  • We thought the house was adorable and loved its location in a real neighborhood.

"Just wanted you to know how much we loved staying in the Casetta Bonsi. We thought the house was adorable and loved its location in a real neighborhood. The living room was attractive and cozy, and the kitchen was well equipped, except that there could be a few more wine glasses. We didn’t cook in the house, and only used the stove to boil water for tea, but there were plenty of pots and pans and enough workspace had we decided to cook meals there. The dishwasher worked well the one time we used it. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was modern and well lit, and there was plenty of hot water in the shower. The little terrace was a wonderful place to sit and read and enjoy the view of the Palazzo Vecchio tower. Our only noise issue was the sound of motorcycles parked near the front door starting up in the morning, but we adjusted once we were over our jet lag. Maurizio could not have been a more gracious and accommodating host. We very much appreciated the gift of wine, cookies and fruit that were waiting for us in the house, along with all the information on visiting Florence. The one problem we had was finding a puddle of water by the washing machine one morning. We contacted Maurizio, and he had the situation (new washer had not been connected properly) corrected within 48 hours. We used the washer the next day, and there were no more leaks. Maurizio’s suggestions for restaurants were wonderful. We tried most of them, and especially loved Cinghiale Bianco, where we enjoyed two great dinners. We had breakfast every morning at the Open Bar, down the hill from the house, and within a few days we were recognized as regulars. Most of all, it was a treat leaving the tourist hordes behind and coming back up the hill every day to our own little house. We look forward to a return visit in the future. We were also very impressed with Italy Perfect and plan to use you again for our next trip to Italy. Thanks so much for providing such a great service."

  • We had a wonderful time

"The Quercia apartment in Florence is well located to be convenient to all tourist attractions, yet off the beaten path. It is very well-appointed with nice linens, table service and kitchen tools. A welcome basket was waiting filled with everything we would need for the first 24 hours including coffee, wine, pasta, sauce and cookies. We enjoyed relaxing in the living room and eating our meals outside in the courtyard which was actually a little bigger than it looked in photographs. We rented bicycles and rode outside the city a couple of times, which was fun. We loved having the interior courtyard to store the bikes in at night. The surrounding area is a safe, friendly neighborhood. One night on the way back from dinner we came upon a party going on in the street. We stopped to listen to the music and before we knew it we were swept into the middle of the group and we were dancing with everyone else. Another night we happened on a trunk show at a local boutique and were invited in for wine and hors d'œuvres as models and impeccably dressed men and women milled about us. We got to see all the tourist attractions but we also got to feel like locals. Perfection! The bounty of suggestions for food, fun and travel tips in the ItalyPerfect information packet were really terrific. We will definitely use ItalyPerfect again and have recommended it to friends."

  • A delightful and comfortable appartment. A very hospitable and nice host.

"The appartment is well equipped, has a tiny but efficient kitchen and is situated close by all sort of shops, supermarkets, restaurants and one of the main attractions in Florence: the Ponte Vecchio. We stayed 6 days in Beatrice´s appartment, including the New Year´s Day, and had a wonderful experience welcoming 2015 together with a host of "Fiorentinos" and other people on the bridge. I would only suggest the owner to renovate the toilette shower but this is a matter of taste and how much you like the water flushing over you.. In short, an ideal appartment for those seeking an invaluable location, an excellent host and facilities at the heart of one of the cultural capitals of the renancentist world."

  • Fantastic Apartment in Florence

"We spent just under 14 days around Easter in this great apartment overlooking the Arno in Florence. The view itself was worth the price of the apartment. Open the tall windows and look directly across to the Uffizi and Ponte Vecchio. There is a fantastic grocery store within a 4 min walk and a couple of great restaurants (try the Trattoria Bordino) are nearly at your door-step. The furnishings in the two bedroom, two bath unit are not elaborate, but very functional. And oh, by the way, the elevator was great! The small kitchen was fine for fixing breakfast before exploring everything Florence has to offer. Really never needed a car. Rachel was great, very helpful, even as we fought our jet lag."
