  • Beyond all expectations!

"From introductions to salutations, our experience with Angelo, Paula and her family was the highlight to our vacation in Italy. The villa is a stones' throw from town and perfectly set into the hillside so that mornings and evenings are left to a very peaceful glass of wine or breakfast coffee. The ability to pull fresh tomatoes off the vines and visit the chickens in the morning for fresh eggs made for breakfasts to remember forever. We took full advantage of the touring bikes provided and slipped down to the train station for morning hikes along Cinque Terre. We also used the bikes to shop for fresh groceries when we decided to use the BBQ and make a home cooked meal or two. The addition of a boat tour was in our plans but weather pushed it off the schedule. Wish we could have joined the group - the tours on the seas are world class. Thanks Paula, Angelo, and Valentina! Dan - Brenda and Devin."

  • Lovely Villa Overlooking the Italian Riveria

"Lovely villa with spectacular view overlooking the western coast of Italy. Great location - 15 min by train to northern-most town of Cinque Terre, 45 min from Portofino, 3 hrs from Lake Como, 3.5 hrs from Monte Carlo, 1.5 hrs from Florence. Property is an attached 2 family with 4 floors (includes level 0 garage on ground level). Elevator available for levels 1 and 2. Owner lives with his family in the attached property. Vincenzo is a gracious host always available to answer any questions - location of market and grocery store, navigating and understanding parking rules, how/where to board the train, find the local restaurants, distance of other towns and villages...He even had us follow him to town and help us get a parking space near the train station! Spotlessly clean with kitchen fully furnished. We were here with 2 other couples and would highly recommend."

  • 1 week summer holiday with teenagers

"Casa Bosco has rustic charm - accommodation is spacious and the house was equipped with everything we required. The garden offered a flat grass area to play football on , and a decking area as a pleasant place in which to sit and relax but it's only a short walk into the busy town of Chiavari . Although there are beaches locally and along the coast too, we weren't able to find a good sandy beach - at the time we visited all were very crowded and the vast majority are sectioned off by hotels who charge for access to a sun bed . The small strips of public beach were in our experience poorly maintained. However if you are looking for more than a beach holiday there are plenty of places to visit in the area & Chiavari itself is much more than a tourist town - you feel you are seeing the real Liguria . Jennifer was extremely welcoming, kind and helpful - it was good to have her on hand to answer any questions about the house or area and she dealt with a Wifi problem quickly and efficiently ."
