  • Charming place in Trastevere

"My husband and I spent 10 wonderful days in this flat. The views from the terrace were spectacular. It's a small place, but close to everything. The stairs will give you a work out. The neighborhood is wonderful. It's perfect for a couple. You can take the bus to all the sights and there are many things to do right in Trastevere. Museums, palazzos to visit, churches and many wonderful restaurants. Our favorite restaurant was Romolo by the old city wall. And don't miss the convent next to St. Cecelia's where they have the most amazing frescos. ATM's are not plentiful in the area so you'll need to plan ahead. Can't wait to return!"

  • One of the last short term renters :(

"Our experience at this apt and in dealing w/Fiora and Nur were all we (4 adults) needed & wanted. Our time in Rome pre-cruise was fabulous. The location was great & as others stated many conveniences were w/in walking distance. The WIFI was free and speed was great. this allowed us to keep in contact w/home and was a great plus. We had a few minor complaints: the shower upstairs had "major" water pressure issues & @ times there was NO water. This was very annoying when trying to get up and ready for a long day site-seeing. There were many "spit-shine" baths. Not a great way to start our long days. Also, as stated there were not enough wine glasss for 4, but the complimentary wine from Fiora (tyvm) was enjoyed in tumblers and tasted just fine ! :) LOL. The apt was well cared for and was a serene retreat after long days in the streets of Roma. The views were spectacular from all the upstairs terraces. We were told that the neighbors won't allow short term renters anymore, as "noisy Americans" disturb the permanent residents. I felt very uncomfortable hereing this on our arrival, but totally understoond the warning. We were a traveling family of 4 adults and were in by 10pm most nights. We took special care to enter and leave quietly and follow all the rules, however w/such an old building, concrete steps and multiple doors the echos did make even us "church mouses" sound loud. It's a shame other short term visitors will not get to experience this wonderful place. Whomever resides here is in for a most pleasurable stay. Best wishes, Fiora and grazie for letting us share your rental home. Arrivederci !"

  • European senior trip

"Mauro and his staff were incredible! Mauro's prompt answers were much appreciated! The apartment was very clean, comfortable and in a great location. Mauro's rental site page was great, adding airport pick up/drop off was a breeze and they were so accommodating with all our requests. Will let all our family and friends know where to go when renting in Rome:) thanks Mauro!!"

  • Luxury at its best!

"Thank you Simona and Fil for an unforgettable 3 week stay in your exquisite home. The tranquility of the area coupled with the lush "Villa Ada" a stones throw away makes this place a must for anyone with a lust for the finer things in life, the perfect holiday get away. Be it the luxurious apartment in the highly sought after residential quarter of Parioli or the invigorating strolls within one of Romes most beautiful parks in Rome. The Penthouse offers all the luxurious amnenities one could ever dream of. The hustle and bustle of Rome is a lovely walk through another one of Rome's most beautiful parks "Villa Borghese". I am an avid traveller and must say this is the best apartment I have had the priviledge to stay at. It offers everything and anything one could possibly want or need. I am very fortunate to have had such an unforgettable experience and would not think twice about where to stay on my next visit to Rome. Grazie per questa esperienza che non dimentichero' mai! Karima e Marco."

Trevi Travel Tips

Dream Vacations in Rome's Trevi Villas

Trevi villas are in a prime location for the vacation of your dreams. Anyone who has studied Rome knows that it is one of the most historically rich places in the world. Visitors to Trevi villas can usually walk to a plethora of places. The Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, the bridges of Tiber River, and the Spanish Steps are just a few of the must see vacation places.

Choose a Vacation Rental instead of a Hotel

While you can also see these places if you stay in a hotel, being able to relax in a warm home-like atmosphere only enhances the experience. A hotel in a tourist-filled city like Rome tends to be a busy place, full of people who are in a hurry to get somewhere. When renting an apartment for your stay, there is no need to worry about the crowds once you have left the street.

Much to See and Do

Small, fresh-air markets are plentiful in Rome and a great place to buy fresh fruits, vegetables and flowers. Walking around in the markets and getting a feel for the city can be fun as well. Rome vacation rentals can give you a closer to daily life experience for those who are in Rome for the first time.

Join the Party

Many Trevi apartments are specifically described as being made for just one or two people. The quiet atmosphere lends itself to peaceful sleep away from stress as well as a romantic weekend for two. Some Trevi apartments, however, can sleep between four and six people, thus making it a great deal for a group getaway as well. Splitting the costs between all of those who are going will save you all money in the long run.
