"We were in Rome for 5 nights with our two children (4 and 6). We wanted an apartment that had comfortable sleeping arrangements for us and our kids, and that was also in a great location. This apartment was perfect for us.
The location cannot be beat. It's surrounded by many restaurants including several that are right outside the door. You are also in walking distance to many major sites.
The apartment is exactly as described/pictured above, and was clean and perfectly equipped for a short stay. The ground floor has a simple sitting area and small kitchen. The upper level is much larger with two large bedrooms. The second bedroom with two beds was great for our kids and sits back from the street so it was very quiet. The master bedroom sits over the street. There were double windows along the street side, however we could still hear some noise from the restaurants at night. We found sleeping with the fan on worked to drown out the noise.
One thing to note: The stone staircase is very steep. We were a bit nervous with our kids going up and down, but they didn't have an issue."

"The Antiqua House was in a perfect location for walking to most of the popular sights in Rome. And a quick bus ride (free if one buys the Roma Pass). The apartment was well equipped, clean and comfortable. Although only 3 of us stayed there, it would easily house 6. We also enjoyed a wonderful Italian meal by Emanuele and Alessandro. Great conversation and got to help make a few recipes we could take home to try. Best tiramisu we've had! Also nice that Emanuele organized a car to pick us up for airport very early for our return home."

"i have been traveling to rome for some 25 years ...staying in beautiful hotels..however, having one's "own" apartment is simply the best. "the familia siragusa" could not have been more kind or more responsive to any request..the location is perfect for walking to all the wonders of this beguiling city...yet, the street is quiet, "neighborly", the apartment is well equipped, well-kept, and very comfortable...with a sweet little balcony to enjoy a glass of wine(or two) in the evening.. a most perfect "home"."
