  • A lovely place to live in Rome!

"This apartment is unique in a small street. Between lovely shops and restaurants as wel as churches and musea. What more do you want in Rome!"

  • Wonderful stay at Rome.

"We had a wonderful stay at Rome for 5 days, a week before Christmas. It was the first time we stayed in Rome, and we know already: we will come back. The apartment from Filippo is a nice place to stay with everything you need. Booking went smoothly and everything was well organized, good service. We walked for hours through Rome , and after that we returned to our apartment for a rest. Then we went out for dinner and most of the time: "just around the corner". There are many little streets in the neighbourhood with nice shops and cosy restaurants. We visited already many big cities in Europe, but Rome is one of our favourites. Greetings , Nini en Ton from Holland."

  • Location can't be beat; owner has too many properties and is too busy....

"This is a relatively nice apartment in a fantastic location. It is near wonderful plazas with great restaurants where you get to hang out, and eat, like locals. Living in this neighborhood for a week is getting to experience life in Rome in a way you don't with a big hotel. It is also well situated to to tourist attractions. I give this the highest ratings on location. The apartment itself is good, but not great. I don't think it was "fabulous" as some of these reviews suggest. The owner and staff are very nice people who work hard. But renters should know that even though they work hard, they seem to have too many properties to provide the highest level of service. Many things didn't work when we arrived. The washing machine didn't work, the electricity kept going out when we used the air conditioning with other appliances (and you have to find and flip the switch in the dark), and the shower drain was clogged up and didn't drain. Also, the shower head was clogged so water came out in a trickle. The owner DID make efforts to fix things when we complained. The washing machine (which we had counted on to wash clothes when we arrived) was fixed by the 3rd day, and on the 3rd day he also paid for some of our clothes to be cleaned because I kept complaining that we had arrived in Rome with all dirty clothes and had been counting on using the washing machine to wash all our clothes. It was not pleasant to wear dirty clothes for 3 days. He also had the shower drain cleaned on the 3rd day. The shower head was never fixed. I had asked him about parking before arriving, and he said there was none. So I arranged and paid for a private garage nearby to keep our car. But when we arrived he said there was free parking in the nearby plaza by the french embassy. Why didn't he tell me this before we arrived and I went through all the trouble to find a parking garage, reserve a spot and pay in advance? When we left, we accidentally left a blanket in the apartment....it was an important blanket that we got for our wedding that had been with us all around the world on every trip we have taken together. We could not get them to send it to us, even though we offered to pay them for shipping, etc. I realize they are not required to do this. It was our fault for leaving the blanket. I just give this as an example that they are very busy and don't provide the greatest level of service if a problem arises."

  • A week in the center of old Rome

"The location was indeed ideal; everything we needed and wanted was 'just around the corner'; that's how we first saw the Pantheon, looking for a grocery store. We started and ended each day at the Plaza Navona, a magical place. My adult son and I arrived very early and were able to check in despite the hour. There are a lot of written resource materials in the apartment which can be invaluable for daily planning although the instructions for garbage disposal were in another language to these Americans. The living/dining space was spacious and shiny clean and the big windows open to the street added to the ambiance, much more spacious than a hotel room. The kitchen was small but fully equipped and the bedroom storage was ample. The twin beds in the second bedroom were pulled together as requested but should have been lashed together to avoid movement. Yes, I would recommend this apartment, but mostly Italy Perfect; talking to IPerfect about my needs/expectations in advance ensured our satisfaction (e.g. difficulty walking); the planning resources available on the IPerfect site were so helpful even before the trip."
