Recent Piedmont reviews

  • Excellent Stay in Piedmont!

"We just loved our recent stay at Cascina La Famo! We stayed there for 6 days in October, 2014. The apartment itself had everything we needed. It was very clean, comfortable and beautiful. It's a very peaceful and scenic location, surrounded by hazelnut trees and vineyards. We spent a lot of time enjoying the immediate area, with it's friendly wine producers and hilltop villages. It was also a really short drive to Alba, Asti and the barolo wine producing region. Their is also a very convenient supermarket minutes away by car if ever you want to stay home in the evenings and cook some food to pair with the wine(s) you bought that day. An excellent local butcher and traditional grocery shop can also be found walking distance from the apartment in the nearby village. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful and provided us with excellent suggestions! Wish we could have stayed longer. We really look forward to our next stay there!"

Bruno Travel Tips

Taste the Flavor of Bruno from Bruno Vacation Rentals

Like all of Piedmont, Bruno is deep in Italian wine country. Because it is only 20 kilometers from Asti, Bruno is a place where you can sample Asti Spumante, a white sparkling wine made from Moscato Bianco grapes and served with dessert. While Bruno itself is a small village, you can journey to nearby Asti and experience the best in Piedmont cuisine and wine at eateries like Locanda Astesana, Garibaldi or circolo al pino. Most are small restaurants, but offer a relaxed atmosphere and perfect dining experience for families.

If wine is not your thing, another option is the CioccolaTò chocolate fair in Piedmont. Held annually in March, the fair offers a sampling of fine chocolates from local chocolate producers like Domori, Caffarel, Bessoni and Gobino and it is a great chance to take in local color from our Piedmont villas.

Savor the Outdoors with Bruno Vacation Rentals

The entire Piedmont region, of which Bruno is a part, is surrounded on three sides by the Alps. A combination of altitude and frequent snow has caused the region to become a world-class destination for skiers. Indeed, Piedmont acted as a host site for several ski races during the 2006 Winter Olympics held in Torino. A tourist using Bruno accommodations will find this part of Northern Italy features 53 ski resorts, 1,300 kilometers of runs, and over 300 installations comprising aerial tramways, cableways, chair lifts and ski lifts.

Enjoy Solitude through Bruno Vacation Rentals

As a quaint Italian commune in the heart of the Piedmont region, Bruno can offer a quaint getaway for any tourist through Bruno vacation rentals. With a population of less than 400 people, spending time in Bruno puts a tourist right in the midst of rural Northern Italy. If you are the outdoors type, this is a perfect place to explore the Italian countryside.
