"i have been traveling to rome for some 25 years ...staying in beautiful hotels..however, having one's "own" apartment is simply the best. "the familia siragusa" could not have been more kind or more responsive to any request..the location is perfect for walking to all the wonders of this beguiling city...yet, the street is quiet, "neighborly", the apartment is well equipped, well-kept, and very comfortable...with a sweet little balcony to enjoy a glass of wine(or two) in the evening.. a most perfect "home"."Guest: Karla s. "Mauro and his staff were incredible! Mauro's prompt answers were much appreciated! The apartment was very clean, comfortable and in a great location. Mauro's rental site page was great, adding airport pick up/drop off was a breeze and they were so accommodating with all our requests. Will let all our family and friends know where to go when renting in Rome:) thanks Mauro!!"Guest: Christine Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: July 20, 2014View listing
"I wanted to tell you that we very much enjoyed staying at Orlando, in Rome, with its convenient location, tasteful furnishing with comfortable beds, and ample supply of clean plush towels. We felt very much at home. I also wish to thank you for the professional manner in which the rental process was handled. It helped ease the stress of planning our trip to Europe this summer. We left the apartment in good order in early morning of Friday, July 4. Our electricity consumption was minimal as we were out of the apartment all day. We did no cooking, and didn't have the time to use the washing machine. Lastly, I owe Rene Batard an apology, by calling him late in the evening of June 30, to notify him of our arrival on July 1, and then calling him early morning on the day of our departure. Our driver insisted that he pick us up 4 hours ahead of our departure time (11 a.m.), and I wanted to notify Rene when we were vacating the apartment. Other than that, our stay at Orlando went smoothly, and I would certainly recommend it to our friends and family members."Guest: Inja P. "We were a family of 2 kids 10 & 12. We were met at the airport by the transfer Service provided by luigi. It was great. We were met at the apartment and shown How it worked. I loved having a washing machine and patio. It was near the Spanish steps and a Very good position for walking and catching the metro .we were out from 1000 to 2030 each day- walking, or seeing the sightsby bike. Luigi a tour was booked out so we used another company which was Great- just google bike riding Rome (not red Bikes). The street was a little noisy, but this added to the ambience of living in the city .Our friends in Melbourne live in the city and this too is noisier than we are used to, but not a negative.I dont think there would be too many quiet streets in Rome - it's an exciting place. I look forward to my 4th trip to Rome . Cheers Jackie from Melbourne Australia"Guest: Jackie Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: October 2, 2014View listing
