  • Charming, Quirky, Delightful two large double bedrooms in Trastevere!

"Luisa´s beautiful apartment is in the Heart of Trastevere! The two double bedrooms were perfect with lots of storage place. We loved the apartment had a bathtub ... which is so rare to find. Luisa has almost every reference book in Rome on her livingroom bookshelves. The kitchen had everything that was required and previous guests had kindly left bits and pieces --- like olive oil, salt and pepper, ground coffee. We could have stayed for ever. The location was PERFECT ... on a quiet one way street opposite a convent ... no vespas racing up and down the street. Approximately 5 minute walk to the active area of Trastevere´s cafes, bars and restaurants. We loved it! Grazie Mille Luisa!"

  • Lovely Apartment - Excellent Location

"Casa Glorioso is perfect as a base for a stay in Rome. The apartment is very clean, well-equipped and comfortable and the owner very welcoming and helpful. We would definitely stay there again. The location is excellent for exploring Rome on foot and the bars and restaurants in the Trastevere are great value for eating out and enjoying the friendly atmosphere late into the evening."

  • You couldn't ask for a better Owner to rent from in Roma!

"Myself, my husband and our 13 year old daughter stayed at Eliana's Home in Roma for 3 nights. It was a short stay in Rome, but a BEAUTIFUL place to stay. If it wasn't our 1st time in Roma, I would've LOVED to stay inside the apartment more, relax and explore the neighborhood, and talk more with Eliana. Eliana is an AMAZING hostess. She was SO thorough, detailed, and I don't think there was ONE thing that she didn't think of - she has EVERYTHING you need in that apartment and/or can tell you exactly where to go to get whatever you need. She is the sweetest person and I appreciated ALL of the little touches in the apartment. It was SO clean, very comfortable. Being able to use the laundry was SO great too - just keep in mind they dry on clothes racks/or clotheslines there so you have to wait for your clothes to dry. But her balcony gets a lot of sun so your stuff should dry in no time! :) This apartment is closest to a bus stop (Bus 49) which takes you into the Vatican area where you can catch other Metro stops/buses/walk to different parts of Roma. Please note, if you do decide to take the Metro stop closest to her house (Metro A) you will walk about 10-15 minutes to get there. And KEEP IN MIND that while the metro is the fastest & easiest way to travel - after a long day of walking and exploring you will NOT want to walk this route back to her house at night. You will be so tired, that walking the many blocks uphill is not fun. It's perfectly do-able when you are fresh and ready to go in the morning but at night I recommend you take the bus if you can. Once you get home you are in heaven but getting there after a long day can be a pain. Also, it is not a location that you can come back & forth to during the day. Plan on leaving in the morning and coming back at night. Overall, I would absolutely stay here again. You can't beat all that Eliana provides - she really is an "all inclusive" deal - with a HEART OF GOLD to boot! I am 100% pleased with our trip and experience with Home In Roma!!! :D"

Prati Travel Tips

Ever Wanted a Mediterranean Vacation? Now You Can Have One, at the Prati Villas in Italy

Many people go their whole lives dreaming of a vacation in the Mediterranean: Eating tomatoes and olives fresh and ripe from the vine, sipping fine Mediterranean wine from ancient Italian vineyards, and catching sun from the Adriatic Sea's particular brand of equatorial sunshine. Well, with Rome vacation rentals, you can make this dream a reality. Instead of paying the price for a hotel, pay the same amount and land yourself in one of the beautiful, spacious, and purely idyllic Prati villas on Italy's eastern coast.

Look Over the Adriatic Sea From Your Holiday Dream-Come-True

The Prati villas and Prati apartments give you the prices of a visitor and the experience of a native. Even if you don't speak the language, you can eat the food and swim in the water. The money you save by renting a vacation home instead of a hotel in your destination can be used to subsidize the cost of expensive transcontinental plane tickets. If you go during the right time of the year, the tickets may be cheaper, and you'll have even more money to splurge as you wind your way through the streets and shops of Prati.

Explore History in Italy on Your Next Vacation

The best thing about vacationing in Italy is that you can experience the new through the filter of the old. You can see the sights and memorials of ancient Rome and see where Western history first started to come into itself when you vacation in historic Prati. Spend a day driving along the Adriatic coast, or wander farther inland and explore the pastures and hills of Italy's picturesque countryside.
