  • Great apartment and a lovely host!

"My family of four (two adults and two grown kids) spent a wonderful week in Rome with Marta's apartment in Trastevere as our base of operations. Marta arranged for our pickup at the airport and was at the apartment to greet us when we arrived. She oriented us to the neighborhood and provided expert tips on where to eat, shop, etc. The apartment is beautifully designed, combining new finishes with antique authenticity, and spotless. It e is perfectly located: Trastevere is a happening part of town with many restaurants and bars. It attracts crowds every night and can be quite boisterous but Marta's place is around a corner in a charming, quiet little alleyway. We were never bothered by noise from the crowds. Most of the major historical sites are walkable from Trastevere, though there is a convenient taxi stand just a couple of blocks from the apartment. We will return here whenever we come to Rome and recommend Marta's place highly for a party of four or fewer."

"I recommend this house near the beach air conditioned and wi fi. Fregene is a quiet place to relax and in only 30 minutes you are in Rome. Everything worked perfect, booking, payment, transport to and from airport. The apartment is perfect for 2-4 people. We really enjoyed to have a garden to sit outside in the warm evenings and enjoy a glass of italian wine. I’ll surely return here!"

  • Good Location

"Lombardia was clean comfortable and well located. The living area was a little on the small side, and the kitchen fittings were a bit below average, but the area was quiet. The greeter Gian Lucca was charming. We had an issue when we arrived and it was handled quickly and efficiently by the team managing the property."

  • Home away from home

"I spent two moths in this apartment and must admit it was a perfect choice. The place is modern, spacey and bright, which normally is not the case with the apartments in the narrow streets of old Rome. As it is stated in the description, the staircase is steep and might be a challenge for people with limited mobility. In the apartment ou will find there all the necessary things like kitchen utensils, linens, towels, iron and ironing board etc. The internet works very well as well. A huge wardrobe in the bedroom gives you plenty of storage space as well. The bathroom and the shower cabin are large. There was some trouble with the water pressure during my stay (due to the high calcium content in Roman water) but Chiara solved the problem right away sending the plumber to fix it. There is no washing machine, which could be useful for a longer stay, but there is a very efficient and inexpensive laundry downstairs, just couple of steps from the apartment. Both the living room and the bedroom are equipped with a AC/heating unit, so you can set your desired temperature and depending on the season warm the place up or cool it down within a couple of minutes. The location is probably the biggest advantage. I cannot imagine being placed more central. It is just off Piazza del Fico – with the legendary Bar del Fico 20 meters from the entrance. And yes, it means a lot of noise in the evenings, especially on the weekends, but the bedroom is facing the other side of the building, a silent courtyard so the outside activity does not bother you if you want to sleep. And it feels so good just to get out of the building and be right in the middle of the action! There are two small supermarkets three minutes walk from the house. And obviously there are plenty of good restaurants around as well. It is a very short stroll of Piazza Navona and only a couple of minutes on foot from the Vatican, Panteon or Campo di Fiori. An excellent place!"
