"We really enjoyed our stay in Rome and a lot of it was due to the apartment. Being close to the Spanish Steps and the metro line there was helpful. We explored much of the city by taking the metro to our destination and then walking back to the apartment. The family room was great to unwind after a busy day and we enjoyed shopping and cooking meals. We had some initial problems with the WiFi but those were worked through and the connectivity was convenient. If we return to Rome, we'll seek this apartment out again. Grazie!"

"Right from the start we were welcomed by Natalia & Walter, who gave us all kinds of excellent information on the apartment, the location, restaurants, things to do and places to see. We have rented many homes in different locations and they were the best hosts we have encountered. They gave us a cell phone to use and made arrangements for a car to get to the airport. They were very gracious.
The location is perfect and there are restaurants, markets and the bus/metro stations within walking distance. The Colosseum is within a couple blocks, and just beyond that, Piazza Venezia is a short walk, with many restaurants and shops nearby. In the other direction, Basilica di San Giovanni is a short walk, and more restaurants and shops as well. Exploring the city is very easy from this location.
The apartment included everything you needed. The 2 bathrooms had showers, but they were a little small. The kitchen had everything you needed. We bought a few items for breakfast and ate out the rest of the time, at the places recommended by Natalia & Walter. They were all great. Even though the apartment is on a busy street, when the windows were closed, you couldn't hear a thing. I actually liked keeping the windows open and hearing all the sounds! There was air conditioning, but we didn't really need it. It was very comfortable.
It was a pleasure to be able to go to our "home away from home" after a long day of walking and being tourists. When we were really tired, we just took the metro back to the San di Giovanni station and had a short walk back, always stopping for a coffee before we got home!
I highly recommend staying here and would absolutely stay there again if we were ever in Rome again.
Natalia & Walter - you made our stay most enjoyable, and we want to thank you again for all you did for us."

"My stay at the cottage was a delight. The cottage was very well equipped and was home as I walked in the door. Tosi made a delicious breakfast with homemade bread, fresh eggs from the chicken coop with fresh fruit and marmalades from the orchard. I participated on harvesting fruit and transforming it into marmalades and took a cooking class and learned how to make Italian pasta. The lake of Bracciano was a 10 min scenic drive through the countryside for swimming. We took a boat tour of the lake visiting Anguillara and Trevignano and drank prosecco on the back of the boat. The highlight of our trip was taking walks through the garden with an array of flowering colors that lined the pathways. We already booked for this coming fall before she is booked up to enjoy another retreat that leaves you spiritually happy. Thank you Tosi for the wonderful hospitality."
