"In older building, but clean and spacious. Located 3 blocks from Pantheon. Supermarket 300 feet away. Three local type restaurants within 200 feet and great coffee place across the street and 100 feet away. A taxi rank 300 feet away. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and three nice bathrooms. Air conditioned, but we did not need in May. Patio with great sunset views. Location, location, location. First time user of VRBO, but not the last."

"We spent 5 delightful days in this exceptionally conveniently located apartment. we were met exactly as we had been told, oriented thoroughly and efficiently to the apartment, and provided with plenty of emergency support. The apartment was everything and more than we had expected--very well equipped with many comforts such as an easy espresso machine and extra pillows, and delightfully quirky. The location couldn't have been better. We literally walked to every place we wanted to visit including the Vatican, the Coloseum, the Spanish Steps (every evening!), the Borghese gardens and museum. There were excellent restaurants and cafes all around us. We felt like citizens of the city--it was lovely."

"The location in central Rome made it possible for me to walk to all major tourist attractions. Lots of restaurants, when I wanted to eat out. Convenient super market when I wanted to eat in. Since I was in Rome during the Christmas and the New Year season there was lots of neighborhood activity of musicians, magicians, etc. Wonderful, fun small shops in the area that was fantastic for window shopping or more. Internet access was excellent the entire 8 days I was in the apartment. There are lots of steps but I looked at them as step aerobics that enabled me to enjoy more gelato, pasta, and vino!"

"I picked this apartment for its location which could not have been better-center of central Rome and near all major bus routes. But easy walking distance for almost everything on your list. The apartment itself is clean, quiet, modern (with ac and wifi both in great working order) and the owner was very helpful. The upper floor with 2nd bathroom and small space is hard to get to and, therefore, really only accessible for children. On the other hand, although I did not even think to ask, there is an elevator. Good shops for food, bread, etc. very near by. All in all, I strongly recommend this apartment. It is ready to go with washing machine, cooking equipment, and all of the other traveler necessities. It is especially appropriate for single people or a couple. I enjoyed being there and enjoyed limping back to it at the end of a long day."
