lovely stay in Rome
"We loved our stay at Angelina. Elvie was a delight when we checked in. Everything was clean and ready. The apartment was perfect for us - we had our 18 year old nephew with us and he loved having his own space in the loft. The bathroom is large for a European bathroom and it was so helpful having a washing machine. We loved the balcony overlooking the church in the square - which is a must see! My favorite of all in Rome! The terrace was our favorite spot in the evening for wine and snacks to get out of the hectic city. We walked to everything including the colosseum and the other squares and the few times we needed a taxi they were lined up at the Piazza San Silvestro waiting. The market is close by and has everything you need to stock up for the week. Such a perfect location and a lovely restful way to see the city! Italy Perfect has been first class to work with in every respect and I have already recommended them to everyone I talk to. I hope we have the pleasure of staying in this or another of their wonderful properties again!"

"Our family of four (two adults plus kids ages 9 and 10) stayed here for three nights. The apartment itself is very nice and well-kept, a good size for our family. The location is very convenient to the Vatican, with about a ten minute walk to the Vatican Museum entrance and about twenty minutes to St. Peter's Square. The garden provided a relaxing spot to rest in the afternoon after sightseeing. There are a couple of supermarkets within easy walking distance, convenient for families trying to save a little money by eating some meals in. The incredible Mercato Trionfale is about five minutes' walk away and is highly recommended as a place to buy all sorts of interesting produce, cheeses, meats, breads, etc. For gelato try Millenium located between the Vatican wall and the Cipro metro stop.
The host, Mary, was exceedingly helpful and generous with her time. She provided us with an excellent dinner on our arrival, printed out our museum tickets, and drove us to the airport when we left. She was truly wonderful.
One small thing to be aware of: The loft and the living room (where the fold-out bed is) communicate via a balcony, so noises travel easily. This was not a problem for us but may be something to consider if your kids are easily disturbed while sleeping."
