  • Best location I could imagine

"The location in Trastavere couldn't be better -- the neighborhood is wonderful and the apartment is situated away from the noisy tourist/party crowds but within easy walking distance to great restaurants and stores. It's also easy to walk to most of the major sites in central Rome. The apartment itself is well renovated and comfortable with two bedrooms and two bathrooms located on separate levels. There's one main room with a kitchen area that has updated appliances (including dishwasher) and all the things you'll need for simple meals. The real star is the terrace, which is huge, well equipped, filled with well-tended plants and set among beautiful rooftops. The owner was a joy to work with, doing everything he could to make our stay comfortable and easy. Best of all was the time he took to walk us around the entire neighborhood, pointing out the best bakeries, pizzerias and restaurants as well as offering useful tips on public transportation and things to do. He's also just a nice guy."

  • Very nice apartment with a great location

"My wife and I stayed 3 nights here before going to Tuscany. It was a spacious apartment with a large sitting room (or extra sleep room) and a nice sized bedroom. The kitchen had all the necessary conveniences. It was quiet and secure (Carabinieri station just around the corner). I loved that I could walk around the corner to the Bar Roma Libera and get a cappuccino and panino in the morning. Carmela also was helpful in recommending two very good restaurants. She also arranged for transportation to and from airport which for us with two large suitcases was worth the extra money. It was a great base for seeing Rome. Just pick which bridge you want to cross to explore a different set of famous spots."

  • Simply perfect!

"What an amazing base from which to explore this fabulous city! As a couple with two little ones (8 & 2) we were not perturbed by the 55 stairs it takes to reach the apartment as I can assure you that it is more than worth the effort (we left our stroller on the ground floor hidden in front of the resident’s pushbikes). Spacious, stylish and modern, spotlessly clean with all the quality mod cons to please even the fussiest of travellers, the apartment is ideally located within walking distance (10-20mins) to all major sites. We were spoilt for choice with the abundance of quality restaurants within a short stroll of the apartment. (I’m still dreaming about the devine shawarma and pizza slices from the cafes just ‘round the corner!). Highly recommend organising the airport pick-up through Will and Gus. The service we received from Will, Gus and their team from start to finish was faultless (personable, informative and professional). A special thank you Will for all your help in making our stay one that we’ll remember always. We would return in a heart beat! Highly recommended!!!"

  • A Glorious Casa!

"We spent two weeks at Casa Glorioso and greatly enjoyed it. A good space - bedroom dark and comfortable, spacious lounge and dining area, a good kitchen and a small outdoor area. Excellent wi-fi. It was ideal forthe two of us. There are ample supermarkets, restaurants and shopping nearby, two bars close by, 7 minutes walk to Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere with restaurants and night life. Tram and bus routes are close and convenient. Angela and Elisa were prompt with their contact and easy to do business with. We will certainly stay at Casa Glorioso when we return to Rome."
