Wonderful apartment in a perfect historic location
"My Italian-born wife, Giovanna, and I stayed at Francesca's lovely and comfortable apartment for two weeks in late April - early May. The apartment's location is perfect. All we needed was just steps away, including some of the very best pizza and gelato in the city. The well-stocked supermarket - - a labyrinth of staples, cheeses, meats, deli, and fish -- is practically next door, along with many delightful trattorias, wine bars, and regular "bars" (cafes). The apartment is in the back of the historic palazzo and very quiet despite being in the middle of a lively neighborhood. It is an easy walk to many of Rome's most marvelous ancient and not-so-ancient places. The apartment was a sanctuary at the end of long, remarkable days. Francesca and her local folks were an absolute pleasure We will be back !!!"

"Beautiful apartment right in the heart of Rome with all the amenities anyone would be looking for! The only drawback is the second bathroom (the apartment has two!!! Bathrooms) which doesn't have a separation for the shower, so the water is all over the bathroom floor, but it's a small price to pay for being right in the center and having two bedrooms and fully equipped kitchen. Also the service was top notch! We will be back :)"

"The location is great with no noise at all. Old but neat place needs new furniture. I was with my parents and 30 steps dudn't bother them. Georgia was very helpful too. I'll definitely recommend this place strongly."

"We had a great stay in Ripetta House. There is lots of room for 4 adults, 2 couples.
Luca, the owner, met us at the door as the airport pick-up dropped us. He helped get our luggage into the elevator, and then gave us a tour of the apartment. He lives on the ground floor, if you happen to have an emergency. We did not.
There are SO many excellent restaurants in the immediate area that we could not visit them all. We tried!
A grocery store is a 10-15 minute walk from the apartment. We only had breakfast in.
The Colosseum is about a 45 minute walk. Lots to see on the way. The Spanish steps and Borghese gardens are very close. The Vatican is a quick transit ride away.
Use the public transit. Close by, and saves the sore feet at the end of the day.
We rented a car for an overnight trip to Amalfi. Stayed at a B & B in Salerno.
We had a great time touring from the apartment."
