  • Wonderful apartment for visiting Rome

"My husband and I and 2 friends stayed in this lovely apartment while touring Rome. We enjoyed the neighborhood with lots of good restaurants close by and the convenience to public transit. Arianna welcomed us with a bottle of wine and cookies along with advice about places to eat, etc. Everything that we needed to enjoy our stay was provided and we were very comfortable."

  • The perfect, affordable place in Rome!

"The Trastevere Cottage was perfect for our family of four (My husband, my daughter 17, my son 16, and myself). We loved how the place was so quiet, yet the proximity to great restaurants and shops was just steps away. The kitchen allowed us to make breakfast every morning before we went out for the day. The cottage also has a washing machine, which was ideal for our multi destination, lightly-packed trip. There is a beautiful church near the back entrance, where we were able to witness an extravagant Italian wedding. Also, the view from up there was amazing! Roberto, the owner, was awesome. He helped carry our luggage to the cottage, gave us some excellent tips on places to dine, allowed us to keep our luggage in the cottage on the day of checkout while we continued sightseeing as our train did not depart until evening, and he arranged a cab for our departure. I plan on visiting Rome soon, and I will be staying at the Trastevere Cottage."

  • Great rooftop view!

"Fabulous location, restaurants, site seeing from this place! We were there for two weeks in November and got to enjoy the rooftop deck several times! Very private with great views! It was a peaceful retreat after a busy day in Rome. Helpful hints for future guests considering this place. There are several short ceilings, so if you are tall, this may be challenging. We learned to duck, so it was rarely a problem. Another caution is that there are seventy five stairs to climb and no lift! Again, it was fine for us and we are nearly seventy years old, however if you have leg or knee issues, this may prove challenging. Alessio, the owner could not have been nicer!! He was promptly there if we needed anything, which was rare. His restaurant recommendations were great, especially Taverna Trilussa and Osteria der Belli. We felt fortunate to find this place as we feel it is possibly the best location in Rome!"

  • Cool, calm and stylish apartment in a great location.

"Great place to stay in Rome. A quiet location but just a few minutes walk from the wonderful cobbled streets and cafes/restaurants of Trastevere and the peaceful Botanic Gardens. We walked everywhere, from the Colosseum and Palatine Hill to the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. It's all easily within walking distance. The apartment is fabulous for a family of 4, like us. It's well equipped and stylish. The fans were very welcome during the warm July nights. We all enjoyed our stay and would stay here again next time we're in Rome!"
