  • Terrific Location, Great Accommodation, Helpful Owner

"My wife and I stayed in Paola’s apartment for four nights in September 2014 while visiting Rome. We were very happy with the accommodations (the bed is comfortable and we felt very secure in the neighborhood). Paola was also extremely helpful providing guidance purchasing a Roma pass, finding restaurants and visiting “must see” parts of the city. The apartment is also very conveniently located. It’s about a five minute walk to a metro station and a twenty minute walk from the train station (take the Leonardo Express from and to the airport). Once settled in we found ourselves walking everywhere. There are many reasonably priced restaurants close by and we enjoyed the food. Monti is populated by Italians (not a lot of tourists) and that is just what we were looking for. So.. I would highly recommend staying with Paola if you are planning to visit Rome."

  • Excellent Value and Wonderful Host

"I stayed eight nights at Alessandro's apartment and the only thing I can "complain" about was that the bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get out of bed in the morning. LOL!! Not a complaint, of course -- always nice to get a good night of rest after a long day! It was a good, clean, functional studio that had everything I needed and then some, and I loved the private terrace and the amazing view that came with it. The kitchenette had a similar view, having glass on two sides with a window that opened to the terrace. With my heavy luggage, it was really nice to have a lift. And it was definitely quieter at night than other places I've stayed in Rome. As a single female traveler, I felt very safe in the neighborhood. It does have good, friendly places to offer if you want to go out at night, but it's not filled with a bunch of drunk rowdy tourists until 4am like other places, despite being only a 5 minute walk to the Colosseum and all of the other major historical sites. I found everything I needed right in that little neighborhood, laundry, grocery, good food, fresh markets, etc. And the people there were really patient and helpful with me trying to speak Italian. Alessandro was great to work with, and I actually called him to extend my stay a few days longer than originally planned. Overall a truly wonderful experience!"

  • Love to Travel

"This is the perfect apt for Rome. Centrally located, perfect size, comfortable bed, lovely bath, I can't say enough good things about it. I even loved the armoire with lots of hangers and great drawers. It's tucked around the corner from fun shops and great restaurants, with a view, once you ventur out, of the Colosseum down one street and the Forum down the other. Our landlords were lovely & helpful. I highly recommend this to anyone."

  • Visiting Rome

"Apartment is fully equipped and is big enough for four person. It in the center of Rome. To all historical places is very easy to walk. Colosseum is only 10 min far, Piazza Popolo only 15 min, Piazza Navona 20 min. We even walk to Vatican. Bus 64 drives you directly to Vatican, and bus no 40 drives back to the apartment in 15 min. Street Via Milano is next to street Via Nacionale where is supermarket DISPAR, and lot of shops, restaurants. This is perfect place to stay. Giuseppe is very friendly and he also organized transport to airport. I would for sure recommend this apartment to stay. Thank you Giuseppe."
