  • Perfect villa for our group of seven

"We couldn't have been happier with our choice of villas. It's location was perfect. We enjoyed that it was in a residential area away from the touristy part of Florence. It was an easy walk to several restaurants and shopping. Other than leaving Florence for day trips we never needed a car. And the lady who owns the villa lives next door and was absolutely delightful and very much added to our overall experience. Fortuny and her entire staff were helpful and accessible. If going back to Florence we would definitely stay there again."

  • Large, Clean, Great Location

"We stayed here for 9 days while visiting Florence in April 2014. The unit is on a quiet side street close to everything. Located in a historic palazzo, we felt as if we went back in a time a bit while staying here. The entry is grand and fun to return home to after a long day. There was plenty of room for the 4 of us and we had local friends over for dinner or wine a couple of times. The Wifi worked great and allowed us to use internet phone while there (Verizon CDMA phones don't work in Europe). The kitchen was minimal and the only weak point of the unit, but sufficient for our needs. Having a clothes washer and a dishwasher was a huge plus, even if we did miss not having a clothes dryer. There were several great restaurants near by including our favorite, Fuori Porta, just outside the old city gate. Also gelato shops and mini groceries a plenty are right near by. Ponte Vecchio was a quick 10 minute stroll from the unit and seeing the crowds there, we were always happy to be staying a few minutes away. Don't miss the rose garden just beyond the old city gate. We would definitely stay here again. Lorenzo was easy to contact before, during, and after our stay."

  • Second amazing stay

"This is the second time I've stayed at the Belvedere Duomo, and it was so wonderful to be back in this lovely apartment. This time I brought my fifteen year old daughter, and my sister, so that they could experience the terrace next to Brunelleschi's dome. What can I say -- it is a magical place. If you are coming to Florence, this is such a great part of experiencing this beautiful city. Paulo, who manages the apartment, again did a great job of arranging cooking lessons and a tour to Siena and the Cappanelle winery (great wine and an equally great meal). Paulo is exceedingly helpful and he really helped make our trip even more amazing. If there were a ten star rating, I'd give it."

  • Charming, comfortable

"Our stay at the Casetta Bonsi was once again, superb. Charming, comfortable, getaway that couldn't be in a better location. We have recommended it and your website to many others and intend to be back as soon as we can. Keep up the good work! You are the Best!"
