"Our stay at Tantafera was just jaw-dropping incredible. We had nine adults and had more than enough space for everyone. The interior is beautifully decorated and feels very authentically Tuscan. The gourmet kitchen has everything you could want or need and Roberto greets you with a lovely and very complete welcome basket full of delicious goodies. Even though the villa is only a 15 minute drive into the center of Florence, you feel very removed from the hustle and bustle. We often spotted deer and game birds around the property.
My husband and I got married in Florence and we chose the villa for our family's accommodation as well as our wedding reception dinner. We are so thrilled with our choice. The view of Florence from the garden is unsurpassed and made for a truly spectacular backdrop. The online photos just cannot do it justice. In fact, our guests are still talking about how stunning the villa and its view were.
What helps push this property over the top is the extremely gracious hospitality of the host/owner, Roberto. He went out of his way time and time again to make our stay as comfortable and wonderful as possible, from meeting guests at the airport, to finding lactose-free milk, to driving us around Florence during a taxi strike. Just outstanding and extraordinarily gracious hospitality that made us feel like friends rather than guests.
The only negative thing we could complain about was that we had to leave! ;) Our group is already talking about a return trip to Florence and to Tantafera."

"My husband and I rented the house for a month. We wanted the feeling of "living" in Italy and this house was perfect. Several friends came to stay with us for varying times and we all had a wonderful time. The kitchen is big, we cooked most nights we were there. The family that owns the house was very helpful and accommodating. We were there in time for the grape harvest, which was pretty fascinating. The house is literally in the middle of grape vineyards and olive tree orchards. The house is very comfortable, and I can't wait for another opportunity to go back! Would recommend this property to anyone wanting to "Live" in Italy. You must have a car! The property is near Florence and Siena, and the center of Tuscan wineries, but impossible to navigate without a personal vehicle."

"My husband and I rented this apartment for our honeymoon in Firenze and we had a marvelous time! The apartment is well-maintained, elegantly decorated, and comfortable. And the location is perfect. We could easily walk to the Duomo, the Uffizzi and the Ponte Vecchio. The views from the apartment looking onto the Arno are beautiful. We had all the comforts of home - AC, a washing machine, dishwasher, and a huge master bathroom! The owners are art enthusiasts who have taken great pride in their home. We were amidst great shopping, restaurants and markets. This place was truly a gem. If you're looking for a quiet and private alternative to a hotel, we definitely recommend this apartment. If you want to try authentic restaurants that are a bit off the beaten path, the owners provide excellent recommendations as well. Enjoy!"

"Great property, beautiful views, ample size, clean space for 9 of us, a true taste of Italy! Gracious family hosts, were responsive to our needs. Definitely need a car/van, a bit of a challenge navigating directions but in a fun way, maybe 20 minutes travel to the city walls outside of which we parked and walked. All added to our experience. The pictures and description of the property were representative of the experience. We were not able to be treated to Mina's cooking, maybe next time! We recommend to larger groups looking for a villa still close to the city instead of downtown hotels."
