Under the Tuscan Sun
"We spent 5 days at this wonderful little apartment in Cortona, thoughtfully and attentively hosted by Mirko and his mother Vanna. Mirko met us at the parking lot, which is conveniently located just across the street from the apartments, and oriented us to the apartment and to the sights of Cortona. The view is exceptional and looks out over the rooftops into Tuscany from the large open window in the living room. The bedroom was roomy, comfortable, and quiet and the bathroom was clean and convenient. The kitchen also looked out onto the beautiful view and was well furnished for cooking or just morning coffee. Cortona is a beautiful and historic Tuscan town, not to be missed and Mirko and Vanna's hospitality and beautiful apartment made for a perfect stay."

"My husband, I and two other couples just spent an amazing 5 days at Villa Stefania. Luigi and Stefania were great hosts. They made sure that we felt very welcome and had everything we needed for our stay. Stefania surprised us two mornings of our stay with delicious breakfast pastries. One evening we returned from dinner to find homemade tiramisu for our dessert. We were very spoiled!!
The villa is clean and modernized, but still gave you the feeling of old world charm. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The washer was an added extra, so nice because we were traveling for an additional 8 days in Italy. The grounds are beautifully manicured with flowers, and have fig trees, olive trees, a grape vineyard and huge rosemary bushes. So gorgeous. The pool was beautiful, although the chilly weather prevented us from using it. We spent many peaceful mornings sitting outside at the Deruta table in the courtyard, drinking coffee and listening to the Bells of Cortona. We hope to return someday soon."

"My wife and I recently stayed in the one-bed house at Borghetta Calchinaia and enjoyed 10 days of wonderful early-October sunshine, combined with all the benefits of being slightly out of season: easy accss to the best retaurants (of which there are many close by) and to view the beautiful hill-top towns with their stupendous art; plus the over-abundance of fresh seasonal foods and wines.
The property has been lovingly restored, to the highest modern standards and sits in a beautiful garden with stunning views over the lake and surrounding hills."
