  • Perfect Penthouse!

"This clean and updated apartment was a perfect spot to see tourist attractions in Rome-close to the Metro and walking distance from many sites. The layout is a bit quirky (because a renovation of an older style) but very comfortable. It is on a quiet street so you feel as if you are temporarily a resident, not a tourist. Chiara is lovely; she will give you tips on good restaurants in the area. We loved it!"

  • Extraordinary

"The previous reviews say it all, I just wanted to confirm them. This was our second time to stay here and it is awesome! Not plush and no breakfast or room service like the nearby Eden, Sofitel & Splendide Royale but if you can do without those, then this is an incredible experience. Grocery shopping is convenient & fun if you choose to cook in the well equipped kitchen. There are ample nearby restaurants, including fabulous take out to be consumed on the marvelous patio - a myriad of great dining options. Work off the calories in the nearby Borghese Park. 2 nice bathrooms with American style showers and 3 good a/c units for the warmer months. Thanks to Alessandra & Enrico for sharing their penthouse, we intend to return."

  • Fantastic terrace apartment

"So glad I chose this place to stay in. Booked the apartment for 3 days in mid July. The pictures do not do the apartment justice, especially the terrace, yes it's long and thin but we spent more time out there than we did anywhere else. The only reason I gave it a 4 star was because there was a futon instead of an actual bed, although its a full double sized futon would still have preferred a bed, other than that the apartment is great, and the other 2 rooms especially the master bedroom that also leads out onto the terrace is huge. The kitchen is very small but to be honest with so much great food and, cafes etc.. you really wont need to use it. There is a huge supermarket nearby, loads of great restaurants and cafe's on the same road and the side roads, the train and bus station is easily reached on foot (10min casual walk) We walked from the apartment onto Via Nationale and onwards onto Piazza Venezia and so on, all these places really aren't that far on foot (and this was in the 29 degree heat) as they may appear on the map. Can't wait to get back to Rome and stay here again. Rome really is amazing."

  • The Best Place to stay in Roma

"I have had occasion to stay in two of the Arnaldi family properties this year and I am always delighted. This was my second stay in this apartment and it was even better this time as the owner tastefully renovated the bathroom ( plenty of hot water). The neighborhood is an authentic family oriented area. I saw many grandparents pushing baby carriages and of course they were beautifully dressed. The location near the train station, buses and Piazza della Repubblica is incredibly convenient. It is a short walk to all the famous Roman sights and a relief to return to the quiet and safety of the apartment after a day of touring; to a glass of wine on the terrace and it's garden plants. The area is rife with restaurants, trattorias and bars. There are also many artisanal food stores to buy cheese, and wine and ready made takeout Italian style. And the brothers Niccolo and Stefano are very attentive to their clients and know a lot of the history of the area. They are the best owners to deal with. The apartment is beautifully appointed and with the large window and doors to the terrace is full of light. The bed must be new as it is firm and comfortable. Also provided in the adorable kitchen are some spices and herbs and plenty of good pots if you wish to cook.I intend to return again next year and as the Italian language school is a 20 minute walk, to learn this beautiful language. Returning to a hotel lobby with a beautiful elevator to the top floor is a great bonus."
