  • Roomy, Great Location, Great Views!

"Despite an initial small glitch in connecting with Daniella at the train station, the rest of our stay at Casa Chiara was wonderful! It's really in a perfect location, just a short walk to everything in town, including the train station. The entire upper level of the Casa feels so light and airy and roomy. It feels like you are staying in a family home because of the comfortable décor and family photos on the walls. There was a slight flushing problem with one of the commodes because the plumbing is dated, but after we figured out how to do it, it was fine. Although we did not cook because there are so many restaurants to try, the kitchen is adequately equipped. Five adults had plenty of room. Daniella was available if there were any problems."

  • Luxury Escape

"Casa Leopoldo exceeded the expectations of the two families who enjoyed the beauty and sophistication of this wonderful villa for seven days. Designer luxury, beautiful gardens and the most wonderful hill top location had me constantly reaching for the camera. We delighted in the hospitality of Luisa and her wonderful mother who cooked for us and led a cooking class. The close proximity to the village allowing us to purchase local meat, wine and produce was an added benefit. The short drive to Sestri Levante for a swim and leisurely meal or the train to Cinque Terre allowed us to experience the wonderful coast before retreating to the peace and quite of the villa. This felt like a bucket list holiday and I would recommend Casa Leopoldo without hesitation."

  • Beautiful house in a peaceful setting

"We had a very nice week in this beautiful house. It is cozy and quite newly renovated. It is situated very peaceful on one Monterosso's northern end, yet it is only 100 metres to the sea and 400 metres to the train station. The beach is nice and very suitable for small children. We could go everywhere using the train. There are also good restaurants for every taste and some small shops to buy the basic groceries you need - and a small but very good market on Thursdays. It was still very warm in October, though it rained every day but only 5-10 minutes each (only on one day for 4 hours). So this did not really bother us. The only problem about this was that due to the high humidity the wet clothes did not dry during the whole week. And there were really a lot of midges. We suggest to install mosquito nets at some windows so that you can get fresh air without midges :-)"
