  • Great Choice

"This apartment was the perfect choice for our family of 4. Quiet street close to center of city. Super clean, modern, well furnished. Second bedroom a bit small but plenty of room in living room. Great outdoor patio. The local rep Veronica was incredibly helpful and nice."

  • A room with a view!

"Our trip to Florence for 9 days at the end of November couldn't have been more perfect, in large part due to the wonderful apartment we stayed in. Torella was an ideal location, a minute from the Ponte Vecchio, around the corner from the Pitti Palace and across the Arno from the Uffizi. The apartment itself was comfortable and cozy, with breathtaking views from the bedroom at all hours. One of the unexpected bonuses was that it was extremely quiet; no sound from other apartments, neighbors or even the street. We enjoyed the terrace and found the living room very relaxing. Both our greeter and the doorman were extremely helpful, which was especially important considering our luggage was lost on the trip there. They were instrumental in our obtaining it without further problems. We loved being close to the main attractions, but also the quiet small streets and piazzas in this region, and especially the artisans of the Santo Spirito neighborhood. Restaurants within walking distance were all superb, and we found the recommendations in the apartment very helpful. We also made daily trips to the grocery store down the street, perfect for supplies for breakfast or snacks. We were able to do what we had hoped this vacation could do: relax and live as the locals might, walking everywhere, enjoying the beauty and vibrancy of this beautiful Italian city. We can't wait to return."

  • Two Weeks in Florence

"We loved our two week stay in your Bardi apartment. We have been to Florence many times but this was our first time to rent an apartment in the city. The apartment was perfect. It was exceptionally clean, attractively furnished, a very nice size bedroom and wonderful little flower filled balcony where we had breakfast and enjoyed a glass of wine before dinner. This October was unusually hot so we really appreciated the good air-conditioning. We loved the location...right by Ponte Vecchio.....we were in easy walking distance to most of the Museums and attractions. Two small museums we enjoyed were Stefano Bardini and Cappella Brancacci. There were some terrific restaurants very close to the old favorite Cammillo, our new favorite Osteria de Cinghiale Bianco, Trattoria 4 Leoni, and Mamma Gina for fried chicken ( better than in Texas) plus many more that we tried. We enjoyed the lovely little Anglican church that was not far from the apartment. They even use their space for Operas in the evenings. One day we took a wine tour with Grape Tours located just down from the apartment on via de Bardi...very handy. If you are looking for a charming little apartment in a perfect location with very helpful owners, you are sure to like the Bardi."

  • Amazing retreat with spectacular view of Florence

"My husband and I just spent 8 lovely days at the Casa Rosa apartment. It is so nice and comfortable, but the best part is the beautiful view over the hills above Florence from the apartment terrace and the sweeping view of central Florence from the grounds of the adjoining hotel. The apartment is in the quiet hills above the center, but is still very close. It is probably best to have a car, although it's easy to take a taxi down the hill. The owners are so nice and welcoming, providing everything we needed. We had use of the hotel pool and other amenities. (The hotel is a gorgeous 16th century villa). The tiled apartment terrace runs along the entire length of the dining/living room. We enjoyed sitting out there for meals and cocktail hour. The evening light on the scattered villas across the way is quite magical. We couldn't have found a better place to escape after a day of sightseeing in town amid the crowds of other tourists."
