Great location for seeing Florence
"Great location, with a short walk to many sites in Florence. Food available--eating out or cooking--from Mercato Centrale and many other restaurants just around the block. We stayed at this apartment for four nights and will definitely recommend it to our friends and stay there again ourselves. The apartment was comfortable, furnished very nicely just like in the photos, and everything we used worked. Located on a narrow side street which is well lit at night. Make sure you can handle the spiral steps to get to the bedroom--they're steep."

"We stayed in this apartment in early October and found it to be in a great location, secure, well equipped, very spacious. Lorenzo was very great to work with, spoke really good english which was very helpful. As mentioned, the apartment is very close to the Duomo so you hear the church bells at 7am, 7:30am and 8am, great if you are a morning person but probably not if you are not. Luckily we were morning people and used it as an alarm clock. We hope to visit Florence again soon."

"Everything about our stay at Borgo Pinti was perfect! Our family of five were very comfortable! The location couldn't have been better for everything the city of Florence has to offer, but it was just off the busy streets so it was quieter. Claudia was wonderful to work with, we will definitely stay again next time we're in Florence!

"We recently had the pleasure of spending 6 nights at Achille, and completely agree with all the rave reviews. This was my first time renting directly from an owner and Emily's attention to detail even before we arrived left me with nothing to worry about. Emily had to be out of the country during our stay but her husband, Maurizio, was every bit the gracious host - even helping my husband navigate the markets to find a new pair of pants. There were 4 of us - my husband and I (late 50's), our 20 year-old daughter and my 54 yr-old brother, and the apartment suited us perfectly. It is large, impeccably designed, extremely clean, and well appointed with everything a traveler could want. It is even lovelier than what the photos and description show. I especially appreciated the "book" that listed emergency contact numbers, favorite restaurants and shops, and directions on how to operate the appliances. Small details such as indiscreet mosquito zappers allowed us to keep the windows open and enjoy the sounds of Florence. The apartment was so comfortable that we found ourselves adjusting our tourist schedule so that we could linger in the kitchen in the morning over a cup of espresso. I only wish my own kitchen was as well equipped as Achille.
The location is fantastic, just minutes from the heart of Florence, with superb restaurants and gelaterias nearby, and a grocery store about a block away. At the end of our trip that took us to Paris, Rome, Tuscany and Florence we went around the table and talked about what we most enjoyed. My brother said his favorite thing was our time at Achille because it allowed us to experience Florence as if we lived there rather than as tourists. I think that speaks highly of the how comfortable Achille is! We are all looking forward to returning someday - hopefully for a longer time!"
