  • simply the best

"we stayed at mok'house for the second year in a row over Christmas - it was fantastic as our last stay. the apartment is great - exactly as described in the listing and very spacious for our family of 4 with 2 teenage boys - and we love the Monti neighborhood (not touristy but close to the things we wanted to do). but what really sets this place apart is all the little things the mok'house team does. we've stayed 4 other places (1 in rome & the others in other European cities) and mok'house has the attention to detail that makes the difference between staying at a good apartment and having a great trip. from the onsite manager (who helped us track down a package of Christmas presents from the delivery company) to the notebook filled with all the details you need to really enjoy your stay (where are the 3 closest grocery stores, etc.) to the fully stocked kitchen, they really do a great job. when we visit Rome next time, we'll be staying here again."

  • Great apartment

"We were in love with this place the minute we arrived! It was so cute and located in a great spot. Andrea was an excellent host! He sat down with us and showed us on the map, how to plan out where we had wanted to go. We told him what we had in mind and he helped guide us. The map that he provides is perfect, as it has all of his recommendations on it. We tried the pastry place he recommended, clearly the locals choice too, as it was hopping. We also tried two of his restaurant suggestions and we were not disappointed. The apartment was excellent for the four of us and our kids ages 14 and 12 loved it. We had a view of the Coliseum from the window. There is a great patio area to sit and have a glass of wine. The neighborhood is very quiet even though the apartment is on a Main Street. The Green Apartments will be our choice for our next visit to Rome. Hopefully we can stay longer next time."

  • Great find / Great location

"Bordering the Forum and the Monti district, and just a short 10-minute walk from the Colosseum, Enzo's apartment is in an ideal location. It's as advertised, or better, and my wife and two teenagers loved it and we had a fantastic time. We walked everywhere, even to Travestere and the Vatican, although those are serious walks. However, the Forum borders the building, and it almost seems like the building itself was a part of the Forum. There is a charming elevator, and a quaint breakfast place immediately next door. Enzo is very communicative, and makes everything abundantly clear. I felt it was a fair price. Much better and economical than Rome hotels, if you ask me. I'd stay there again. Two pieces of advice: get a private tour to the Villa Borghese, and get the ravioli at Glass Hosteria (to die for!)."

  • Loved it!

"This is a lovely one bedroom apartment in a residential area of Rome, just a block from the river and a short bus ride to the Colosseum and all the major historical sites. I loved having my coffee sitting at the table with the windows open on the courtyard. Everything looks as if it has been recently painted and updated. The beds are comfortable and the bath is clean and well appointed. The kitchen has everything you need except the groceries and there are stores just down the street for that. There are plenty of restaurants nearby if you don't want to cook. Would definitely stay here again if I ever get to return to Rome."
