  • Absolutely Fabulous!!

"I want to say thank you to Enrico and Corrado! Our trip to Rome was heightened thanks to them and the beautiful apartment we rented from them! Corrado is the one I worked with for the booking. He was great! I had to move my trip up by a day and he was completely flexible and accommodating! He also arranged transportation to and from Fiumicino for us. Our driver was so sweet! I only wish I had gotten his name! When we arrived at the property, Enrico met us at the van. He was very informative and helpful! He also ran up 5 flights of stairs so that I could take the lift with my luggage! What a great guy!! The location of the apartment was perfect! We were less than 10 minutes walking distance to St. Peter's and the view of the dome from our terrace was something I could get used to! The apartment itself was outstanding! The beds were very comfortable, as were the couches. I honestly have no complaints about anything! Enrico and Corrado were such a pleasure to do business with! I hope I'll be able to rent this property again on my next trip to Rome! Grazie Mille!!!"

  • Incredible Location

"If you want to stay in the historic center, this is THE location. It's one block away from Piazza Navona, where all day and night long everyone, tourists and locals alike, hang out and stroll around. The street the apartment is on is very happening, with many restaurants and shops to choose from. The living room window opens to the street so you can have some excellent people watching and wine drinking from the comfort of the apartment. The apartment was very clean, the bedroom bed comfortable, and the kitchenette adequate for making small meals. Although the apartment is on a busy street and people are out at all hours, the bedroom window opens up to the apartment courtyard which is quiet and peaceful. The owner is easy to get in touch with, and waited for us almost an hour to show up to let us in the apartment as we were late due to trying to make sense of Rome's bus system! Speaking of buses, the apartment is right next to a major bus stop on Corso Victorio Emmanuele, so it's easy to get wherever you want to go (once you figure out the Roman transportation system, of course). Two things to keep in mind about this apartment- one, the bathrooms are downstairs from the living and bedroom areas. For me normally this wouldn't be an issue, but being eight months pregnant it was difficult to walk up and down the narrow stairs several times every night, so keep that in mind for elderly or disabled guests. Two, there is no WiFi. You can't even "borrow" from neighbors or businesses. The listing states both of these, but just be aware in case either of these points are important to you. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay here very much, and were sorry to leave."

  • Best location I could imagine

"The location in Trastavere couldn't be better -- the neighborhood is wonderful and the apartment is situated away from the noisy tourist/party crowds but within easy walking distance to great restaurants and stores. It's also easy to walk to most of the major sites in central Rome. The apartment itself is well renovated and comfortable with two bedrooms and two bathrooms located on separate levels. There's one main room with a kitchen area that has updated appliances (including dishwasher) and all the things you'll need for simple meals. The real star is the terrace, which is huge, well equipped, filled with well-tended plants and set among beautiful rooftops. The owner was a joy to work with, doing everything he could to make our stay comfortable and easy. Best of all was the time he took to walk us around the entire neighborhood, pointing out the best bakeries, pizzerias and restaurants as well as offering useful tips on public transportation and things to do. He's also just a nice guy."
