"You two are wonderful peoples, thanks for all your tips and personal attention! I will say that we were disappointed with the size of the apartment. Looking at the pictures it looked much bigger. We told everyone that you must be masters of wide angle photography. Based on the size of the 2nd bath, we all had to use the bigger one for at least showers. I thought I saw that you advertised it to be 55 square meters. I think that is impossible. Other than that we were able to make everything work well despite the size, It is very clean, well stocked, and I'm sure, very European. We didn't spend that much time there so I don't wish to exaggerate the effect of the size. I would caution other American visitors, who are 4 adults, to be aware of the limitations. But for a family it would likely work very well. I also have no good idea of how it compares. It occurred to us that in a big city like Rome it may be pretty standard. I am a business owner and greatly appreciate customer feedback. That is why I may be a little blunt. Again, we have so many great memories of your country and of you, we mainly want to say "thank you"."

"My partner and I stayed in Alessandro’s apartment near the Colosseo for twelve days last September and we were so pleased that we returned for our five days in Rome this October. The apartment was as impressive the second time as it was the first. The view from the balcony and every room in the apartment is amazing. I can never believe that I’m looking out and seeing the Colosseo so close and the dome of Saint Peter’s in the distance. Ancient Rome has always fascinated me and we love staying in this amazing and historic neighborhood. The apartment is small but certainly large enough to be comfortable - staying there makes us feel that we are living as the Romans do. We loved sitting on the balcony in the evenings enjoying a drink and watching the vibrant Roman street life. Happily, the elevator has worked perfectly on each of our two visits and we appreciated the air conditioning that makes guests comfortable and cool on warm Roman nights. Alessandro’s charming and well-equipped apartment offers great value for the money. I cannot recommend this apartment too highly – it is a true gem. We hope to stay there again on a future visit to Rome. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else in this fascinating and historic city – Alessandro’s apartment says Rome to us."

"This apartment was spacious and an excellent value. We stayed five nights and would recommend it. The location is right across the street from the Colosseum with an excellent view of the Colosseum from the master bedroom, dining room and living/3rd bedroom. It's a half-block from the Metro, an easy walk to groceries. The furnishings are nice and traditional for those that went to Rome to see history rather than modern. It slept 4 comfortably and could have slept more. There are no buildings opposite it, so it is fairly private. The kitchen was small but allowed us to avoid eating out for breakfasts and most dinners. Having it as a home base made Rome feel manageable. You could hear the nightclub below the master bedroom, but it didn't prevent anyone from sleeping. The WiFi worked well, and the laundry was helpful."

"We spent a week at this majestic property and absolutely loved it. We were sold on the view of the Coliseum from the terrace but there is a bonus view from the other side of Capitoline Hill at night. The location is perfect - a half block to the metro plus you can walk most anywhere to the main sights. A night walk down the Via Fori Imperiali all lit up is a romantic way to end the day."
