  • Memorable holiday

"Most beautiful villa, quaint and unspoiled.Lovely views from the patio The people in the village were very hospitable and friendly. The restaurant in Civitella opened especially for us as we were late getting in and they cooked an excellent Italian meal for us.Everything we could possibly need was provided for us in the villa including a hair dryer a clothes line outside ect.,. There is an unbelievable library in the Villa I could spend a week perusing."

  • Wow, what a great stay

"We loved this apartment in Anghiari! The bedrooms were smaller than we expected, but certainly ok, and the ceiling fans were essential as it was hot. The kitchen was stocked for our arrival with basic essentials and the living areas very comfortable. The upstairs bathroom was noisy (water pump) and small, but the downstairs bathroom with a washer/dryer (we didn't need the latter as it was so hot) was just great. Because the apartment is in the upper city wall, the views out the window were amazing, and by leaving the front door open, we had a nice cross breeze. And the same for the upstairs area. Lovely comfortable furnishings and our hosts were in residence just down the street so we enjoyed an evening with them at their apartment. Anghiari is the perfect medieval village, narrow winding streets (it's on a hill, so there's plenty of up and down) with flowers everywhere, quiet, clean, lovely. We were met at the top of Anghiari at a bar by Guiseppe (once we reached him) who led us to the property. We were able to park our car just outside the wall so had a very short walk to the apartment from the car. We tried three local restaurants, all good, especially Da Alighiero and Feudo del Vicario. Would recommend this apartment highly, I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Tuscany!"

  • Super vacation destination!

"This was our first trip to Italy. We fell in love with the Tuscan countryside and all that the area had to offer. The villa was super. Such a wonderful place to relax, take in the magnificent views, sunflowers, and grapes! The pool area was so welcome after a day trip in the city. Easy access by car to so many places. We are determined to return so that we can enjoy and continue our education of this fabulous area of Italy. all aspects of this villa were superior!!!! Loved it."
