"The location was perfect!! You are less than a mile from the Vatican and if your feeling very adventurous like us you can walk on over to the Colosseum! I never got a chance to meet Michela but her parents gave us the keys to the place and were very sweet! There is also a laundry mat down the street that does your laundry for 8 euro and your only a few blocks from all the great little cafes and shops. We really enjoyed our stay and walked everywhere without taking a taxi! only thing we had a little issue with was the noise, the bedroom is above the entrance so you can hear people slamming the doors. Thanks for having us!"

"After flying all night, Giuseppe's warm welcome and orientation to the neighborhood was greatly appreciated. My daughter, her 2 adult children and I were delighted with the stylish contemporary decor and spaciousness of the Rigoletto. A super market and several good restaurants were nearby. Public transportation was convenient and the residential neighborhood was an oasis from our rigorous days of sight seeing. It was a 5 star stay and I heartily recommend the Rigoletto to travelers to Rome."

"My daughter and I were visiting Rome for the first time. The apartment is located on a tree-lined street with convenient access to the Vatican, restaurants, Metro. Upon arrival, we found the place clean and containing everything you need for an extended stay. The building is quaint (built in the mid- to late-1800s) and even includes an old-style elevator/lift. But what really made the trip a good experience was working with Andrea. He is very responsive to email requests and arranged transportation for us to and from the airport. Although Andrea was unavailable for our apartment orientation, his colleague Guilia met us and gave us a tour and answered our questions. She did an excellent job. This was first-class all the way and I would not hesitate to recommend Andrea and his property to anyone."

"Our family of four (two adults plus kids ages 9 and 10) stayed here for three nights. The apartment itself is very nice and well-kept, a good size for our family. The location is very convenient to the Vatican, with about a ten minute walk to the Vatican Museum entrance and about twenty minutes to St. Peter's Square. The garden provided a relaxing spot to rest in the afternoon after sightseeing. There are a couple of supermarkets within easy walking distance, convenient for families trying to save a little money by eating some meals in. The incredible Mercato Trionfale is about five minutes' walk away and is highly recommended as a place to buy all sorts of interesting produce, cheeses, meats, breads, etc. For gelato try Millenium located between the Vatican wall and the Cipro metro stop.
The host, Mary, was exceedingly helpful and generous with her time. She provided us with an excellent dinner on our arrival, printed out our museum tickets, and drove us to the airport when we left. She was truly wonderful.
One small thing to be aware of: The loft and the living room (where the fold-out bed is) communicate via a balcony, so noises travel easily. This was not a problem for us but may be something to consider if your kids are easily disturbed while sleeping."
