"Me and my family had an amazing experience in this house. It was our first time in Rome, and we enjoyed it very much. The house is located in a relatively distant region of Rome, but it is really easy to get on the city center. It is a very quiet place, with beautiful nature around. I especially recommend it for people who enjoy a peaceful stay in big cities."Guest: Luis Fernandes Date of Stay: November 2014 Review Submitted: December 12, 2014View listing
"We shared Daniela's appartamento with another couple and stayed there for 4 nights. The flat is very comfortable for 4 people and 2 bathrooms and the kitchen had everything we needed. It's nice and clean with lots of updates. Daniela met us upon arrival and gave us a lot of helpful information about the area. There is a market right across the street and we made a full use of it buying local meats, cheese, bread and fruits. Some sights will require quite a bit of walking, but we took a bus from and back to the apartment if we felt tired. There are two bus stops, both conveniently located, and the buses run frequently. There is quite a few restaurants in the area if you prefer to have a quiet meal away from the hustle and bustle of Rome's historic center. If you choose to stay at this apartment, I'm sure you will be more than pleased with the level of comfort it provides. Daniela's friendly and easy going personality is an additional bonus."Guest: Marina B. Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: May 29, 2014View listing
"This nice small two level appartment - is best place to have Roman Holiday! The best location ever - just a few steps to all important points from piazza Navona to Colosseum, from St. Peter's Cathedral to Piazza di Spagna. In the appartment there are all necessary facilities for travellers, such as bed and sofa, kitchen, internet+wi-fi for such geeks, as we are. Separate baths - they are very good for time economy)) Two supermarkets and thousand caffeterias are also very close to the door! It was our 10th time in Italy and first time in Rome, and after theat time we fall head over heels in love with this city. Great thanks to Giancarlo and Tony for hospitality, advices, help in transfer from and to the airport! You did our vacation!"Guest: Viktoria F. "I could reiterate all that the previous reviewers have said about this apartment; the apartment and its owner were both wonderful beyond expectation. My husband and I were fortunate enough to spend 2 weeks in this lovely apartment located in a non-touristy neighborhood in southern Rome. This was our second time in Rome, but quite different from our first stay when we did visit most of the tourist spots. This time, we found ourselves just living in the neighborhood, trying to immerse ourselves as best we could in Roman residential life. Almost every day, I went to the farmers' market next to the apartment building to buy food for the day, and to the fabulous Albanesi bakery a couple of blocks away for various types of breads. Sounds simple, but I very much enjoyed just getting to know the neighborhood and observing the residents live their everyday lives. I appreciated becoming somewhat familiar with everyday Roman life, and noticing the residents' taking time to engage with one another in conversation and to enjoy the simple pleasures of life (of which there seem to be many in Italy!). There seems to be a real wisdom in this kind of lifestyle, and a lesson for me to somehow integrate into my too busy life in the States. Giorgio was a most gracious, generous and genuine host. He was very responsive to my questions during our stay, and would e-mail me suggestions of sites to visit. As the other reviewers have stated, he did all he could to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending his apartment to others travelling to Rome, especially to those who want to get a taste of Roman life away from the tourists, and who want to practice their Italian language skills. The apartment is indeed quiet at night; we had no problems sleeping peacefully. The terraces are perfect not only for meals but for reading, writing or just musing on life. Needless to say, I was sad to leave Rome and this apartment, so am hoping for a return visit!"Guest: Toni Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: October 14, 2014View listing
