"We were met at the apartment by the owner. She was happy to accommodate us as we had to bring our rental car back to Fiumocino so had to change the meeting to an hour earlier on a Sunday.
We walked into a very well organized and clean apartment. The bed was so comfortable, the kitchen had everything one would need to cook even a dishwasher. I emailed Elisa the next day asking where she shopped and found out that just a few blocks away there was a daily market until 2 o'clock and also stores and 2 small supermarkets.
There are locking windows that soundproof very well although the street is quiet. She even has screens which are not usual in Italy.
The bathroom has storage for your "stuff" so it was easy to keep it looking neat. We loved the washing machine in the bathroom. It is such a convenience. It is 4 steps down into the apartment so no flights of stairs.
We stayed 3 weeks but I could have stayed longer. Elisa is thoughtful ( she has all sorts of electrical plugs for many countries) she also offered to print out our airline boarding passes and gave us recommendations for car services from her place to the airport. She also printed out that voucher.
Trastevere is a wonderful part of Rome. There are 3 museums so close by and one is even open on Monday! The apartment is near bus and trams. Very convenient and easy to get around. It's close enough to the Forum and that area in central Rome to walk to. If you walk about 2 or 3 blocks there are restaurants, cafes, bars, and they are wonderful. These restaurateurs cater to locals and they want repeat customers.
I would go back in a heartbeat. Oh, any question I had, I just emailed Elisa and she responded very quickly. So easy to stay there."

"On a family trip to Rome, seven of us spent three nights in Silvio's apartments, which are in a fabulous location 2 mins from Campo dei Fiori. The apartments were just as we expected from the information provided in advance, clean and tidy with no frills.
Silvio could not have been more helpful from arranging airport transfers to booking a local restaurant for us on our first night.
When we come back to Rome in 2017, we shall definitely try to stay here again - great value for money in a superb location."
