  • Tastefully decorated flat

"There isn't a thing about this flat that I didn't like. Full size bathroom and kitchen, comfortable queen size bed in loft and adorable living room with flat screen TV and desk. There is also ample space in the living room closets to store your clothes. Wifi has a strong signal which was important to me. Linens on the bed were hotel quality. Remo, the owner, works two doors down if you have any questions. He's quite friendly and helpful. His wife speaks English pretty well. I would definitely recommend this wonderful space to anyone. I will be back. Vatican is a two minute walk, and the Metro is a five to ten minute walk. There are some great local, non touristy restaurants within walking distance. You won't be disappointed!!"

  • Perfect stay in Rome

"After 3 weeks of staying in various rental apartments and homes around Italy, I can confirm that Luca's apartment is one of the true 'gems'. The location is perfect. The apartment is on a convivial square, but it's on the 3rd floor, so you can either choose to welcome the street sounds (windows open) or block them out (windows closed). Additionally, the bedroom is on the back side of the building, facing a quiet and beautiful courtyard, which can only be seen and not accessed from the apartment. We found the best sleep of our trip on this bed and in this bedroom. The importance and the quality of the apartment's location within the city cannot be overstated. We were within a 10-minute walk of the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, and Campo de Fiori (right around the corner). The Forum and the Coliseum were only a bit further away. The immediate neighborhood (Campo de Fiori) was the best we found in the city for eating and walking. Luca treated us as guests in his home, and the furnishings and the fixtures of the house reflect care and attention to detail. Everything was of high quality, but the bed (as noted) was especially nice. Note that the kitchen and the bathroom were formerly one room and have now been split into two, so they were a bit narrow, including the galley-style kitchen (as you can see from the photo). The shower was small but very manageable even for a tall person (I'm 6'5"), and we didn’t have any problems with the freshness of the air in the bathroom. There is a small window in the shower that opens into the courtyard that allowed for great air-flow and drying of towels, etc. Note that the living room is large and could accommodate a second couple, but that approach would make for a tight fit in the apartment. The sofa-bed, if used, would be most suitable for 1 or 2 kids rather than for an adult couple. Based on its location, I would recommend staying here even if the actual accommodations were a bit less desirable, but the quality of the apartment makes this place a real find. If you're planning to come to Rome, do yourself a favor and book Luca's place."

  • Great Apartment - Perfect Location - Michael from Chicago

"We stayed for 5 nights, (my wife and I and our 2 children 22 and 20 yrs old). The apartment is located about a block from the Trevi Fountain right smack in the middle of Rome. Everywhere in Rome is within walking distance including the Vatican. While Rome is chaotic with people the apartment itself is extremely quiet and peaceful. it is almost a sanctuary amid the chaos. Dorotea made the arrangements to have us picked up from the airport and that went flawlessly. Once we arrived we were met by a very nice fellow named Giorgio. He helped get us set up and oriented and acquainted with the area and was also very helpful with recommendations about where to go and what to do. The Apt. is very spacious and comfortable and well appointed. I would absolutely highly recommend this apartment especially for its perfect location to explore all of Rome."

"Perfect and absolutely beautiful. The driver picked us up at airport and the drive in was great. The apartment is located in the best location possible. Michela was at the apartment to greet us and absolutely charming. Everything in the apartment was great. Waking up in the morning to the sound of all the birds outside our open shutter windows on the 2nd floor was my favorite moment of our stay in Rome. I can't think of anything we didn't like about the apartment, the location and our stay. Only wish we could have stayed longer. But we will definitely return and Anna's apartment will be our first choice! Thank you Anna & Michela so much! (Michela, be safe on your beautiful pink bicycle!) Best regards, Gloria & Steve Vancouver"

Prati Travel Tips

Ever Wanted a Mediterranean Vacation? Now You Can Have One, at the Prati Villas in Italy

Many people go their whole lives dreaming of a vacation in the Mediterranean: Eating tomatoes and olives fresh and ripe from the vine, sipping fine Mediterranean wine from ancient Italian vineyards, and catching sun from the Adriatic Sea's particular brand of equatorial sunshine. Well, with Rome vacation rentals, you can make this dream a reality. Instead of paying the price for a hotel, pay the same amount and land yourself in one of the beautiful, spacious, and purely idyllic Prati villas on Italy's eastern coast.

Look Over the Adriatic Sea From Your Holiday Dream-Come-True

The Prati villas and Prati apartments give you the prices of a visitor and the experience of a native. Even if you don't speak the language, you can eat the food and swim in the water. The money you save by renting a vacation home instead of a hotel in your destination can be used to subsidize the cost of expensive transcontinental plane tickets. If you go during the right time of the year, the tickets may be cheaper, and you'll have even more money to splurge as you wind your way through the streets and shops of Prati.

Explore History in Italy on Your Next Vacation

The best thing about vacationing in Italy is that you can experience the new through the filter of the old. You can see the sights and memorials of ancient Rome and see where Western history first started to come into itself when you vacation in historic Prati. Spend a day driving along the Adriatic coast, or wander farther inland and explore the pastures and hills of Italy's picturesque countryside.
