  • Charming, Quirky, Delightful two large double bedrooms in Trastevere!

"Luisa´s beautiful apartment is in the Heart of Trastevere! The two double bedrooms were perfect with lots of storage place. We loved the apartment had a bathtub ... which is so rare to find. Luisa has almost every reference book in Rome on her livingroom bookshelves. The kitchen had everything that was required and previous guests had kindly left bits and pieces --- like olive oil, salt and pepper, ground coffee. We could have stayed for ever. The location was PERFECT ... on a quiet one way street opposite a convent ... no vespas racing up and down the street. Approximately 5 minute walk to the active area of Trastevere´s cafes, bars and restaurants. We loved it! Grazie Mille Luisa!"

  • charming stylish Rome stay

"Thanks Elizabeth for a fabulous stay. Monti is a terrific area of Rome - and one we had not stayed in before. Feels much more like you are visiting friends than being tackled by hordes of tourists at the Spanish steps. everything - from the linen to the welcome food pack was done with thoughtful and stylish attention to detail. We also took your fab food recommendations. We will come back to Rome and we would choose to stay here."

  • delivered the complete package

"A topnotch apartment. Marmi is a wonderful hostess. She arranged tours, made local recommendations and had transportation from and to the Rome airport arranged. There were no glitches at all (maybe one due to sickness of a guide). The location is excellent and you can pretty much walk everywhere. The unit was comfortable and clean. We had an issue with the coffee maker and Marmi had a new one there in 2 hours. That is customer service excellence. A great food store is around the corner with reasonable prices if you want to have some meals at the apartment. Her greatest delivery surprise was Francesca the guide. (Also her daughter and a lovely well spoken young lady). We highly recommend that you use her whenever possible. Tastefully decorated and spacious. The outdoor patio was wonderful for wine and conversation. You can't go wrong with Marmi and Casalilli!"

  • Chenza NJ

"The apartment was exactly as described on VRBO. Very comfortable, close to terrific restaurants, and convenient to all of central Rome. Susanna the owner was very helpful. Nice to have an elevator for getting luggage to the apartment. Two restaurants, Da Sergio and La Quercia were very close by and excellent. Don't miss the Abbey Theatre Tavern close to Piazza Navona. Would recommend this property for any couple."

Navona Travel Tips

Enjoying the Pleasures of Rome, Italy From Your Navona Vacation Rentals

Rome is one of those places that you must savor. Navona vacation rentals offer the ideal opportunity to enjoy all that Rome, Italy has to offer. When you find the perfect lodgings in Rome, you can truly enjoy the charm of the city. This area is always lively and finding entertainment is easy.

Where and What to Eat in Rome

One of the things some holidaymakers look forward to on vacation is sampling the area's cuisine. There are many opportunities to try the best of Roman cuisine from Navona vacation rentals. There are many restaurants in and around the Piazza Navona. Two popular ones are Trattoria da Francesco, known for great food and reasonable prices, and Margutta Ristorante, the restaurant of choice for vegetarians. Their cheese ravioli has a reputation of being the best. Persons who like cooking for themselves can try preparing their own dishes unique to Rome from the comfort of their rented Navona accommodation. While Italian cuisine is well known worldwide, each area of Italy has its own specialties with Rome being no different. Some favorites are pasta amatriciana, bruschetta (toasted bread coated with garlic) and Carciofi alla giudea (battered, fried artichokes).

Attractions in Rome

When in Rome, Italy, there are so many attractions it's hard to decide what to see and where to go. Some popular attractions within easy reach of most Navona vacation rentals include Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi (Fountain of the Four Rivers) constructed in the 17th century; Church of Sant'Agnese in Agone; and Museo di Roma (Museum of Rome). When it comes to Rome apartments, tourists will find that Navona vacation rentals offer so much more than hotels. Their individuality cannot be replicated in a hotel. Many Navona accommodations are architectural wonders of the area.
