"We lucked out on this one. This unit could not have been more central to Old Rome and is even featured in the guidebooks. It is beautifully decorated with elegant/expensive furniture and many old artifacts. Michela is a professional hostess who you want to get to know better, yet she leaves you alone unless you have some problem. Everything is perfectly organized and provided for. I've been an owner of several vacation rentals and this one is one of the best I've seen. It's hard to believe the building is over 500 years old but everything is modern and functional (especially air conditioning). While the kitchen and bath are very small, so is everything in Italy except the main rooms which are magnificent. It takes you back in time and made our trip to Rome all the more fulfilling. You cannot pick a better location or apartment to visit old Italy. The stair climb might be a problem for people with disabilities."

"We stayed at the Spanish Steps apartment during our family trip to Rome. I was looking for an alternative to a chain hotel and boy did I get lucky! We (my wife, daughter (13) and Son (8) felt like it was home immediately. The trip began with a professional driver picking us up at the airport and driving us to the apartment. Perfect after a long flight to Rome.
The property manager Rosie and her husband were very helpful. They familiarized us with the apartment and it's amenities.
The location is perfect! A 5 minute walk to the Spanish Steps but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the Spanish Steps and boutiques. There is a grocery store less than a 5 minute walk. It has everything we needed. Most of the sights are within walking distance or a quick cab ride. The Spagna metro station is less than a 10 minute walk. Plenty of restaurants and cafes anywhere from just outside the door step to 15 minute walk. So many choices ranging from coffee shops, a great place for a quick sandwich, casual dining to formal dining.
The owner and his attention to detail were another wonderful part of this property. Everything was professional. We felt that he genuinely cared about or Rome experience. Starting with the information packet you get when you complete the reservation. . The packet is full of valuable information regarding the apartment, restaurants, sights, transportation and much more! It does not end there. The apartment has so many books on Rome, one can't find a similar collection at the best travel section in a bookstore. Plus an ipad mini with all the apps to find even more information.
The apartment has all the modern appliances one needs including a printer to print a boarding pass. The owner even emailed us prior to our departure to help arrange a car service to the airport. So much attention to detail.
The apartment felt like a home away from home. I would highly recommend this property. If we return to Rome, there is no question where we will stay!"

"Honestly, this apartment was perfect for us. It was in a fantastic location and Andrea was responsive, professional and easily reached. Most renters are looking to get the biggest bang for there buck. This is it. I could go on and on about the positives to include incredibly clean and spacious, well decorated, clothes washer, dishwasher, shower, coffee machine, toaster, TV, Wi-fi, etc etc My wife and I had our three teenagers with us. We of course took the master and the oldest and youngest took the other bedroom and the middle child (big 16 year old) took the sofa bed in the living room. No problems with space for the five of us. To be completely fair for those trying to find just the right place for vacationing in Rome, the only negatives were climbing 2 flights of stairs. Neither was really a negative for us with young healthy kids. St Peter’s Dome view from the little terrace of one of the room was also a bonus for us. The public transport was easily accessible to get to downtown Rome and the area was quiet. Thanks again."
