Fantastic Apartment in Florence
"We spent just under 14 days around Easter in this great apartment overlooking the Arno in Florence. The view itself was worth the price of the apartment. Open the tall windows and look directly across to the Uffizi and Ponte Vecchio. There is a fantastic grocery store within a 4 min walk and a couple of great restaurants (try the Trattoria Bordino) are nearly at your door-step. The furnishings in the two bedroom, two bath unit are not elaborate, but very functional. And oh, by the way, the elevator was great! The small kitchen was fine for fixing breakfast before exploring everything Florence has to offer. Really never needed a car. Rachel was great, very helpful, even as we fought our jet lag."

"We truly enjoyed our 9 day stay at Casa Alina. Your spacious home in the beautiful Tuscan countryside was the perfect location from which to make many day trips - Florence, San Gimignano, Siena, Lucca, Pisa, Certaldo and we even managed to get in a day trip from Florence to Cinque Terre, not to mention exploring nearby Montespertoli. Getting around was convenient with a rental car and GPS and we found it easy getting into Florence several times by parking in a lot outside of central Florence and taking the tram the rest of the way. On our arrival day, we enjoyed one of Laura's homemade meals with generous enough helpings for leftovers. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you could need. The beds were very comfortable and we appreciated the North American electrical outlets and the washer and dryer - even laundry soap was provided! We were a group of three women on a girls getaway, so found ourselves spoiled in this spacious, comfortable home away from home. We would without doubt recommend this rental to anyone wanting to explore Tuscany."

"My husband and I really enjoyed staying at this apartment. The location worked well for us and the apartment was exactly as described. We walked everywhere including the train station and never took public transportation so I think the location is pretty ideal. Marino was very easy to work with, replied quickly and answered all of our questions. We appreciated having the washing machine."
