  • wanderful place expecially for groups

"This is not our first time in Santa Barbara and we will come back as soon as possible. We just love this country and appreciate this farmhouse which offers unique features. The rooms are clean and charming but the best is the magical fireplace where we can stay enchanted for hours talking with friends or just resting. The large table let us taste and enjoy the local delicacies all together! The owners are helpful, friendly and and nice. We heartily recommend this place!"

  • Good situation, calm building. Needs a deep cleaning. The bedroom is small. Very good owner.

  • A perfect pied-a-terre to explore the Eternal City

"As photographers, my husband and I were looking for a location in the city center that would allow to walk everywhere at all hours without having to depend on public transportation or taxis. We found our perfect location at the Angelina apartment, a stone’s throw away from the Spanish Steps and no more than a 20 minute walk from most of the city’s major attractions. The apartment is a delight – tastefully furnished and decorated but exceptionally comfortable with big, soft sofas to plop into at the end of a long day. The three French windows overlooking the Sant’Andrea delle Fratte church let in the morning light . Since it was December, it was too cold to use the beautiful balcony or the rooftop terrace but in warmer weather these would be perfect for an evening apperitivo as the sun sets over the sienna-colored buildings. The internet and TV worked without a hitch. The kitchen is miniscule but just right to make that early morning cup of coffee or for a late evening snack. With the selections of restaurants that are available in Rome, we did not cook any of our meals at home but certainly the kitchen was well equipped had we wanted to do so. We particularly appreciated that, when we arrived, the refrigerator and kitchen were stocked with all the basics that we required, including milk, bottled water and soft drinks. In any case, there is a very well stocked supermarket just around the corner. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable, and there were plenty of extra pillows and blankets, if necessary. The bathroom was also well laid out. We did not need the loft bed but it would be perfect for a teenager. We also were particularly impressed with the care and attention we received before we even began our trip. Even though we are very experienced travelers, particularly in Italy, we appreciated the literature that was provided regarding the uniqueness of living in Rome. The list of restaurants was also exceedingly helpful and allowed us to discover some new ones that we didn’t know about. Lastly, the car service recommended for pickup on arrival and departure was exceptionally well managed. We were delighted to have discovered the Angelina and fully intend to make it our home base whenever we travel to Rome."
