Home Away from Home
"I stayed at the Lupa Flat for 31 days while I was doing a study abroad program in Rome. I'm a non-traditional student so I wasn't interested in student housing. This was my first trip to Europe so everything was new and different. I was greeted by Daniela who was warm and welcoming. She helped me with all my questions. Let me warn you, if you've never been to Rome, nothing is as it seems it should be........it's part of the charm. Go out and get lost, trust me you will.
The apartment manager Nicola was outstanding. She was so kind and very responsive. I must say, she really went above and beyond. Thank you Nicola! The apartment owners were also very helpful and gracious. Take advantage of some of the "add on" services they offer. I used the airport shuttle roundtrip and it was well worth it.
You are moments from the Spanish Steps, Pasquale's for pizza, a great coffee shop, Via Tomacelli, Via Della Scrofa and Via Del Corso are also very close by. The bus stop and taxi stand is literally 6 blocks away (only take white taxi's; the others are a scam). You also have 2 of the best gelato places very close to you Gelatini and Grom. I prefer Grom but to each their own:)
The apartment is the perfect home base. The kitchen has everything you need to make a quick meal. They provide you with a Nespresso machine and if you've never tried it I STRONGLY encourage you to do so. Very nice extra to have in the flat. You can buy capsules at the Nespresso boutique near the Spanish Steps. The shower worked great; I never ran out of hot water. Apartment is quiet for a large city. As the description clearly states there is only a washer and not a dryer. Also no microwave but a handy little toaster over.
The flat is in an excellent location. Great neighborhood and I always felt very safe. I was there by myself and didn't feel like I had to worry.
Excellent staff, outstanding location, and an amazing city! Thank you for everything. I will be back next year in Settembre and will definitely be staying with you again!"

"I stayed at the apartment with my 3 grown children and their spouses, 2 grandchildren, and 2 family friends - 11 people in all. We had plenty of room to spread out very comfortably. The location is perfect - walking distance to many top locations including the Piazza Navona, Pantheon, etc. There was a taxi stand and a grocery store just around the corner, everything was very convenient. The apartment itself is lovely, especially the bedrooms which really show the historic elements of the building. With 11 people in the last days of a 2.5 week trip, we were thrilled to find TWO washers and dryers in the apartment! The walls and doors were thick, so we ended up with the sleepers on one side and the partiers on the other - everyone could do as they wished without fear of disturbing the others. Giorgia arranged 2 excursions for us: the Vatican, and the Colosseum and Roman Forum. Both of these were highlights of our trip, the guides met us at the apartment and made things very easy for us. We had Emiliano for the Vatican and Linda for the Colosseum. Both were extremely knowledgable and enjoyable to spend time with. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone, but especially a large group interested in feeling just a little "Roman" rather than having the typical hotel experience. The apartment also made this very affordable for our large group, arranging hotel rooms for this many people would have been cost-prohibitive. Excellent choice, I would return in a heartbeat!"

"Beautiful apartment right in the heart of Rome with all the amenities anyone would be looking for! The only drawback is the second bathroom (the apartment has two!!! Bathrooms) which doesn't have a separation for the shower, so the water is all over the bathroom floor, but it's a small price to pay for being right in the center and having two bedrooms and fully equipped kitchen. Also the service was top notch! We will be back :)"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment. Fabri was a joy to work with while we made our arrangements. He responded very quickly to all of our questions and the booking was easy. Karina was amazing and made us feel so at home as soon as we arrived. She kept telling us "you are home" and we really felt like we were. The apartment was well appointed and had everything we needed. It was very spacious for a city apartment and our family of four had plenty of room to spread out. The decor and furnishings were lovely and the owners obviously put time and effort into making sure everything was functional and looked nice. The location was very convenient and central to many sights including Piazza Navona and Campo de Fiori. The neighborhood felt more residential than touristic and felt very safe. I would highly recommend this apartment!"
