  • Family Trip To Rome

"Apartment was clean, well equipped, and as described. The neighborhood seemed fairly well kept by Rome standards with areas moving north towards Termini definitely more dirty. But in the other direction, tree-lined Via Merulana was great for walking and provided plenty of restaurants for dining at night, shops and a full grocery store. Transportation to and from the sites was fairly easy with a combination of walking, metro and bus service getting you just about everywhere. For our family of four (kids 8 & 9) this was a good, well maintained, and economical choice."

  • Beyond Expectations!!!

"We are a couple who came to Rome for a week, we really loved our stay in this house. It's the perfect location to stay in Rome (walking distance to Vatican!!!), the area is pretty safe and quite but still with shops (you have a bio shop just down the road:))), nice restaurants ect... When we arrived, we were greeted by Daniele, a very approachable and friendly person that took time to explain to us all we had to know about the apartment and the surroundings. The flat was lovely, comfortable and had all we needed (even a bath with hydromassage), very spacious (2 big rooms 1 with shower and toilet and a huge living room with plasma tv), the internet worked really well and sky tv with lots of English channels. If we come back to Rome, we will definitely come in here, we really felt home away from home. Ines & Cris"

  • Comfortable stay

"We enjoyed our 7 day stay at Leonardo's apartment. The photos in the description accurately show the apartment's appearance. The apartment itself was comfortable and clean. There was a bag of coffee in the fridge which was very much appreciated by my husband. The washing machine worked fine. Wifi went out once for about an hour, but other than that, was good. We did walk to the Carrefour for groceries (about a 10 minute walk). There is a nice bakery 1 block away (on the back side) which had delicious pizza and breads. Also next door to this was a convenient wine store. We preferred the restaurants in the Trastevere part of town to the ones around the Vatican as they were less touristy (a 20-30 minute walk vs 8-10 mins for the ones in/near the Vatican). To get to the center of Rome, you can walk, take the bus or a cab. Walking does involve going through a car tunnel which is not very picturesque. Leonardo did arrange a car to take us to the airport upon departure. One hiccup was the driver tried to charge us more than the agreed upon price. Overall, I would recommend this apartment and think it is good value for money."

  • Lovely Flat in an Amazing Location

"This flat is a perfect base for exploring the main sights of Rome, and inside it's a quiet, cool refuge from the busy streets. Just 2 minutes walk from the Piazza Navona, there are loads of great wine bars, cafes and trattorias on the street itself, and especially in the small square at the bottom. St Peter's and the Castel Sant'Angelo are just down the road, while the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps are within close walking distance. Inside, there is a spacious dining area, a lovely, modern bathroom with walk-in shower, and a cosy living room with bed settee. There is also a quiet bedroom with a double bed and plenty of storage space. You'll want to spend most of the time exploring this fabulous city, but when you do want some peace and quiet, you can visit the nearby supermarket for some wine, meats and cheese, take it back to the flat and spend an hour or two relaxing!"
