  • Spectacular! Should be on everyone's bucket list!

"I have stayed in Florence apartments many times and find the apartment experience to be far superior to a hotel stay. Belvedere Duomo has all of the comforts of home : a beautiful kitchen, great amenities, a washer and dryer, and an incomparable location. This apartment would cost 5 times as much in a fine hotel - so I consider it a real bargain. The apartment was spotless, the beds incredibly comfortable and the onsite manager Paolo was a true treasure. He set up tours for us, a cooking class in the apartment! (We went with the chef to buy the food in the mercato centrale) . I will be back to Belvedere Duomo as often as I can! This should be on everyone's bucket list!"

"We reserved this apartment for our stay in Florence via the internet and Clemente was prompt in responding to our inquiries. Myself, my husband and two grown sons toured the city and stayed here. This apartment was extremely clean and neat and central to the area that we desired to be. It was absolutely everything that we had hoped it would be. Clemente met us and went over the particulars of the apartment and we were happy to have met him. It was a great place to drop our belongings after 8-10 miles a day on foot. Then we would walk to one of many, many restaurants in the area and then back to the apartment. So convenient to have access to kitchen items with the market so close. We'd go back to stay there again if or when the opportunity should come around. Superb! Thank you Clemente."

  • Beautiful stay in Florence

"Our recent stay in this Florence apartment was excellent. This apartment is in an ideal central location and we had a truly unique view of the Duomo and Campanile from our bedrooms and balcony - the bells ringing out were such a pleasure to experience. The apartment was spotless, had a modern bathroom and brand new washer/dryer, nice amenities that our family enjoyed. The owner, Irene, made us feel welcome and was a great resource pointing us in the right direction with restaurants, gelato, bakeries and the sights. All of her recommendations were on target and she even helped connect us with a great driver for a visit we planned to Chianti. We would stay here again and highly recommend it."

  • Exceptional apartment in the heart of Florence.

"This is a beautiful place, just as it appears in the photos. On the ground floor, it has the advantage as having no stairways to climb. That's right. No stairs. So it's a very short trip from the street to your room. This is a rarity in Florence. It is an outstanding apartment, gorgeously appointed with antiques, vaulted ceilings with natural light, and a very well equipped kitchen . Close to the street, there are occasional loud noises early in the morning when garage style steel doors are being opened, but it must be pointed out that the street is otherwise virtually silent, as it is a residential pedestrian walkway. Considering how close this place is to all the action in Florence (it is just steps away from the Medici Chapel, and the central marketplace), it is very private and quiet. There was a problem with the hot water when I arrived, but the owner resolved that for me. As seen in the photos, there is a spiral staircase to the upstairs bed. It is a bit precarious to take those stairs in the middle of the night, so I recommend leaving the bathroom light on at night, so you are not groping around in the dark. All in all, this was truly exceptional place which I would strongly recommend. When I return to Florence, I would definitely want to stay there again."
