  • We will return to Casa Rossa!

"My husand and I stayed with my mother at Casa Rossa for 6 nights in November 2014. The accommodations were perfect for us and both Francesco and his mother were gracious and helpful hosts. The house is exactly as pictured - charming, clean, and comfortable. The views of the Chianti hills from the terrace are splendid indeed! The location is perfect for exploring this region of Tuscany. We made easy drives to Florence, Siena and Pisa, and Francesco recommended off-the-beaten path destinations in Chianti that we thoroughly enjoyed. The local hill town of San Casciano is charming and has excellent restaurants. Our favorite was La Cantinetta del Nonno, recommended by our host. We enjoyed it so much we returned for another meal the next day. One nearby site that we found fascinating is the Amercian World War II cemetery near Florence (only 20 minutes or so from the house). We have already recommended Casa Rossa and Italy Perfect to friends. We were very please with the information we received in advance from Italy Perfect and every detail was attended to. Overall we would give this property an outstanding rating."

  • Casa San Vito. . . a lovely Tuscan villa

"My family (4 adults and 2 children, 8 and 9) spent a lovely 5 days in this beautifully decorated and outfitted house on a Tuscan hilltop. The owner Francesco went out of his way to greet us, teach us how the house and its appliances worked, and give us information on nearby towns and the #37 bus to Florence. (15 min drive and 45 min bus trip.) You definitely need a car, which you can then drive to several nearby towns: San Casino, San Gimignano, Volterra, Colle, Tavernelle, Sienna. There were also several wineries nearby and our kids loved walking through the olive tree orchards, past vineyards and ran and rolled down a wide expanse of grassy hillside. Lisa and Pat of ItalyPerfect were terrific in arranging our visit; they were helpful to the last detail and always reachable...both before and during our visit."

  • Florence riverfront appartment

"Our week at Christina's apartment during the Christmas holiday was fabulous! The apartment had everything we needed; supermarket and restaurants close by, easy walk into the historic city center or metro station and parking just outside the door. The park across the river was an easy walk and absolutely beautiful. We could have easily spent a month there if we didn't have to go back to work... Thank you Christina!"

  • A beautiful place with a wonderful hostess.

"I can't think of a better way to visit Tuscany. This location was perfect for day trips into Florence(we recommend at least two days here) and all the hilltop towns we wanted to visit. Among them, Siena, Volterra, San Gimignano, Arezzo, Cortona, Orvieto and the Chianti region. With easy access to busses, trains(in Florence), and highways, we were able to travel each day only to return "home" each evening to relax. The view from our terrace was beautiful. Slightly out of town and high upon a hill allowed for peace and quiet to reflect on our day of travel and plan for the next. The path to get up to this wonderful villa is mostly gravel and steep, but well worth the trip once you see the view. We were amazed that we could make out some of the sights in Florence, including the Duomo and the Arno river. We were happy to have a full-functioning kitchen. We picked up groceries and local wine from the towns we visited each day and prepared a meal to enjoy out on that terrace each night. The sunrises and sunsets were truly breathtaking. The property itself is on an olive grove, and being here in the fall afforded us the chance to investigate the land. I brought my sketchbooks and watercolors to capture the famed Tuscan light. Fiorenza, our host, was most helpful, answering questions and accommodating our needs. The apartment was clean and well stocked with basics. There were maps and pamphlets left by our host and previous renters that we perused. The photos and descriptions in the listing do not do this rental justice...it was much nicer than we expected. We would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay in this region. It is imperative that you have a rental car though. If were are blessed with the opportunity to visit this part of Italy again, we will most assuredly rent this apartment again."
