  • IDEAL LOCATION

"This is a lovely and spacious apartment in a fantastic location: a 16th-century building right next door to Trajan's Forum and 5 minutes walk from the Colosseum. My 4-person family felt like we were at home there for our week's stay. We had everything we needed for our comfort plus a great extra bonus: hundreds of books, mostly in Italian but some in English, including Rome guidebooks. WIFI worked consistently throughout the apartment. Enzo was extremely helpful throughout the booking process. I would highly recommend this listing. Two notes: (1) only the bedrooms have air conditioners; there's a fan in the main living area. (2) we were told on arrival that we were not to use the washer/dryer."

  • Villa Accetta

"I had written a review when we got home from our trip but posted it on the wrong site and just noticed it. This was our first stop in Italy in 2012 and when Kiki opened the door to the patio area, we were thrilled. What a lovely area to sit by the ocean. The apartment itself was well supplied and comfortable but we spent most of our time there on the patio. Kiki was the nicest and most helpful hostess of our rental owners. I truly enjoyed her company and willingness to help us. We stayed in 3 vrbo places and this was by far the best. Thanks so much, Kiki! Ray, Deb and friend Dave"

  • Lovely apartment in the heart of Rome

"We loved this place. It was our first time in this amazing city, and we felt totally immersed in the beauty, culture, history and life of Rome. This apartment was integral to our experience. Highly recommended if you want to enjoy Rome at its best. And a big bonus was Barbara, the owner, and her friend Stefanie. They both went above and beyond to ensure that we had a wonderful time. Bottled water, juice, teas, coffee and snacks were provided in the apartment, along with all kinds of information, maps and books. In addition, they were very helpful in providing directions to the apartment and advice for getting into Rome, and they arranged a ride to the airport for us at a very reasonable price. We definitely will be back."

  • Close to the vatican

"We arrived by train and Corrado had a driver waiting for us. We hoped into his minivan and off we went. It was hot and we appreciated the AC and the driver who was very friendly and helpful. We pulled up to the apartment building and we greeted by a lady and Corado`s mother who has the until next door on the top floor. The elevator fits 1 person and 1 bag but got us to our home for the next 4 days. The apartment was small but all we needed. Two showers and 2 bedrooms with a wrap around balcony and the most beautiful view of St Peter`s Basilica. Wow! The unit is 5 minutes from the Vatican. The downside is that the apartment is just outside of walking distance from the sites but after 2 weeks of walking we were quite happy talking cabs around. The apartment cooled off while were out sightseeing and was nice to come home to each night. The kitchen had everything we needed to grab a coffee (not really a tea kind of place) and a snack but would not expect to be cooking as it really is better suited to a bachelor. Didn`t bother us as we were out enjoying the roman cuisine. Trastevere was great for evening festivities and we would recommend the apartment to 2 couples or a family of 4."
