  • Wonderful home in Rome

"Marida was so helpful throughout the reservation process as well as when she met us when we arrived near the loft. The loft was wonderful! It is air conditioned, open, spacious, CLEAN, modern and welcoming. Wi-fi worked quite well. The full kitchen came in handy as our family of six cooked in it numerous times during our stay. Everything was very organized and neat in the apartment; plenty of all the supplies we needed--towels, soap, spices, laundry detergents, etc. When we wanted to make the sofa bed back into a couch, Marida answered my email quickly letting us know where the cushions were stored. The terrace is fantastic! Great place to relax in the evenings with the family. Location was good. There was a grocery store quite close. We stayed in three apartments while on our vacation in Italy and this was my family's favorite. The photos and description on this website accurately portray this apartment. I would highly recommend this loft to our family and friends."

  • Excellent Location and perfect accomodation!

"First trip to Italy for my husband and I traveling from LA. The trip consisted of 4 days in Rome, then train to 2 days Florence, followed by train 2 days Venice, and back to Rome to return to LA -- very hectic. Being busy professionals we had little time to truly plan ahead with the knowledge to understand exactly what we were going to be seeing and the significance. One thing we did do ahead of time was to pick the condo in Rome as we know how important this is otherwise you risk not finding a good rental. We are VRBO owners ourselves of a small condo in the Caribbean and enjoy staying at condos vs. hotels and understand the business from an owner's perspective. We picked Walter's and Natalia's place based on the many excellent reviews not necessarily based on location given as a "newbie" maps don't mean anything when stranger to the location. I have to say we definitely made the right choice. Everything written on other reviews about Walter and Natalia as hosts is true -- they go above and beyond to ensure you have everything you need and give you a good "lay of the land". The condo is perfect and comfortable with all you need. Natalia provides signage all over with all pertinent information you could possibly need, even emergency and hospital numbers. In terms of location, walking distance to everything plus the neighborhood kind of bohemian with many boutiques and excellent restaurants just steps away. The Cavour metro station is also steps away with a quick connection to Termini station where you can go either direction for the many sights to see in Rome -- we used it every day! Thank you Walter and Natalia for a wonderful "base point" in Rome for all of our touring! Sonia and Felix, CA."

  • Love to Travel

"This is the perfect apt for Rome. Centrally located, perfect size, comfortable bed, lovely bath, I can't say enough good things about it. I even loved the armoire with lots of hangers and great drawers. It's tucked around the corner from fun shops and great restaurants, with a view, once you ventur out, of the Colosseum down one street and the Forum down the other. Our landlords were lovely & helpful. I highly recommend this to anyone."

  • Rome getaway...

"We recently had the pleasure of staying at Roman Forum Palace studio apartment in Monti Rome. Alessio met us at the apartment as scheduled. Alessio and his family own the entire building which contains several apartments . The pride that he and his family have in the building is evidenced by the excellent condition in which it has been kept. Upon arrival Alessio was quite helpful with information about the neighborhood and local shops ,restaurants and sights. We cant say enough about how caring and helpful Alessio is to his clients. The apartment we stayed in is updated ,nicely decorated and contained all necessary kitchen items .The sleeping area is a secluded nook in the apt with a firm comfortable bed. The bathroom was large , bright and airy. The apartment had a brand new A/C system that operated quite well. The location is fabulous. Its located about 20 meters from the intersection of Via Leonidas and Via Serpenti which is only several minutes walking distance to the Ancient City and quite walkable to Trestavere , Campo Fiore ,Piazza Navonna and The Vatican. The evening gatherings at Piazza Madonna dei Monti are quite enjoyable. Local residents and visitors all gravitate here to enjoy the atmosphere of a Rome working class neighborhood. You can purchase Beer or Wine from the nearby shops and sit on the fountain steps and take in the ambiance. There are numerous restaurants in the immediate area that meet all tastes and pricing. We highly recommend Colosseo Foro Romano apartments owned and operated by Alessio and family."
