  • Perfect spot to see Rome

"Husband and I traveled to Rome to visit our son studying abroad for one week. Stayed in one of the most charming areas in Rome - Trastevere; lots of authentic narrow streets, authentic buildings and charming places to eat. We felt so "Roman" living here for one week. Isabella was a charming hostess. Arranged for Salvatore to pick us up from the airport/drop us off at the airport for 50 euros each way; charming gentleman!! The studio is on the 3rd floor away from nightlife street noise. All the basic amenities for a one week stay. We felt safe and secure. Isabella very responsive to or questions(had question about washing machine and she responded promptly. If you are a couple of 2; cant do much better than this!!"

  • Terrific Location, Great Accommodation, Helpful Owner

"My wife and I stayed in Paola’s apartment for four nights in September 2014 while visiting Rome. We were very happy with the accommodations (the bed is comfortable and we felt very secure in the neighborhood). Paola was also extremely helpful providing guidance purchasing a Roma pass, finding restaurants and visiting “must see” parts of the city. The apartment is also very conveniently located. It’s about a five minute walk to a metro station and a twenty minute walk from the train station (take the Leonardo Express from and to the airport). Once settled in we found ourselves walking everywhere. There are many reasonably priced restaurants close by and we enjoyed the food. Monti is populated by Italians (not a lot of tourists) and that is just what we were looking for. So.. I would highly recommend staying with Paola if you are planning to visit Rome."

  • An absolute Jewel of an experience

"The Green Apartments offers a centrally located venue that is clean, private, and friendly. The (2) rooms of our apartment are larger in comparison to what you would expect in any Hotel in Rome. Clean, Modern/Well Maintained, Air Conditioned (this is a rare pleasure in Rome), with a Full Kitchen. Saved us hundreds as we tried to eat in as often as was convenient. Silverware, Plates, Pots-Pans, and a Euro coffee pot were available for our use. There is also a private patio with tables and chairs on the same level, great atmosphere for sipping a little wine after a long day of touristing. Wi-Fi was available at no additional charge. Management (Andrea) was fantastic, and his staff was great too. Everyone's English was perfect. Offered us advise on eats and transport, was always available by phone and checked in on us several times during our visit. The apartments are a 10 to 15 minute walk to the Coliseum, and both the "A" and "B": Metro lines are close by as well. I highly recommend this apartment, this comes from a 4 time visitor to Rome. I will be sure to return myself."

  • My Roman Holiday

"I was traveling solo for several weeks in Italy, and I spent two nights in this apartment in Rome. First, the location is fantastic. It is steps from Campo de Fiori, which is a market for flowers, fresh fruits and vegetables, olive oils, etc. It is a short walk to Piazza Navona and other wonderful sights. Franco met me at the apartment to go over the details, and he walked me around the neighborhood so I could be oriented. The apartment itself is lovely. It is located on the main floor of a nice building with an exterior door that stays locked for extra security. There is a beautiful entrance hall leading to the apartment. Inside, there is a foyer, a sitting area, a bedroom, kitchen and spacious bathroom. This apartment had the biggest bathroom of my stay. As an added bonus, there is a washer/dryer. Also clear instructions were left for the TV and washer. There were maps, books, and special extras that made staying here comfortable. Communication was excellent before and during my stay. I would highly recommend this apartment for people staying in Rome. Thank you, Sonia, for making my time in Rome comfortable and fun!"
