"My daughter and I came back form our 7 nights vacation to Rome. It was my second time in Rome; my daughter's first. We have an amazing time. The apartment is exactly like in the pictures. Spacious, really well maintained, clean, super safe, and updated with a great working AC. Tony is an amazingly thoughtful person. He left us a small cellphone with his number saved in it that we could carry with us and reach him in case of any thing, really. he left transformers in the apartment in case we didn't have some with us. We did but for him to have thought of that was super nice. A bottle of Chianti was also waiting for us. So was bottled water and orange juice! Even though we ate mostly out, we did have to cook once, and the kitchen came with everything, even pasta, olive oil all and spices! The bed was super comfortable. the towels in the bathroom were thick and long (unlike the ones you usually get in a European Hotel). We had absolutely everything we could have wanted and needed. The apartment is on a quiet street, 5 min walk to St Peter's Square, which was a treat for we got to see it in the morning light, in the amber afternoon light, at dusk and during the night. It was our special way of ending every day. There are supermarkets and little cafes within walking distance of the apartment. An open market as well. Bus stop, train stop...it is truly most convenient. The taxi that Tony arranged for us to come from with airport with (and back to the airport on departure day, as well as one other morning when we had to catch a bus in PIazza del Popolo) was fantastic. The driver was pleasant, always early and super reliable. If you want a worry-free vacation, stay in this place. Carina and I will most certainly return here and my mother is already planning her trip here next summer.Thank you Giancarlo, Tony and Mr. Puang for a great week. See you again soon. Mille grazie! "In a few words: Perfect location and great value for money. It is in a central area, with easy access to all the key touristic locations of Rome. The apartment is spacious and the interiors are decorated with a nice and modern feel. We slept very well and all the amenities you may wish for a city holiday are there (Wi-Fi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher, coffee machine, etc.). I would definitely recommend this place for a city trip."

"We have just returned from a ten day visit to Roma, our first overseas trip ever. The apartment was such a boon to us. The central location was outstanding, the building has character and is well kept up. The location of the apartment, near the Vatican, the metro and good shopping and dining, was just as advertised and took a lot of stress away for us first time "do it yourself" travelers.
The apartment is as advertised. Yes, there are a lot of stairs, but you only go up and down them twice a day and the way you eat in Italy they will help keep you from gaining weight. The washing machine and kitchen were so nice to have. The bed is firm and comfortable, and my son, who is 6 foot 2 inches, was able to sleep well on the pull out sofa. The WiFi works very well, and the area and building are safe and secure.
We found that, while it was nice to eat out a few times, most days it was less stressful to make our way home and cook a leisurely meal. Carolyn and Gerry are just great. We enjoyed getting to know them via email. They provided truly excellent info on the area and on getting by in Roma. We found the experience of living in the apartment instead of in a hotel to be priceless. We went everywhere on foot and by metro and train, and we learned far more about the people that we would have if we had been confined to a packaged tour."

"This is our second stay at Chez Nana in Roma. It was just as good as the previous year. It is spacious for an apartment in Roma with plenty of comfort. It is close to transportation and walking distance to the Vatican. We had 11 adults in our group that loved the accommodations. Well maintained, and plenty of hot water. We will utilize this apartment every visit we have to the eternal city.
