  • Charming apartment - great location!

"What a beautiful apartment - immaculate, well appointed, and in our opinion, the best location in the city. We definitely preferred staying in the Oltrarno area of Florence - the other side of the river, near the Pitti Palace, but very close to the Ponte Vecchio and a short 10 minute stroll to the historic center. Loads of wonderful restaurants, cafes, and shops (think leather!) but quieter and less touristy than the center - with lower prices as well. Our lovely hostess, Katerina, met us on arrival and gave us a lot of great information and a map of tourist spots and restaurants. From the moment of our first inquiry about the rental until check-out, all details were handled very promptly and very professionally. FYI - a few steps from the apt. at the end of Via Toscanella (the street where the apt. is located) at the corner of Borgo San Jacopo is a wonderful wine shop - Enoteca Obsequium. Every evening starting at 6pm, you can enjoy a glass of wine and a selection of their wonderful Tuscan tapas for only 7 Euros per person - that was our dinner one night. We hope to return to Florence at some point in the future and we will definitely stay at this lovely apt. again."

"I took my wife for our honeymoon to Florence and i was looking for a sweet place for this special event, I wanted to be close to the center not too far so I found this stunning apartment full of charm. As a professional photographer, I pay attention to details and this place is furnished by authentic and beautiful furnitures from the chair to the tables, beds, dishes, you are in an authentic Italian apartment tastefully furnished. We spent one week with my wife and it’s exaclty what you need if you want to enjoy the beautiful ciy of Florence With a stunning 180° view of the city, this apartment is over looking all the old city where you can see the beauty of Brunelleschi´s dome, just few walk to the historical part of the city to enjoy Dumo the gothic church, the carousel, the Gelato, the Ponte Vecchio “old bridge” with the market And please do not miss Michelangelo’s “David" at the Accademia Gallery We really envoyed our honeymoon thanks to this place and the owners, they welcome them as special guest and treat us a family"

  • Wow!!!

"We stayed here with my brother-in-law and family: 7 of us total. We were very comfortable in the large space and beautiful apartment. Finally – some room and privacy! The location is perfect. It’s out of the touristy area, but close enough to walk to the main attractions. Communication was great with Veronica and Francesca. We loved the recommended restaurants and sightseeing tips. The café and gelato shop on the pedestrian-only shop were a special and unexpected treat, as were the artisans and their shops. They were all a joy to visit and talk to! The apartment was very well equipped, and we enjoyed also the little touches such as the umbrellas left for us to borrow, guidebooks, and window screens. We loved it here and can’t wait to return!"

  • A Florentine gem

"We have had several long-term stays here and have thoroughly enjoyed the house and the neighborhood. The house is lovely - comfortable, well-maintained and well-equipped. On the warm days we particularly have enjoyed the roof-top terrace for lunch, aperitivi, and dinner. The area around Piazza Tasso feels like the real Florence -- lively during the day and very quiet in the evening, with many nearby caf'es and restaurants. We particularly enjoyed be able to easily walk everywhere--Piazza Santo Spirito is ten minutes away, and the Duomo is 25 minutes by foot, via many interesting routes -- so there is always something new to discover on the way! Excellent bus transportation for trips within Florence or to other Tuscan towns (e.g., Greve-in-Chianti, Siena) is a two minute walk from the house. This has become our home-away-from-home in Florence and we look forward to our return."
