  • Excellent Apartment and Delightful Neighbourhood

"We just spent 2 weeks in Rome in Daniela's apartment. We had a great time. The apartment is very comfortable for 2 people. The photos are accurate - but were probably done when the apartment was just renovated and painted. There is some sign of wear and tear now and perhaps it would benefit from a fresh coat of paint soon. This did not in any way detract from our experience or comfort. There is also a bit of clutter including left over bottles of various products from previous visitors. The neighbourhood is a great feature for this apartment. When you look at the neighbourhood on Google, it might not look that great. However there are a lot of hidden gems. First of all, it is very quiet. The surrounding buildings are a medical clinic, 3 or 4 religious residences, and 1 other apartment building. The only noise is occasional street noise and garbage pick up often at 1 or 2 am. There are some really outstanding restaurants all within 1-2 blocks. Club Machiavelli was our favourite. This is imaginative food made with passion! We went there 3 times. If you do go there, please tell the owner that a Canadian couple recommended it. We chatted with the owner a few times. Trattoria Vecchia Roma is very popular with locals and we really enjoyed it. Right next door to the apartment is Caronte. Excellent cocktails. In Rome many places have a sort of "happy hour" where you get a cocktail and free appetizers. At Caronte, you get little tasters of the main courses for the evening. We went there for dinner a couple of times. The menu is more eclectic and is a nice change from the standard Italian menu. Baia Chia is also right next door to the apartment. They specialize in Sardinian style and their seafood is superb. We tried a few other restaurants in other parts of Rome but never found anything nearly as good as the restaurants right in our block! We also used the Norcineria e Gastronomia Cecchini. This is a delicatessen on the corner. They have a great variety of hot and cold dishes that you can take home for a prepared dinner. There is everything you need, including wine. We really enjoyed having a gourmet meal on our patio watching the sun going down. We also enjoyed having Aperol cocktails on the patio along with some tasty cheese from the Gastronomia. For groceries, there are 2 supermarkets within a block that have everything you need. Despar at 1 Via Guicciardin and Conad just of Merulana. We highly recommend this apartment!"

  • Beautiful Apartment, Excellent location and 5 Star Service

"Cory and Guisy provided us with an immaculate, well-appointed and stylish place from which to explore Rome. Although the apartment is located steps away from the bustling Campo di Fiori, we were able to duck into our peaceful courtyard at any moment to escape and rest in our lovely apartment. It was like having a key to Gramercy Park. The market was full every morning with the smells of fresh bread and bursting with flowers even in December. We bought a tiny tree for our apartment just in time for Christmas Eve. The best pizza and bakeries were located in or near the square of Campo di Fiori We loved Roscioli Bakery for picking up pastries in the morning but the Roscioli restaurant was full every night. I wish we had made reservations. The reviews were fantastic and it looked cozy and full of locals. One of our children wasn't feeling well and Cory could not have been more helpful. He checked on us frequently offering help finding a doctor. The notebooks and guidebooks in the apartment were so organized and full of great suggestions. Wifi worked really well. We loved that each bedroom had a bathroom. Booking and checking out were a breeze. We will definitely rent from Rome for the Holidays again and would recommend this group to anyone traveling in Italy."

  • Super apartment in Piazza Navona

"This fantastic apartment near Piazza Navona is in the best location! The street is so authentic and you can eat in wonderful restaurants right in front of your apartment. The apartment is spacious and has all of the amenities you need - including a washer and dryer. Two bed rooms and two bathrooms meant our family of 5 could spread out. We slept comfortably and enjoyed cooking dinners and gathering around the dining room table. I only wish we had stayed longer than three days!"

  • very cozy and nice!

"Thank you very much for the time being in Rome. We did like very much the apartment – it is cozy and lovely and surroundings as well, everything was perfect and even my mama 78 years old overcame 32 steps to get home every day. There are shops, bars, restorants, vegetable market everything are close to the apartment. The map is useful and nice gift from Andrea. By evenings we liked to read albums and books with your shows and beutiful pictures. Irina also was very helpful and very nice person!"
