"Our family of 4, 2 adults and 2 teen girls, stayed at this property for 5 nights. It was wonderful! It was charming and rustic and felt like we were truly in the Tuscan countryside. However, the wonderful town of Fiesole and Florence were very close by and readily accessible. The apt. we stayed in was perfection. It was large and beautifully decorated with all the amenities one could want or need. What made this property, above and beyond all others we have stayed at, was the unbelievable helpfulness and kindness of the owners. When we need any help at all (and we needed a great deal since we were often lost and one night we even had a flat tire,) Lorenzo was available at all times with a kindness and cheerfulness that was unbelievable. We even joked that he was our "guardian angel." You cannot go wrong with this property and I only hope I have the opportunity to visit again in the future."

  • Tuscan Countryside

"Casa Alina, located on the outskirts of the small town of Montespertoli, is a hidden gem. A private home in a cluster of several other homes, the setting is lovely with serene garden space in both the front and the back. Private parking is also available. Renting a car in Florence is easy and the drive to Casa Alina is less than an hour. Beautifully decorated with a mix of antiques and modern pieces, the first floor of the home has a comfortable sitting area, a well-equipped kitchen, a full bathroom, and laundry facilities. Two very comfortable and spacious bedrooms and a large hall bathroom take up the second floor. The third floor, a loft or attic space, serves as a tiny third bedroom. Excellent home-cooked meals can be arranged through Laura or you can try some of the local restaurants. Artevino was an especially good choice for a delicious dinner and Pizzeria Ristorante Il Mundo degli Gnomi was a great casual choice. The town square was a fun place to wander and explore, and the local Co-Op grocery store has all the necessary food and supplies to support your stay. Casa Alina is also the perfect jumping-off spot for visiting the many little towns in the area. It's also very close to Castello Sonnino, a local winery, which offers tours along with relaxing meals overlooking the vineyards. Kimberly is very helpful throughout the booking process as well as a great resource for local activities. In short, Casa Alina was a delightful place to stay - the perfect home away from home."
