  • We had a wonderful time

"The Quercia apartment in Florence is well located to be convenient to all tourist attractions, yet off the beaten path. It is very well-appointed with nice linens, table service and kitchen tools. A welcome basket was waiting filled with everything we would need for the first 24 hours including coffee, wine, pasta, sauce and cookies. We enjoyed relaxing in the living room and eating our meals outside in the courtyard which was actually a little bigger than it looked in photographs. We rented bicycles and rode outside the city a couple of times, which was fun. We loved having the interior courtyard to store the bikes in at night. The surrounding area is a safe, friendly neighborhood. One night on the way back from dinner we came upon a party going on in the street. We stopped to listen to the music and before we knew it we were swept into the middle of the group and we were dancing with everyone else. Another night we happened on a trunk show at a local boutique and were invited in for wine and hors d'œuvres as models and impeccably dressed men and women milled about us. We got to see all the tourist attractions but we also got to feel like locals. Perfection! The bounty of suggestions for food, fun and travel tips in the ItalyPerfect information packet were really terrific. We will definitely use ItalyPerfect again and have recommended it to friends."

  • Olivia Perfect

"After spending the month of September, 2014, in the Olivia apartment, we decided that the more apt name would be "Olivia Perfect." It did not take long for us to feel at home in this charming apartment, especially after being greeted by the welcoming and friendly owner, Angela, whose children were there to lug our large suitcases up the five flights of stairs for us. Angela not only gave us a thorough tour of the apartment upon our arrival, but also provided us with a welcome basket, which included spaghetti and sauce to fix for dinner, cookies, coffee, bread, jam, and juice for breakfast the next day, and a bottle of Chianti to boot! This was very thoughtful and most appreciated after our overnight flight. Over the course of our 28 nights in the "Olivia Perfect," we came to fully appreciate its many amenities and Angela's lovely taste, including the well-equipped kitchen (with both American and Italian coffee makers, I might add), lovely decor with pictures and paintings of Florence, embroidered sheets, comfortable sofa for reading and relaxing, air conditioning, washer AND dryer, and the ultimate feature--TWO bathrooms--one for each of us! Not only were we delighted by the interior of the apartment, but the location proved to be ideal for us. The Ponte Vecchio was a five minute walk and the furthest tourist sight only 30 minutes away on foot. We were very pleased that we chose the Oltrarno area, which, at the end of the day, provided a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of the Florence city center. We cannot thank Angela enough for providing such a cozy and comfortable place, and to Pat of Italy Perfect for making it all happen. They thought of everything! The "Olivia Perfect" was such a perfect fit for the two of us that, not long after returning home, we decided to go back to Florence and stay for a month again next year. We have recently booked our stay at the Olivia, where we are sure we will fall in love with Florence all over again."

  • Two Weeks in Florence

"We loved our two week stay in your Bardi apartment. We have been to Florence many times but this was our first time to rent an apartment in the city. The apartment was perfect. It was exceptionally clean, attractively furnished, a very nice size bedroom and wonderful little flower filled balcony where we had breakfast and enjoyed a glass of wine before dinner. This October was unusually hot so we really appreciated the good air-conditioning. We loved the location...right by Ponte Vecchio.....we were in easy walking distance to most of the Museums and attractions. Two small museums we enjoyed were Stefano Bardini and Cappella Brancacci. There were some terrific restaurants very close to the apartment...an old favorite Cammillo, our new favorite Osteria de Cinghiale Bianco, Trattoria 4 Leoni, and Mamma Gina for fried chicken ( better than in Texas) plus many more that we tried. We enjoyed the lovely little Anglican church that was not far from the apartment. They even use their space for Operas in the evenings. One day we took a wine tour with Grape Tours located just down from the apartment on via de Bardi...very handy. If you are looking for a charming little apartment in a perfect location with very helpful owners, you are sure to like the Bardi."

  • Perfect location, perfect season

"We fully enjoyed autumn in Florence with nice weather, clear all over our 6-day stay, with much help by Alessandra in retrieving the lost baggage from the airport etc. The location is more than perfect for going around in the historic central Florence, which made our second stay in Florence very fruitful and up-to-plan. The apartment is fully equipped in the kitchen, living room and bedrooms, even with very convenient ready-to-use PC and printer. Many times of to-and-fro every day on the Borgo San Jacopo just in front of this location made us feel this town is truly our home, so we like to RETURN back shortly."
