  • Beautiful Apartment in the Perfect Location

"From the moment we first made arrangements to stay in this wonderful apartment, Emidio was pleasant and helpful. He provided me with maps and information to reach his location, and was even nice enough to advise me on approximate taxi fares (as a Native New Yorker, I appreciated this tremendously). Upon reaching the apartment, Emidio met my family and I at the door, assisted us with our bags, and gave us a tour of the neighborhood, including local restaurants, banks and supermarkets. The apartment is very well kept, beautifully appointed, and contains everything a travelling family could need. The pictures do not begin to do it justice, and the apartment is even more spacious than it appears. The first night of our stay, on Emidio's recommendation, we dined at Osteria dei Pontefici, which is mere steps away from the apartment. The food was excellent and we were happy to have been pointed in the right direction. I would highly recommend this property to any and all visitors to Rome. It is centrally located and travel to all major attractions was easy and quick. I can honestly say without reservations that this apartment is an absolute bargain that includes top-notch hospitality from the owner, and my only regret is not having been able to extend my stay. I will be sure to remedy that with a longer Roman holiday the next time around. My sincerest thanks and commendation to Emidio for a five star stay!"

  • Small but perfect !!!

"My adult daughter and I stayed in this lovely cosy, warm apartment for one week in January. For us everything was perfect. Although the apartment is small, everything you could possibly want was there. Two very comfortable couches, dining table for four, a great bed, terrific shower (and spa if you desire ), tiny but full kitchen with oven, four burner cooktop, dishwasher and microwave. Barbara was amazing. She sat us down and gave us so much information about what to see, how to get around if you needed public transport, and places to eat. The flat is in such a convenient location , we actually walked to everywhere we wanted to go. Even though it is very close to the busy Campo dei Fiori, and right on the corner of Piazza Farnese ,it is so quiet ,we had the best sleep of our three week holiday in Italy. Barbara provided water, juice and milk, and little snacks, tea, coffee, oils and condiments in the kitchen, and soap, lots of toilet paper ,tissues etc in the bathroom.( These things are often NOT proved in apartments like this.) There was also ample washing powder provided for the washing machine. Also very important ,Barbara kept in touch, anxious that we had everything we needed. She provided a cell phone, which we didn't use, but she was also available for any queries via email. WIFI was reliable. There is no lift, and several flights of stairs ,but this reasonably fit 70 year old had no problem at all with them (my daughter carried up the luggage.) Barbara also arranged a driver to take us to the airport, at very reasonable price, on our departure. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this lovely flat, and if I ever get to have yet another holiday in Rome, I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else."

  • A perfect pied-a-terre to explore the Eternal City

"As photographers, my husband and I were looking for a location in the city center that would allow to walk everywhere at all hours without having to depend on public transportation or taxis. We found our perfect location at the Angelina apartment, a stone’s throw away from the Spanish Steps and no more than a 20 minute walk from most of the city’s major attractions. The apartment is a delight – tastefully furnished and decorated but exceptionally comfortable with big, soft sofas to plop into at the end of a long day. The three French windows overlooking the Sant’Andrea delle Fratte church let in the morning light . Since it was December, it was too cold to use the beautiful balcony or the rooftop terrace but in warmer weather these would be perfect for an evening apperitivo as the sun sets over the sienna-colored buildings. The internet and TV worked without a hitch. The kitchen is miniscule but just right to make that early morning cup of coffee or for a late evening snack. With the selections of restaurants that are available in Rome, we did not cook any of our meals at home but certainly the kitchen was well equipped had we wanted to do so. We particularly appreciated that, when we arrived, the refrigerator and kitchen were stocked with all the basics that we required, including milk, bottled water and soft drinks. In any case, there is a very well stocked supermarket just around the corner. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable, and there were plenty of extra pillows and blankets, if necessary. The bathroom was also well laid out. We did not need the loft bed but it would be perfect for a teenager. We also were particularly impressed with the care and attention we received before we even began our trip. Even though we are very experienced travelers, particularly in Italy, we appreciated the literature that was provided regarding the uniqueness of living in Rome. The list of restaurants was also exceedingly helpful and allowed us to discover some new ones that we didn’t know about. Lastly, the car service recommended for pickup on arrival and departure was exceptionally well managed. We were delighted to have discovered the Angelina and fully intend to make it our home base whenever we travel to Rome."
