want to visit Napoli, then I would thoroughly recommend this apartment."

  • Excellent apartment, just a few caveats.

"We stayed a week in this apartment in January 2014. Overall we were quite pleased with our choice, given the price. The unit is very modern, clean and spacious, and the outside balcony lovely. For us it was very convenient for spending time exploring historic Naples and making connections out of the train station and also at the port, to visit attractions including Pompeii, Capri, Ercolano and more. With the archeological museum just around the corner, it was easy to get taxis whenever we wanted, and there were good places to eat within walking distance. The wifi in the apartment worked very well, and I also really appreciated the large shower/bathroom with plenty of HOT WATER! Not always easy to find in Italy, and very welcome after a long day walking or after coming in from the chilly evening air. A few things I would caution or just mention to others: that 5th floor location (6th floor, actually, to us Americans) means a LOT of stairs to climb up a pretty grungy stairwell...we dreaded if we had to do it more than once a day for any reason, so if you have any mobility issues be forewarned. We were having problems with the toilet plumbing being extremely noisy, something we mentioned upon checking out, and also I couldn't get the TV to work properly. Additionally, the apartment was rather chilly in wintertime...the gas heaters in the main living room and bedroom are not meant to be kept on while sleeping. The location of the apartment is also a bit rough, and might not be for everyone...there is a large group of homeless people camped out across the street from the archeological museum nearby, a fair number of beggars, and a lot of drunk college-age kids hanging out every night at the nearby Piazza Bellini. Now, we didn't have any problems ourselves, but unless you're used to rougher city life you might find it a bit off-putting. I would stay here again, although my partner might not as he found the stairs every day a bit rough."

  • Completely charming apartment and host in Napoli

"An amazing place in a bustling part of Naples. The apartment was like magic and Paola our host was magic, very welcoming and full of ideas for our short but sweet stay. Loved the locality a little out of the centre but walkable and the terrace was like a little oasis! A unique and enjoyable stay."

  • a great apartment in a fun neighborhood

"We stayed in several apartments in Italy and this was our favorite. The layout was great -- big enough that you did not feel on top of each other, great kitchen, and two bathrooms. It was really easy communicating with and meeting up with the owner. He was quite personable and helpful with tips for places to go in the neighborhood. The neighborhood was also fantastic. Great food and bookstores. Easy walk to the waterfront and lovely farmer's market on Saturday. The metro is also quite close."

Napoli Travel Tips

Live Like a Local in Napoli Vacation Rentals

There is nothing worse than waking up in a stale hotel room where you have no space and no privacy. When you travel to Napoli, Italy, make sure to stay someplace that will give you the ultimate experience. There are Napoli vacation rentals located in the best parts of town. Live like a local instead of a tourist by finding Campania villas for your stay, and you will have a vacation you'll never forget. Do what the locals do and eat what the locals eat. If you want to live like a local, then spend some time walking in Carney Park or eating at Pizzeria Condurro. You will have a more culturally immersive vacation if you find Napoli accommodations that let you live like a local instead of a tourist.

Find Relaxation in Napoli

Visit Suio Thermal Baths if you are in Napoli between April and November. The spas will put you in a relaxing mood. You could also visit the sulphur springs in Pozzuoli a short distance from Napoli. Napoli has a lot of unique spas to make you feel pampered. Save money by staying in one of the many Compania villa rentals, so that you have more money to spend on relaxing Napoli accommodations.

Find a Napoli Vacation Rental near the Water

Some Napoli vacation rentals are a short walk away from the water. If you enjoy exploring beaches then you should visit Napoli Beach. Your family will have fun building sandcastles and getting some sun. If you plan on spending a lot of time on the beach, you should find a vacation rental that makes it easy to do so. Don’t spend all of your time traveling; instead, rent a Compania villa on the beach.
