  • Fantasy Fulfilled

"We just returned from our trip of a lifetime, enhanced by our stay in a truly magnificent apartment. While the photos on Italy Perfect's website led us to the apartment Magnifico, it was absolutely breathtaking in person. when we walked onto the terrace and saw the Coliseum and surroundings, we literally gasped. Breakfasts and late afternoon wine and cheese on the terrace were super peaceful and romantic. The apartment itself was beautiful and comfortable. There was a cozy tv room that had our favorite American news station broadcasted in English so that we could keep up with world events. The bed was extremely comfortable and on the cooler nights we opened the bedroom door to the terrace while we slept. We found a gourmet market on Via Cavour and stocked up on bread, cheese, breakfast items and coffee and made daily use of the American coffee maker-thank you! All in all, a perfect stay and the accessibility of Pat and the Italy Perfect staff and greeter, Consuelo, insured that we were in extremely good hands at all times. Gratzie!"

  • Loved the location, but we had some issues

"I stayed at this property with my husband and three kids (age 15, 13, and 10) for four nights. Our trip did not go smoothly but I do recommend this place. The location was just about perfect. I can still remember the views and scents from the front window. I'd like to list the positives and negatives. POSITIVES 1. Quiet street near the Forum. It's easy to walk everywhere! 2. Plenty of space for my family of five 3. Good AC 4. Comfortable beds 5. Two TVs 6. Wifi 7. A moka coffee maker (including a tutorial by Enzo!) 8. An amazing old building with good security 9. Airport pickup service 10. Helpful owner who answers emails promptly NEGATIVES 1. No mention of city taxes in initial emails. Needed to know exact amount due to language barrier. 2. No hot water (at all) one day. We took cold showers. 3. No water pressure (at all) the next day. We were unable to use the shower or sink. 4. Bathroom much worse than the photos. Small, dirty, and smelly. 5. Couldn't get washing machine to work despite several attempts So the negatives were a bit distracting for me as it was very hot in Rome and we had been traveling for a week already. We really needed showers and clean laundry! For a couple days, we felt like we were camping indoors rather than staying at an apartment. The owner is very nice and tried to help us resolve each issue. I feel confident that she will address the problems for future travelers."

  • Cozy and convenient

"Everything we needed was provided in this charming studio/one bedroom apartment. We loved the light and even the doors to a little balcony overlooking the garden. This sort of airy lightness is very unusual in the city. The bed was super comfortable and while small, the apartment was comfortable. We even entertained another couple one night for a glass of wine before going out. The location is close to everything and it is quiet at night! The apartment has several level changes from bedroom to kitchen and bathroom which renters need to be aware of. If anyone walks at night, it could be a problem, although it was not for us. We will stay here again on our next visit to Rome!"

  • Lovely studio with a great view for a perfect Rome vacation

"My daughter and I had a great time staying at this studio. We were welcomed by Alessandro and were so happy to see that the studio was indeed as good as it looked in the pictures: bright, clean and cozy, and it had that beautiful view of the Colosseum from the terrace and the kitchen. We were provided with water, milk, butter, bread, jelly, and coffee for our morning espresso! We were happy to be right across from the Colosseum, the Roman Forum and Palatine sites, which were our first scheduled visits. The information Alessandro provided us made it easy for us to plan our first week in Rome. The cell phone he provided for any local phone calls we had to make was indeed very useful for getting our tours organized. As we familiarized ourselves with the neighborhood, we found our favorite restaurant just around the corner, Li Rioni, and could also run up to any of the supermarkets or street fruit and vegetables booths when we wanted to cook our meals. Alessandro was also kind enough to arrange for our airport pickup at the beginning of our trip and drop off at the end. All these were the reasons that made our first Rome vacation so enjoyable! Thank you Alessandro!"
