"The villa's incredible beauty and comfort were surpassed only by Enrico's care of us. He arranged many memorable excursions for us and made it possible for us to see and do more than we ever imagined. Eight women had plenty of room inside and in the lovely garden area. The villa and Enrico have tremendous amount of charm."

"Part of me wants to keep this review to myself to keep this villa a special little secret but, alas, it would be a shame for others not to experience what we did just a short time ago.
This villa is amazing. The actual structure is from the 15th century but has been completely renovated. It is the best of both worlds- old world charm with modern conveniences. Gorgeous bathroom, chef's kitchen, chic decor, etc. The grotto with the jacuzzi! No attention for detail has been spared. The home is incredible.
The property and the views... Wow. I felt like I was looking out into a postcard every morning. The landscape is filled with olive and orange trees, lemons, etc. Breathtakingly beautiful.
The owner Roberto. Now this is what made our stay above and beyond amazing. It's one thing to rent a great place, but Roberto was essentially our host. He was extremely helpful and responsive every day prior to our arrival- going so far as to research brands of diapers for our baby so we wouldn't have to transport with us! He also made all of our dinner reservations in advance and provided a crib with bedding. We arrived to a stocked kitchen, fresh flowers in every single room, delicious chocolates, prosecco and other wine, etc. What a welcome!!! He was more than happy to assist in booking a taxi any time and if we ever had any trouble or questions, he was immediately responsive and/or on site to assist.
The location. This is the best of both worlds. You are in the Florentine hills with perfect views of the city and the rolling landscape. But then just 10-15 minutes later via taxi you are downtown! We ate dinner out in downtown Florence every night and it was more than easy.
The villa is absolutely incredible but the host is what made our experience a dream.
I would recommend this to everyone. It is truly a special place."

"We loved this apartment. Perfect for the five of us and we needed the relaxation after 'getting lost' in Venice and Rome. Francesco welcomed us late afternoon and gave us information on close by restaurants, things to do, etc. His mother doesn't speak English but tried to help give directions to the cities we wanted to visit. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and olive oil from their vineyard and olive grove, what a nice surprise and thoughtful gift. We loved watching the hot air balloons fly over the beautiful countryside and have our coffee in the morning on our patio. We will return! This only let's me give a 5 Star but if it went to 10 Star, it would deserve that. We all loved it! Thank you Francesco and Franca for making our stay just perfect. It is 'Italy Perfect'."

"This home had the most amazing views! The house itself is a renovated family home and we loved being there. We may have been the first guests of the new season because the pool and jacuzzi were just being opened for the year. Claudio the host is charming, his wife operates a Florence tour company, and his son is a chef. Together this makes for an amazing vacation. The drive from the highway (autostrada) to the house was glorious. We stopped and took about 40 photos on the way. The train directly into Florence was 10 minutes from the house and right next to a large grocery store that was super fun to shop at. Philip, the son of the owner and a chef, spent an evening teaching us to make pasta from scratch, carbonara, and berry compote. The children loved every minute of it! He was an amazing teacher. The views from the home were stunning, the property was photo worthy, the olive oil they produce was amazing. Minutes away from the house (walking) is a tasting for Tuscan wine and olive oils! We would love to return to help with the olive harvest! We can not rave enough about the cooking class with Philip.
If you are planning a romantic escape, this is the place. Make arrangements for a private dinner on the terrace with your own private chef. Surprise your special someone with a lazy swim or jacuzzi soak looking out over Florence (you can see the dome).
If you are planning a family get away, this is the place. Take in the sights of Florence over 3 days and let the kids swim away the evenings.
Practical notes: Parking was excellent. The kitchen had a freezer for ice packs! The home does not have a dryer, but our clothes smelled like the Tuscan sun and dried within hours. The only difficulty was with the wifi. We had all our reservations online and had to have Philip help us to access them before heading into the city.
We would return!"
