  • Absolutely Fabulous!!

"I want to say thank you to Enrico and Corrado! Our trip to Rome was heightened thanks to them and the beautiful apartment we rented from them! Corrado is the one I worked with for the booking. He was great! I had to move my trip up by a day and he was completely flexible and accommodating! He also arranged transportation to and from Fiumicino for us. Our driver was so sweet! I only wish I had gotten his name! When we arrived at the property, Enrico met us at the van. He was very informative and helpful! He also ran up 5 flights of stairs so that I could take the lift with my luggage! What a great guy!! The location of the apartment was perfect! We were less than 10 minutes walking distance to St. Peter's and the view of the dome from our terrace was something I could get used to! The apartment itself was outstanding! The beds were very comfortable, as were the couches. I honestly have no complaints about anything! Enrico and Corrado were such a pleasure to do business with! I hope I'll be able to rent this property again on my next trip to Rome! Grazie Mille!!!"

  • Nice apartment near Vatican

"We stayed at this property over Christmas 2014 and have mostly positive feedback. The booking process was easy and Francesca was responsive to any questions we had, which was great! A couple of weeks before we were to travel, I had inquired about something and received a response from Krystel, who identified herself as an associate of Francesca's, so I didn't think anything of it. Krystel met us near the train station to walk us to the apartment, which we appreciated very much. On our way, I was surprised to hear that Francesca no longer owns the property, Krystel said she works for the new owner, but that Francesca was still involved because of when we booked. It made me a little uneasy because we were unaware of that, but Krystel assured me that everything was fine and the agreement was the same, (which it was). Krystel said that the owner's grandson was getting the apartment ready but she was needed to help with the translating. We arrived at the apartment (10 minute walk from the metro). The grandson gave us a tour and answered some questions. We were given a piece of paper with some information on it, but more info in writing would have definitely been helpful - basic directions to things, etc. The apartment was nicely appointed and there was even a small Christmas tree, which was very nice and made it feel homey. The bathroom that has the washer and dryer in it and the hydrotub does not have a shower curtain, so I'm not sure why it's advertised as being a shower. The dryer was very infefficient, (even though we followed the instructions and emptied the water basin underneath, and cleaned the lint trap with each load) - in fact, we had better luck hang drying items! Like another person mentioned, there was a slight sewer like smell in that same bathroom, and the toilet did not always flush. We had a couple of issues in that the power went out twice - first time because they forgot to mention we shouldn't use more than a couple of electronic devices at the same time which was easily remedied by flipping the switch, and again on Christmas Day (whole building) and we had a hard time reaching Krystel to ask for flashlight (we had to buy) and we had to buy a wine opener after searching the entire kitchen and not finding one. Also, some silverware was dirty in the drawer, which wasn't pleasant. Baccanale 59 was a WONDERFUL restaurant, and right down the block. Great location. Nice apartment, just hope they fix a few things!"

  • Very Nice Stay in this Spacious Apartment

"My husband and I stayed for 5 days in September and were delighted to find everything to be exactly as represented. The apartment is located so conveniently to the Vatican entrance, markets, family style restaurants and fine dining; anything you need. We felt safe, comfortable and quite at home. Others have commented about the street noise from buses, but we did not find it bothersome. It is just part of being in the city and you do not notice it or you can wear ear plugs, but we did not. The public transportation was easy to conveniently use...getting anywhere around town. The owner is prompt, reliable and accommodating. His daughter who lives next door is a delightful person who was helpful with checking in and getting us acclimated."

  • Ahh Roma!

"My 21 yr. old daughter and I visited Rome for the first time. Roberta and Alessandro are the perfect hosts, from the first correspondence by email to the one this morning checking that we got back home safely, they arranged a lovely holiday. The apartment is in a perfect location, you walk out the door and are at the Vatican in 3 minutes, 5 if you stop for an espresso! We walked to the Spanish steps, the Pantheon, the Colosseum.....every where. The accommodations are perfect, comfortable bed, hot shower, plus everything you need in a home away from home,(we own a vacation rental ourselves so we know what it takes.) Fresh flowers and a few special dietary items I needed were exception touches. I must give at least one recommendation for our favorite restaurant, Sorpasso on Via Properzio 31 we had lunch there twice and were amazed by the eggplant parm. and an memorable trapizzino filled with an delicious Rosemary chicken. Gelato, pizza and espresso, I miss you already! I highly recommend this apartment, not only for location, but because Roberta and Alex make sure every detail is perfect! We especially appreciated their driver taking us to and from the airport. Ciao!"
