Everything was perfect!
"Can't say enough about this apartment. Its location, space, lay out, and ambiance were perfect. Its noisy, even with the window closed, being on Via Nazional but we have custom made ear plugs and so we could block out the traffic noise at night. We never did meet Fabio but Michael greeted us and gave us a informative orientation to Rome. Thank you MIchael"

Wonderful apartment in a perfect historic location
"My Italian-born wife, Giovanna, and I stayed at Francesca's lovely and comfortable apartment for two weeks in late April - early May. The apartment's location is perfect. All we needed was just steps away, including some of the very best pizza and gelato in the city. The well-stocked supermarket - - a labyrinth of staples, cheeses, meats, deli, and fish -- is practically next door, along with many delightful trattorias, wine bars, and regular "bars" (cafes). The apartment is in the back of the historic palazzo and very quiet despite being in the middle of a lively neighborhood. It is an easy walk to many of Rome's most marvelous ancient and not-so-ancient places. The apartment was a sanctuary at the end of long, remarkable days. Francesca and her local folks were an absolute pleasure We will be back !!!"

"You two are wonderful peoples, thanks for all your tips and personal attention! I will say that we were disappointed with the size of the apartment. Looking at the pictures it looked much bigger. We told everyone that you must be masters of wide angle photography. Based on the size of the 2nd bath, we all had to use the bigger one for at least showers. I thought I saw that you advertised it to be 55 square meters. I think that is impossible. Other than that we were able to make everything work well despite the size, It is very clean, well stocked, and I'm sure, very European. We didn't spend that much time there so I don't wish to exaggerate the effect of the size. I would caution other American visitors, who are 4 adults, to be aware of the limitations. But for a family it would likely work very well. I also have no good idea of how it compares. It occurred to us that in a big city like Rome it may be pretty standard. I am a business owner and greatly appreciate customer feedback. That is why I may be a little blunt. Again, we have so many great memories of your country and of you, we mainly want to say "thank you"."

"This is a wonderful little apartment in the heart of Rome, where the streets are narrow, and the atmosphere is electric. Most of the major tourist sites are within 20-30 minute walking distance, including the Vatican, Coliseum, Pantheon, Church of San Luigi dei Francesi (a must see for the three Caravaggio’s), and Trevi Fountain. The best part is that you feel like you have moved into the city. A wonderful restaurant Mimi e Coco is just outside the front door. And, a few short steps down the street is Frigidarium, the best gelato we had in Italy, and for just 2 Euros for a small cone (which is plenty). The taxi stand is just a short walk down the street, and we did take a taxi from the airport to our front door for about 50 Euros. Plus, given that you have an apartment, it was easy to eat and cook at the apartment because a Carrefour Express supermarket is also a short walk down the street. In the evenings, Piazza Navarro around the corner was filled with entertainers. Yet, despite all of the activity surrounding us, the apartment was completely quiet. Before our trip the property manager Alessandro was quick to respond to our emails with any questions. And, upon our arrival Domitilla met us with the keys, and visited with us a while to share helpful directions and ideas. The only thing that was not perfect was the bed, which had a harder futon-style mattress. We were not used to this and it did leave us a bit stiff in the mornings. Also, take note that the bed is upstairs in a loft, so be careful not to sleep walk."
