"Fabulous setting in beautifully restored home. Great kitchen and dining area, comfortable beds and plenty of bathrooms. Drive by farms and vineyards to arrive at quiet, peaceful refuge after exploring the area! New, large inground pool just steps from home!"

"We were two families, 5 adults and 4 kids, Dennis and Gilly made our stay so relaxed and comfortable. It was a hot week, and the wonderful pool was all the entertainment the children needed. They did not leave the villa for three days!
Dennis and Gilly helped with some wonderful restaurant recommendations, where we had some very memorable meals. Vasco's place is a must do!!
The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, and we enjoyed the living areas through our stay. We cooked some great barbecues and enjoyed all the outdoor space as well.
The children enjoyed the pasta making class the Dennis and Gilly hosted and organised. It was one of the highlights of their stay.
Dennis and Gilly are wonderful and generous hosts, and were very thankful for the one night of babysitting Gilly offered us for a fantastic adult meal out!!
All in all, a fantastic week in Tuscany!"

"This apartment is in the centre of one of the most beautiful and unspoiled hilltop towns in the world. Luckily it is not a tourist magnet (no coachloads of people spilled into the streets) and during our time there we felt part of the community and often talked casually with the citizens, who meet each other casually in the town square during most days. We happened to be in town for Scampanata, a social event that happens in May every 5 years and involves covering a (willing) victim in flour chocolate etc. The town is in easy reach of Florence, Arrezzo, Siena etc. but has enough charm to keep you from straying. Magical."

"My first impression at the cottage was how high up we were. You can see for miles. And it is an unspoilt view. Incredible. The cottage is delightful. A lovely large bedroom and bed. The living room has a fire which we lit on several occasions as it was still very much spring. It was so romantic. The bathroom is good with an excellent shower. The kitchen well equipped - including silver teapot! How smart. And the welcome we got was fabulous. Our hosts were the warmest you could hope for. Thanks to them we discovered villages we would have missed. They have a great selection of guide books for when you want to explore. But equally it is wonderful to have time relaxing here and sniffing the air. We would love to return in summer so we can see what it is like with all the leaves out. We meant to have an evening or two in, but the Vecchio Osteria Pergola down the road was just too damned tempting. Home made pasta to die for. We have to return."
