  • Great location at San Quintino apartment

"We stayed at the San Quintino apartment for a month and loved it! Each day we explored Rome and were glad that the apartment was so conveniently located close to all public transportation. The apartment is spacious for two people but could comfortably fit more. A quiet neighborhood near shopping and tourist sites. The amenities are great, with large refrigerator, gas stove, and laundry. The Internet seemed to go down every weekend but always came back on Mondays. I would definitely recommend the San Quintino apartment."

  • Completely superb! AAA+

"When I look for a place on VRBO, I'm looking for cool (temperature), quiet, clean, dark at night, and special. This place has all those things and more - I could not recommend it higher. The two air conditioners work very well! The remote can be a little confusing, but after playing with it for a while I found the silent mode. Never in my life have I seen an AC put out that much cold while being that quiet. It is easy to sleep (both naps and at night) with it on. The apartment is very quiet, no road noise. I'd say there is one exception, and that is the concerts that happen in front of San Giovanni. They can be very loud, and easily heard within the apartment. Now, just because they can be heard doesn't mean they would keep a person up. One bordered on that during our stay, but the good news is that they all ended by 12:15AM. So, if you are a super light sleeper and need to get to bed early, then maybe you have a problem. Otherwise, it's not a big deal. The first night of our stay had a jazz concert, and it was actually very nice to listen to. It can be a plus! The apartment is very clean and comfortable. Both inside and on the patio, there is nothing to make you feel grungy or uneasy at all. The doors to the patio have shutters, so you can shut out all light there. The door into the other room just has a drape over it, but it blocks most light and there are certainly no street lights blaring in your face while trying to sleep. The view is spectacular, with a great setting. The patio is spacious, with good chairs and a table. It has a number of plants, which give a nice atmosphere. Very private patio, all things considered. The owner is very gracious, honorable, and considerate. We had a number of problems with our arrival, and Maurizio was very kind to help us work through them. Internet - 11mbps down, 11mbps up, 10ms ping, strong and consistent WiFi Water - Clean, tastes good, ice cubes in freezer, good pressure, hot for showers Location - Very well situated, easy subway access. Some reviews question the safety of the area, but a lot of Rome is very different from London or US. Door has about eight bolts that move on one lock. Plus, there is a locked building door at the bottom. Extremely safe. Stairs - Yep, there are quite a number. It's worth it, though. Kitchen - Well stocked Communication - Excellent and responsive! Overall, I could not be happier. I've already recommended it to friends!"

  • Great location, great owner

"The apartment was very clean and sunny and kitchen supplies (water, beer, milk, bread, coffee, etc) were stocked and ready for us.Lot of tourist books were available and Rosalba and/or her daughter were available to provide more if needed. The wifi was excellent, strong signal. The bathroom was also well stocked with towels, soaps, and shower supplies. The listing photos and description of the apartment are accurate. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this apartment to others. Apartment is well situated if you want to walk around Rome and is closed to metro if needed.Dealings with the owner ( Rosalba ) are friendly , she is an amazing and trusworthy person. We would return without hesitation."

San Giovanni (St. John Lateran) Travel Tips

San Giovanni Villas Put Rome's Treasures At Your Fingertips

Rome is full of history, but also has very modern and trendy facets. It is definitely one of the must-see cities in the world and when you are there you will want to take in as many aspects as you can to get the full experience. San Giovanni villas are a great spot to settle in and start soaking up the local culture. With so many historical wonders like the Colosseum and Spanish Steps just a short walk or subway trip away and more contemporary, funky spots in the area, San Giovanni apartments give you the opportunity to take it all in.

A Shopaholic's Dream Come True

The sightseeing is fantastic, but if you also need to fulfill your shopping desires then you are in the right place, especially if you are hoping to find something one of a kind. San Giovanni apartments put you in the ideal place for investigating the local clothing market. The San Giovanni Clothing Market is a treasure seeker's delight. Rather than hitting up the much pricier boutiques, you can pick up stylish Italian fashions for a steal and have the thrill of the chase while doing it. Of course, if the specialty stores are more your style then you are in the perfect area for that too.

Homey, Yet Exciting

As hard as it may be to take a break from all of the excitement, the non-stop sightseeing and shopping can wear you out after a while and there is no better place to settle in than in one of the spectacular San Giovanni villas. Each property offers its own unique features, but all give you the opportunity to relax in a comforting setting. Unlike staying in a hotel, Rome vacation rentals allow you the conveniences of home, but with the exhilaration of being somewhere exceptional.
