A cozy little gem
"We stayed in this lovely, cozy apartment for 11 days. It was heavenly. Quiet, cool, and comfortable. It was extremely clean and well appointed. The bathroom was quite spacious for Italy and the shower was divine. The bed was so comfortable and the linens were lovely.
The luggage elevator was a plus as well as the washing machine and dryer ( although we air dried our things). The street is lined with high end shops and an amazing bakery. A short walk leads to Ponte Santa Trinita.
And of course we need to pay particular compliments to the landlord who was so gracious, helpful and kind to us. She assisted us several times throughout our stay, trying to help us locate a lost backpack, arranging for taxis, etc. We greatly appreciated all she did for us. We look forward to our next stay in this wonderful apartment."

"We spent just under 14 days around Easter in this great apartment overlooking the Arno in Florence. The view itself was worth the price of the apartment. Open the tall windows and look directly across to the Uffizi and Ponte Vecchio. There is a fantastic grocery store within a 4 min walk and a couple of great restaurants (try the Trattoria Bordino) are nearly at your door-step. The furnishings in the two bedroom, two bath unit are not elaborate, but very functional. And oh, by the way, the elevator was great! The small kitchen was fine for fixing breakfast before exploring everything Florence has to offer. Really never needed a car. Rachel was great, very helpful, even as we fought our jet lag."

"We found this apartment after our booked-for-three-months accommodation canceled on us at the last minute! We found it is as-advertised, spacious and clean. The location is good--within easy walking distance of every major sight in Florence as well as the train station. The neighborhood is quieter than you would find on the other side of the river. We were satisfied with the apartment, especially in respect to the cost. Kevan was easy to work with and very accommodating.
To be fair to others, I must back other reviews with regard to the street noise in the master bedroom. If you are not a city dweller or a very heavy sleeper, you will find that it is impossible to sleep without earplugs. Even on the weeknights, you can expect to have a lot of noise until 1-2 am, and the first night we arrived (Saturday) it was even later. The good news is that the second bedroom is much quieter--I can't use earplugs, but I was able to sleep by moving to the other bedroom (there were only two of us, so this was practical). This may simply be an artifact of the historic nature of the building and of city life in general, so just be prepared for this--forewarned is forearmed!
The neighbors are pretty heavy smokers, so you may not be able to open the windows opening onto the courtyards, but the air conditioning does work, and there are a couple of fans to help circulate the air, so this works well.
One recommendation I do have is to provide a small welcome basket upon arrival. A bottle of water, perhaps some coffee, fruit, biscuits and/or some milk would have been much appreciated. There is a market nearby, so we were able to run down to the market before it closed."

"The photo's are spot on, the apartment was very clean and if you need anything the owner is only a phone call or e-mail away and very quick to respond to needs or questions, terrific customer service. She met us upon arrival to introduce herself, show us around the apartment and ensure we were familiar with everything.
This was my wife's 50th birthday present and the city of Florence didn't let us down, it really is amazing and you can do day trips to Venice via the high speed train, Tuscany via coach (which included Pisa, Siena, San Gimignano as well as a relaxing lunch at a Chianti winery overlooking the vineyards) without the need to rent a car and many other places, it's so central and the high speed train keeps everything so close. The apartment is walking distance to the train station and in Florence you can walk to everything. We based ourselves at this lovely little apartment which had everything we needed for two weeks and did day trips. This way we didn't have to pack and carry luggage. A trip to Rome probably requires three days to see most of what you want. It's about 90 minutes via the train and there's tours for everything and very reasonably priced. Take the tours as they get you to the front of the lines for not much more money.
Florence is saturated with cafe's, restaurants, bars and bistro's. We sat outside and people watched at just about all our meals. The food is absolutely amazing and it's very common to have wine with all meals which suited us just fine:). It was all very reasonably priced. There really are restaurants everywhere and it seams like every other store is a leather store. Florence is the leather capital of the world and they have some beautiful stuff.
I would highly recommend this apartment, if you're used to living in 5 star hotels this may not be for you, however if you want reasonably priced accommodation that gives you everything you need in an authentic building where you can really live like the locals in a beautiful ancient city this will not disappoint.
My wife and I also had our adult son and daughter with us, the twin beds in the second bedroom were perfect for them and saved us looking for a three bedroom, although there is a sofa bed in the living room if needed."
