  • Loved this apartment!

"Four of us stayed in this apartment for 4 days over New Year's Eve and had a wonderful stay. The apartment is large, and the photos are accurate. Everything we needed was there, and we appreciated the bread/eggs/jam/butter etc.! We loved being close to the large food market and enjoyed having morning coffee at the small coffee shop in the courtyard in the next block. Termini train station was 5 minutes away with all the services, and there were lots of restaurants just a few minutes walk away. We walked to the Coliseum on New Year's Eve and loved the fireworks and the novelty of an Italian New Year's Eve. We would definitely return to this apartment next time we are in Rome. Thanks Mary!"

  • Great apartment. Great location

"This apartment is in a clean and safe building, within walking distance of all major sights. Susanna was very welcoming, even though our flight had been delayed for 2 hours and was there to show us through the apartment. The apartment is very spacious, and the kitchen was well equipped. Both the dishwasher and washing machine worked well as did the WIFI. For a European apartment, you cannot beat the space this apartment had or the nice layout. The bedroom was also quite comfortable and there is plenty of closet/shelving space for clothes and other things. There were two bathrooms which were a good size although the shower off the main bedroom was very small and would not be good for a bigger person. However, the shower in the second bathroom was great and you had enough room to move around in. The second bedroom was tiny and had the equivalent of a single bed. While there is also a pullout, I would not imagine it would be very comfortable. I would therefore, recommend this apartment for no more than 3 adults or two adults and two small children. Overall, we LOVED this apartment, the location and the service we received from both Susanna and the concierge. Our damage deposit was returned promptly on the day of departure and the concierge arranged a cheaper drive back to the airport. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks Susanna!"

  • Nice apartment near Vatican

"We stayed at this property over Christmas 2014 and have mostly positive feedback. The booking process was easy and Francesca was responsive to any questions we had, which was great! A couple of weeks before we were to travel, I had inquired about something and received a response from Krystel, who identified herself as an associate of Francesca's, so I didn't think anything of it. Krystel met us near the train station to walk us to the apartment, which we appreciated very much. On our way, I was surprised to hear that Francesca no longer owns the property, Krystel said she works for the new owner, but that Francesca was still involved because of when we booked. It made me a little uneasy because we were unaware of that, but Krystel assured me that everything was fine and the agreement was the same, (which it was). Krystel said that the owner's grandson was getting the apartment ready but she was needed to help with the translating. We arrived at the apartment (10 minute walk from the metro). The grandson gave us a tour and answered some questions. We were given a piece of paper with some information on it, but more info in writing would have definitely been helpful - basic directions to things, etc. The apartment was nicely appointed and there was even a small Christmas tree, which was very nice and made it feel homey. The bathroom that has the washer and dryer in it and the hydrotub does not have a shower curtain, so I'm not sure why it's advertised as being a shower. The dryer was very infefficient, (even though we followed the instructions and emptied the water basin underneath, and cleaned the lint trap with each load) - in fact, we had better luck hang drying items! Like another person mentioned, there was a slight sewer like smell in that same bathroom, and the toilet did not always flush. We had a couple of issues in that the power went out twice - first time because they forgot to mention we shouldn't use more than a couple of electronic devices at the same time which was easily remedied by flipping the switch, and again on Christmas Day (whole building) and we had a hard time reaching Krystel to ask for flashlight (we had to buy) and we had to buy a wine opener after searching the entire kitchen and not finding one. Also, some silverware was dirty in the drawer, which wasn't pleasant. Baccanale 59 was a WONDERFUL restaurant, and right down the block. Great location. Nice apartment, just hope they fix a few things!"

  • Great Location, Nice Apartment, perfect for a family of 3 or 4 if the kids are small

"My wife, daughter and I spent 4 nights and 5 days over Christmas break at this apartment. The location is great, being about a 5 minute walk to the Pantheon and the Piazza Novano. We did a lot of walking in Rome and this apartment helps with that. 25 minutes to the Coliseum and in the opposite directionto Vatican City, and surrounded by great neighborhoods. Trastaverte was only about 10 minutes away. We even used the patio (it was winter after all) for lunch one day. There is a Coop supermarket about 2 blocks away. The apartment is nice. No dryer, but there is a washing machine. Guiseppe is very nice and accommodating. he gave us a few recommendations for meals and they were great. I do not think the kitchen is conducive to cooking a standard dinner, but is perfect for easily made breakfast or lunch (but who needs it with all the great food in Rome?) Another negative is he does not accept credit cards or PayPal, only cash. I definitely recommend the apartment for a great stay in Rome."
