  • Treasure Found in the Heart of Rome- Too bad there is not a 10 STAR option :)

"Review #10692958 “Treasure Found in the Heart of Rome- Too bad there is not a 10 STAR option :)” This wonderful apartment in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by everything you need! Grocery, restaurants, pharmacy, shopping, Gelato all within walking distance! It is a quick walk to the Coliseum , and a beautiful walk all the way to the Vatican, with all the history and shopping in-between. The owner Marmi Fuentebella was a true diamond for a foreign traveler not familiar with Rome. She set my daughter and I up with a wonderful , personal tour guide Maria Teresa Ferrari, who actually tailored the tour based on what we wanted to see and learn. We were able to skip some of the more difficult lines and processes, it was all sorted for us. It was so worth the few extra $ from both a time, relationship and target perspective. We felt like we were with family. Another special event Marmi set up for us was a dinner at a wonderful Villa outside of Rome. If you have the opportunity for a homemade Italian Country Dinner , at a B&B Villa it is so worth it, and all for about the same cost a as dinner in the city. Leslie Poleri is an amazing chef, with a warm wonderful house, plus a really cool Etruscan cave. We left Rome, blessed, happy and well taken care of. The apartment was wonderful, and we have some new friends for our next visit. If there was room for 10 stars I would post a such.. Now go book it, enjoy this wonderful city, amazing hospitality, with a trusted advisor, and friend."

  • Wonderful B&B in a great location

"My boyfriend and I stayed for 4 nights at Cuscino e Cappuccino and had a great time. Paolo is very helpful and arranged for a car to pick us up from the airport which was wonderful since we were tired from a long day of traveling. We stayed in the Stanza Blu which was very comfortable, clean, and quiet. Breakfast was always delicious and a great way to start a busy day of sightseeing in Rome. Paolo gave us great excellent recommendations for places to eat and advice on sightseeing. We hope to come back again soon!"

  • Loved My Stay!

"Maurizio is a truly wonderful host with great taste. I had stayed in one of his other places in the past and loved it. Beautifully decorated with art and furnishings from his world travels and very warm and comforting as well. Not to mention the good quality linens and amazing bathrooms, completely renovated with great water pressure (highly unusual in Rome rentals). Perfectly clean. After staying in the is neighborhood once, I don't even consider any other area of Rome for a quality stay (and I have been traveling to Rome for 30 years). Comfortably walking you can see all the major sites by foot...from the Colosseo, Spanish Steps, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and work your way back through Trastevere with a short walk along the river (lovely in the evening) and be home to a great safe neighborhood where locals eat (without the crazy touristy prices). I am a real foodie and the best butchers and bakeries and Testaccio market are wonderful and having a place to cook a little is a huge plus. My favorite coffee bars and restaurants are all in Testaccio as well. Highly recommended in every way. I can't wait to come back! Thank You Maurizio for your hospitality!"

  • The Best Place to stay in Roma

"I have had occasion to stay in two of the Arnaldi family properties this year and I am always delighted. This was my second stay in this apartment and it was even better this time as the owner tastefully renovated the bathroom ( plenty of hot water). The neighborhood is an authentic family oriented area. I saw many grandparents pushing baby carriages and of course they were beautifully dressed. The location near the train station, buses and Piazza della Repubblica is incredibly convenient. It is a short walk to all the famous Roman sights and a relief to return to the quiet and safety of the apartment after a day of touring; to a glass of wine on the terrace and it's garden plants. The area is rife with restaurants, trattorias and bars. There are also many artisanal food stores to buy cheese, and wine and ready made takeout Italian style. And the brothers Niccolo and Stefano are very attentive to their clients and know a lot of the history of the area. They are the best owners to deal with. The apartment is beautifully appointed and with the large window and doors to the terrace is full of light. The bed must be new as it is firm and comfortable. Also provided in the adorable kitchen are some spices and herbs and plenty of good pots if you wish to cook.I intend to return again next year and as the Italian language school is a 20 minute walk, to learn this beautiful language. Returning to a hotel lobby with a beautiful elevator to the top floor is a great bonus."
