Loved the location, but we had some issues
"I stayed at this property with my husband and three kids (age 15, 13, and 10) for four nights. Our trip did not go smoothly but I do recommend this place. The location was just about perfect. I can still remember the views and scents from the front window. I'd like to list the positives and negatives.
1. Quiet street near the Forum. It's easy to walk everywhere!
2. Plenty of space for my family of five
3. Good AC
4. Comfortable beds
5. Two TVs
7. A moka coffee maker (including a tutorial by Enzo!)
8. An amazing old building with good security
9. Airport pickup service
10. Helpful owner who answers emails promptly
1. No mention of city taxes in initial emails. Needed to know exact amount due to language barrier.
2. No hot water (at all) one day. We took cold showers.
3. No water pressure (at all) the next day. We were unable to use the shower or sink.
4. Bathroom much worse than the photos. Small, dirty, and smelly.
5. Couldn't get washing machine to work despite several attempts
So the negatives were a bit distracting for me as it was very hot in Rome and we had been traveling for a week already. We really needed showers and clean laundry! For a couple days, we felt like we were camping indoors rather than staying at an apartment. The owner is very nice and tried to help us resolve each issue. I feel confident that she will address the problems for future travelers."

"This apartment has the best location I could possibly imagine in Rome. If you stay here, you will be walking distance to all the major attractions and needed services such as restaurants and supermarkets. The apartment had everything we needed for our one month stay. The recent remodel featured updated kitchen and bathroom. The AC worked very well and there was unlimited hot water. The apartment is on the third floor (counting U.S. style) but we used the elevator for our luggage. There is some street noise from the adjacent restaurants, and church bells, but we found it pleasant, not annoying, especially the street musicians. When closed, the modern windows stopped any sounds from entering. Olivia was very helpful and friendly, and even treated us to a Roman dinner at her favorite restaurant. I would definitely recommend this apartment to friends or relatives."

"My husband and I just returned from two weeks in Italy. Our second half of the vacation was spent at Terry's house. We walked and took the subway everywhere we wanted to go and came home to her welcoming apartment at night. Restaurants, groceries and the metro are all easily reached from here. We appreciated the suggested restaurants in the binder she keeps in the apartment. Thank you Maria Teresa! We hope to return!"
