"All the pictures and descriptions on the listing are accurate, except the furniture on the deck has been updated. The apartment was spacious, bright and clean. The fantastic views from every window trumped the sounds of the church bells from all directions. The elevator was a huge plus. The terrace was perfect for morning coffee and evening cocktails. We even cooked dinner one night. The best part of it was the location. It was convenient to everything. Linda was very easy to deal with. Each time I sent her an email with questions, she responded within a few hours. We made arrangements for Linda's son Marco to pick us up at the airport. He was waiting when we arrived, drove us straight to the apartment and showed us everything we needed for the stay. We also arranged for Marco to drive us to Carrara and Pisa for a day trip. We could not have seen and done as much as we did without him. He even surprised us with a couple of vista point stops to show us the breathtaking views on the region. Everything worked out great. Thanks Linda and Marco!!! I would highly recommend this apartment to everyone."

  • A perfect home in Florence

"We stayed in Emily's Achille apartment for 4 nights in June, 2014. I am not overstating to say that we fell in love with the place. My husband, two kids (12 and 14) and I stayed in the Achille apartment, and my mother stayed across the hall in Gea, a spacious studio. The apartment's location is simply outstanding. While the Duomo is visible just down the road, less than five minutes walk away, we felt like we could come home to a place that was completely separate from the throngs of tourists. The apartment had plenty of room for all of us with a spacious master bedroom and ensuite, and a lovely separate suite with two twin beds and a bathroom. My teenager and almost teenager really appreciated the privacy this arrangement offered. The kitchen is gorgeous and very well equipped - almost made us want to cook dinners there, but we couldn't resist the Florentine restaurants. Everything in the apartment was beautifully maintained, and the A/C and wifi worked well. Emily was a pleasure to deal with from the start. She met us at the apartment on our arrival, and provided us with a list of suggestions for restaurants, gelaterias (very important) and other amenities. As we were leaving, my daughter remarked that she would like to return to Florence and live in Emily's apartment. A feeling shared by all of us!"

  • Party of Seven

"Our stay in the Villa in July was wonderful. We had everything we needed. The location and the villa itself are breathtaking. Our hosts were available and helpful. I would recommend this property to anyone interested in exploring the area of Florence and the surroundings towns. One week was certainly not enough and we all plan to return. We all wished we had taken more down time to spend more time at the villa and great pool. This villa is really a slice of heaven."

  • Location! Classy! Great spot!

"This place was just as advertised. Amazing location. Very spacious. Well-equipped. Rachel was super-helpful and always ready and available with good tips and advice. Parking at the nearby lungarno garage was easy and relatively affordable for the area. This is really in the centre of Firenze, but on the side of the Ponte Vecchio which encourages looking around the Oltrarno area (which so many tourists miss out on and never should) - but is steps from the Ponte Vecchio so nothing is missed. Stayed with a newborn, 2 year old, and had a couple of in-laws come and there was plenty of space for the 4 adults and two kids. Everything was great and easy, highly recommended."
