Convenient location to Colosseum, resturants and two metro lines, all within walking distance
"This apartment is spacious and in great location. We are a family of four and stayed 3 nights comfortably. It is about 10 minutes walking to Colosseum and you can take bus too, which is in front of the apartment building. We walked about 5 minutes to take the metro to Vatican and Spanish Steps. Paolo was very helpful in providing attraction, dinning information and direction to our booked tours meeting places. We tried his favorite/recommended restaurants and they were great. Paolo also arranged the taxi for us when we arrived and left Rome."

"This apartment was spacious and an excellent value. We stayed five nights and would recommend it. The location is right across the street from the Colosseum with an excellent view of the Colosseum from the master bedroom, dining room and living/3rd bedroom. It's a half-block from the Metro, an easy walk to groceries. The furnishings are nice and traditional for those that went to Rome to see history rather than modern. It slept 4 comfortably and could have slept more. There are no buildings opposite it, so it is fairly private. The kitchen was small but allowed us to avoid eating out for breakfasts and most dinners. Having it as a home base made Rome feel manageable. You could hear the nightclub below the master bedroom, but it didn't prevent anyone from sleeping. The WiFi worked well, and the laundry was helpful."

"Silvia was great to respond to any questions we had and booking was easy. We arrived to find the heat intense and the air was actually chewable! Fortunately, the apt has powerful air conditioning. Cricket is located down a side street on a tiny piazza, over an equally small and charming restaurant. It is just as the pictures show and VERY clean. The frig was thoughtfully stocked and there was every utensil one would need to make meals. Everything was fresh and inviting. Walk to the main street and the Colosseum opens up before you. Remarkable! The location is perfect to visit anything your heart desires. There is a tiny liquor store down the street that offers tastings of lemoncello. It was incredibly good, better than any I've had. Had to buy several bottles. Cricket is quiet, neighborhood noise was non-existent. There are stairs and also a very small lift, so Cricket can accommodate you if stairs are difficult. Can't recommend this apt enough. When we return, we will check here for our lodging. Thank you Silvia for a smooth ck-in, directions, and for helping to make our visit perfect! -debbie"

We didn't stay here but we started from this listing
"When I was trying to book this one, the owner told it was not available and recommended a different one. A week before we arrived, he informed us the alternative A was flooded and provided the alternative B. We did stay in B and it was fine. Just thought the experience is interesting to make a comment."
