  • The Best Place to stay in Roma

"I have had occasion to stay in two of the Arnaldi family properties this year and I am always delighted. This was my second stay in this apartment and it was even better this time as the owner tastefully renovated the bathroom ( plenty of hot water). The neighborhood is an authentic family oriented area. I saw many grandparents pushing baby carriages and of course they were beautifully dressed. The location near the train station, buses and Piazza della Repubblica is incredibly convenient. It is a short walk to all the famous Roman sights and a relief to return to the quiet and safety of the apartment after a day of touring; to a glass of wine on the terrace and it's garden plants. The area is rife with restaurants, trattorias and bars. There are also many artisanal food stores to buy cheese, and wine and ready made takeout Italian style. And the brothers Niccolo and Stefano are very attentive to their clients and know a lot of the history of the area. They are the best owners to deal with. The apartment is beautifully appointed and with the large window and doors to the terrace is full of light. The bed must be new as it is firm and comfortable. Also provided in the adorable kitchen are some spices and herbs and plenty of good pots if you wish to cook.I intend to return again next year and as the Italian language school is a 20 minute walk, to learn this beautiful language. Returning to a hotel lobby with a beautiful elevator to the top floor is a great bonus."

  • Great apartment in the heart of Rome

"My husband, daughter and I stayed here for four nights. Antonella was lovely to work with, spoke to our taxi driver from the airport to make sure he got us to the right location, showed us the ins and outs of the apartment and answered all our questions. The washing machine was great to have so we didn't have to pack too much and the extra half bath was wonderfully convenient. We absolutely loved the outdoor terrace. It is two stories, filled with plants, and you could throw a stone and hit the Pantheon from it. We spent every night with a glass of wine there, and we hung our clothes there and they dried in no time in the Italian heat. It is small and yes the bathroom shower is really tiny, but that's normal for Rome and it was perfect for us. Miscellena restaurant is right outside and there are lots of great restaurants within a block or two. There is a taxi stand right outside, next to the Pantheon, so we didn't have to drag our luggage at all when it was time to leave. We walked everywhere we went and found this location to be a perfect base. There is a piazza in front of the Pantheon that's hopping on weekend nights with live music, vendors, etc. Lots of fun. All in all, I highly recommend this apartment. Thank you Antonella!"

  • Perfect Location and Beautiful, too

"I highly recommend this apartment. This is the perfect location for exploring Rome. It is close enough to the Piazza Navona to be able to get a taxi or take public transport, but not overly noisy or overrun. You can walk to St. Peters, the Pantheon and many other sights. The neighborhood is lively and has everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. You should know, however, that there are many stairs to enter and no lift. This was not a problem for us at all, as we always pack lightly and are spry but might be a concern to others."

  • Great spot and a great host!

"#4 is located in an awesome little neighborhood. The tiny street out front is about as old school Europe as you can get. The amount of restaurants and taverns nearby make an evening out an easy walk home. Alessio is as perfect a host as you could ask for. We had serious issues with a canceled flight that left one of our party a bit stranded in the Rome airport. Alessio got ahold of our friend, made sure he was settled into the apartment. With that help he ended up having a great day by himself wandering Rome. Which also helped make him our unofficial tour guide. When we return to Rome I can't imagine staying anywhere else. One tip, #4 means 4th floor. We figured it helped us work off a bit of the food we'd been eating, but if stairs are an issue for you, consider that there are 4 floors, then and other 2 flights to get to the best deck in Trastevere. Any walk up to the deck is worth it though!"
