  • Navona Rental-Rome

"My 3 friends and I stayed at this apartment in early May. Excellent location, Giancarlo is great to work with and goes out of his way to be helpful. We used the airport pickup service which I highly recommend and were taken directly to the apartment. A bottle of wine, several bottles of water and fruit greeted us. A true coffee maker would be a big plus, but everything else was great. We had no issues with running out of hot water and that was with four women! Oh, and that really good baking smell is a "secret" bakery right around the corner. Stop over and get some fresh pastries for breakfast the next day."

  • great place!

"Silvio was incredibly helpful and friendly and made sure we knew everything we needed to know before we arrived, he even arranged to have us picked up from the airport! The apartment is in a great location, the road outside is quite busy but you can't really hear it with the balcony window closed. It's close to everything, the Vatican is a few minutes walk away and we walked everywhere all week. I'd highly recommend staying here, Silvio's apartment is an excellent base to explore Rome from!"

  • Family Trip To Rome

"Apartment was clean, well equipped, and as described. The neighborhood seemed fairly well kept by Rome standards with areas moving north towards Termini definitely more dirty. But in the other direction, tree-lined Via Merulana was great for walking and provided plenty of restaurants for dining at night, shops and a full grocery store. Transportation to and from the sites was fairly easy with a combination of walking, metro and bus service getting you just about everywhere. For our family of four (kids 8 & 9) this was a good, well maintained, and economical choice."

  • Third Time in Rome - Best apartment

"This was our third stay in Rome and this is the best apartment we have had. A little farther away from "the action" than the others but still close enough to walk and way more quiet. I would only repeat what others have said about the apartment.... just lovely. Monika is easy to contact and very quick to respond to any questions. When we come back to Rome we will try to stay here again... And yes we tossed coins into Trevi Fountain so it looks like we will be back. For anyone staying here... bus 280 is your friend. If you find yourself, say, in the Campo de Fiori after a long day just walk only a few blocks to the Lungotevere and catch a 280 and be dropped off at the street corner near the apartment (even closer than Lepanto metro stop). Catch 280 to go to Trastevere or Testaccio ... You must go to Volpetti! Or if you are going to Antica Ostia jump on 280 and get off outside the door to the Porta San Paolo (connected to the Pyramide metro station) where you catch the train to Ostia. On the other side of the street catch another 280 to get back..."

Trevi Travel Tips

Dream Vacations in Rome's Trevi Villas

Trevi villas are in a prime location for the vacation of your dreams. Anyone who has studied Rome knows that it is one of the most historically rich places in the world. Visitors to Trevi villas can usually walk to a plethora of places. The Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, the bridges of Tiber River, and the Spanish Steps are just a few of the must see vacation places.

Choose a Vacation Rental instead of a Hotel

While you can also see these places if you stay in a hotel, being able to relax in a warm home-like atmosphere only enhances the experience. A hotel in a tourist-filled city like Rome tends to be a busy place, full of people who are in a hurry to get somewhere. When renting an apartment for your stay, there is no need to worry about the crowds once you have left the street.

Much to See and Do

Small, fresh-air markets are plentiful in Rome and a great place to buy fresh fruits, vegetables and flowers. Walking around in the markets and getting a feel for the city can be fun as well. Rome vacation rentals can give you a closer to daily life experience for those who are in Rome for the first time.

Join the Party

Many Trevi apartments are specifically described as being made for just one or two people. The quiet atmosphere lends itself to peaceful sleep away from stress as well as a romantic weekend for two. Some Trevi apartments, however, can sleep between four and six people, thus making it a great deal for a group getaway as well. Splitting the costs between all of those who are going will save you all money in the long run.
