  • The accommodations were perfect.

"My wife and I stayed at La Giulia as part of our honeymoon to Italy. The accommodations were perfect. A little small, but cozy. The spiral staircase was a great addition. The neighborhood was quiet and the surroundings were typical Italy, quaint and colorful. The area was centrally located, within walking distance of everything: 10 minutes to the Vatican, 10 minutes to Piazza Navona (great restaurants and people watching), 30 minutes from the train station. We ate a several rooftop restaurants with to-die-for views: Hotel Relais and Hotel Indigo. A must restaurant is Il Convivo Trioni (expensive but superb). I would definitely recommend Italy Perfect to a friend."

  • Lupa Flat

"Well located - walking distance to most sights, shopping and dining. Very quiet and has all the Amenities needed for a great stay. A bottle of wine and snacks were waiting for us on arrival. Valentina met us at the flat where A bottle of wine and snacks were waiting. We would recommend the flat."

  • Wonderful place in Rome in Monti area

"The Galleria apartment is a wonderful place to stay in Rome. Located in a great neighborhood (Monti) where you have the opportunity to interact with the locals and wonderful restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. Jill Barnes-Dacey is wonderful hostess, and made numerous suggestions to help with our stay. The apartment itself is very spacious, and can sleep six. It is decorated with very nice artwork and has everything in the apartment you need. I highly recommend staying here if you are going to be in Rome for 3 or more days."

  • What a find!

"Exactly as advertised; clean and welcoming. Pia showed us how everything worked; she was most obliging. Very close to produce market and also pretty convenient for the bus down to the Vatican and the tram to the Piazza del Populo. A great stay."

Esquilino Travel Tips

The Esquilino Villas Region

The Esquilino region of Rome boasts historic ruins, classic architecture and a modern mixture of Italian natives and Chinese immigrants. The area is rich in historical sites, boutique shopping, and tradition and fusion restaurants. Staying in Esquilino Villas or Esquilino apartments is the perfect way to see and explore the region. Esquilino sits tucked in the Esquiline hills and is conveniently connected to the rest of Rome with a convenient metro line as well as traditional roads.

Close to Rome

By staying in Esquilino villas or Esquilino apartments, you'll have the time and proximity to extensively explore this area of Rome. Historical sites located in the area include Scala Sancta, which is believed to be the ancient staircase that Jesus Christ used to approach Potious Pilot prior to his trial in Rome. Traditional Roman Catholics and other Christians alike come to worship at the steps. The Santa Maria Maggiore, a basilica built in the ninth century, houses a museum and features ancient architecture including walls and fixtures plated in gold.

Music and Culture

For music lovers, the National Museum of Musical instruments is also located in Esquilino, conveniently close to your villa or apartment.

Due to its large Asian population, visitors to Esquilino can experience Asian fusion food, traditional Thai massages and several stores and boutiques featuring both Italian and Asian products. Restaurants in Esquilino can be an adventure for your pallet, ranging from fresh Chinese-style seafood to traditional Italian pastas, ice cream and gelato.

There is no better way to experience this exciting neighborhood of Rome than at an Esquilino apartment or, true to the Italian style, an Esquilino villa. Accommodations are comfortable and affordable, featuring everything you need for a short or extended visit. Whether a romantic getaway or a family vacation, Rome vacation rentals are the way to go .
