  • Wonderful apartment in the heart of Rome

"It was a real pleasure for us (two couples) to stay in this wonderful apartment. Paolo was a perfect host. He answered every e-mail request very quickly, arranged all necessary details in advanced and welcomed us at the apartment on time. Additionally, he gave us a thoroughly guidance through the apartment and provided us with touristy and culinary recommendations (make sure to check out at least some of the recommended restaurants and bars - both in the immediate neighborhood and in the inner city - they are all excellent). The apartment was exactly as the images suggest. Both bedrooms and the living room were huge, everything was clean and nicely decorated and - best of all - there's this amazing roof terrace to your exclusive use. I would solely take this apartment for this roof terrace. We had breakfast and dinner there while enjoying and amazing view over the city (with the Colosseum, St. Peter's Basilica and Monumento Nazionale a Vittorio Emanuele II in the center of your view). Especially at night, having a glass of wine and admiring the beautiful lights of the city is way better than spending your time in a crowded bar in the city). Furthermore, the apartment is perfectly located in the center of Rome, only 5 minutes from the Colosseum. You can easily walk all major sights and in our five-days stay we only took the metro (which is not far away) only once to the Vatican. The neighborhood is very nice with a bakery and a mini-market just across the street and fantastic restaurants and tratorias in walking distance. The only negative thing was that Paolo told us on our first day that we can have the apartment to our own on our last day and that we don't have to check out in the morning. But at 10 am they wanted to start cleaning the apartment. We arranged that they come back at 11 am and that we can leave our luggage until we leave, so this was no major problem. I would definitely recommend this apartment and Paolo as a host!!"

  • Great location, clean and comfortable apartment!

"This was my second time to Rome, but the first trip with the husband and my 62 year old mother. The location of Natalia and Walter's apartment is perfect. The size and comfort level is great. The owners did a fantastic job of communicating with me throughout our reservation process and leading up to our arrival. Their friend Stephy also did a great job in greeting us and explaining the ins and outs of the flat. The details of the apartment are described clearly - 2 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms. The main bath is plenty big, and the .5 bath is a great little extra in case someone needs to jump in while the first is occupied. The location of the apartment itself is convenient to the Metro, and Taxis, but its also just a short walk to many sights. Several great restaurants are nearby, we definitely enjoyed a few! If ever our travels lead us back to Roma, we will definitely seek out a rental unit with Natalia and Walter! Thank you for helping me make this a wonderful experience for us and my mother!!!"

  • Loved it!

"This is a lovely one bedroom apartment in a residential area of Rome, just a block from the river and a short bus ride to the Colosseum and all the major historical sites. I loved having my coffee sitting at the table with the windows open on the courtyard. Everything looks as if it has been recently painted and updated. The beds are comfortable and the bath is clean and well appointed. The kitchen has everything you need except the groceries and there are stores just down the street for that. There are plenty of restaurants nearby if you don't want to cook. Would definitely stay here again if I ever get to return to Rome."
