  • A Very Happy Stay

"We were very happy in Angelina. While the location is in a touristy area (groups use the street to march from the Spanish Steps to the Trevi Fountains), it's easy to feel the neighborhood around you. And it was very quiet at night. Having the grocery store nearby is wonderful, and the street has several cheap eat options. Apartment was perfect for two. When we had a third person sleeping in the loft, she had to go through the bedroom to use the toilet. All the furnishings are a little dowdy, but that made it homey. Kitchen is definitely for one person only and not a place to cook a grand meal. But we ate in several times. Only complaint is that you are next to the building machinery, so elevator and water pump noise is heard in the apartment. The place is very well equipped. Definitely recommended."

  • Perfect

"Foremost: the apartment is in a perfect location within Rome. On the doorstep of Piazza Novona and minutes from the Pantheon. There are endless restaurants and bars located nearby to enjoy. In addition, the majority of the major sites are within 15-30 minutes walking distance. Although the apartment is small (as with many major cities) it is beautifully decorated and ideal for a couple. Furthermore, the owners were wonderful insofar that every possible need upon arrival was though of. These included, but not limited to such aspects as: arranged driver to-and-from the airport, milk, coffee, tea, beer and wine, some books, plug adaptors and guides and a SIM card within a phone. A lot of these small yet thoughtful items really make the trip and apartment much mode enjoyable. Not just would I recommend the property to prospective travelers but I would, without doubt, stay here again. Mark and Emma"

  • Great home in Rome!

"Our family of 4 stayed in Giuseppe's apartment for a week this winter and it completely lived up to the hype in all of the previous reviews. We had a great night tour with Giuseppe that helped us get oriented to Rome (and got us to some beautiful city overlooks we would never have found otherwise). I was thinking on our second day that the only thing missing was extra towels for the hot tub - and literally as I was thinking this Giuseppe showed up with extra towels. Its an easy walk (~10 minutes) from the apartment downhill into the fun little neighborhood just north of the Ponte Milvio over the Tiber and easier still to catch a bus at the stop just a few blocks from the apartment. The kitchen was well appointed and the espresso maker was a very nice touch. The hot tub was a great way to end long days of walking all over Rome. You are definitely not in the thick of Rome's tourist hub if you stay here (its a good 15-30 minute public transport commute into town), but for us the tradeoff in having such a great place to stay and such a nice, locals neighborhood to come home to was totally worth it. Thanks Giuseppe!"
