  • Very highly recommended

"We stayed in Achille in mid-September and it was wonderful. I have little to add to the very positive reviews of this rental, but I do want to confirm that the comments are accurate! We could not have had a better place to stay for our 9-day sojourn in Florence. The apartment is even better than advertised and I would recommend it to anyone with the possible exception of someone who would have difficulty with the stairs. Achille is quiet, beautifully furnished, and it feels as if you are in your own home. Emily was very helpful when we arrived, and our communication in arranging the rental was clear and quick. For a couple of days we were a group of 7 and we rented the GEA apartment across the hall to accommodate 2 people. Emily is also the owner of this one-bedroom flat which offered space, privacy, and the same excellent location and furnishings."

  • Two Weeks in Florence

"We loved our two week stay in your Bardi apartment. We have been to Florence many times but this was our first time to rent an apartment in the city. The apartment was perfect. It was exceptionally clean, attractively furnished, a very nice size bedroom and wonderful little flower filled balcony where we had breakfast and enjoyed a glass of wine before dinner. This October was unusually hot so we really appreciated the good air-conditioning. We loved the location...right by Ponte Vecchio.....we were in easy walking distance to most of the Museums and attractions. Two small museums we enjoyed were Stefano Bardini and Cappella Brancacci. There were some terrific restaurants very close to the old favorite Cammillo, our new favorite Osteria de Cinghiale Bianco, Trattoria 4 Leoni, and Mamma Gina for fried chicken ( better than in Texas) plus many more that we tried. We enjoyed the lovely little Anglican church that was not far from the apartment. They even use their space for Operas in the evenings. One day we took a wine tour with Grape Tours located just down from the apartment on via de Bardi...very handy. If you are looking for a charming little apartment in a perfect location with very helpful owners, you are sure to like the Bardi."

  • Heavenly.

"This property is simply amazing. The view is stunning. The apartment is beautifully decorated, very well maintained and very well appointed. The bed was very comfortable. It's amazingly quiet considering it is in a very busy area in Florence. Convenient to all the sights, restaurants, shopping. The manager, Paolo, is very good to deal with and very helpful. I was thankful for all the steps to get to the apartment. It helped burn off some calories!! Loved this apartment and would highly recommend it to friends and family. Would love to return for another stay."

  • A Perfect Home Away From Home

"This is an easy review to pen. Luca and the Flora Apartment provided me with the perfect home away from home. Florence is not new to me, but this stay was a new adventure of sorts for me. Being able to come home each day to this centrally located abode made me feeling like I was Florentine (at least for 10 days). Luca was welcoming, went over every detail of the apartment - responding promptly where I could get my Pisa Leaning Tower tickets printed off my computer when I realized I had left the copies at home. :) The apartment looks exactly like the photos - no photo shopping here - not needed. And the copious amounts of stairs...if you plan to eat pasta twice daily and enjoy all that Tuscan cuisine and wine have to offer (as I did) you will be thankful for the daily work. Luca - I will be back! A presto!!!"
