  • Exactly what we wanted!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The property was exactly as described and extremely comfortable. With five longtime friends traveling together, the accommodations were perfect with five bedrooms and three baths. Enrico was our driver for the week and in addition to our plans, suggested several charming Italian villages and a great winery for us to visit! We saw all of the local sites traveling to Siena, San Gimignano and Pisa. And,of course, Florence. I highly recommend this property. It is quiet, charming, with beautiful scenery and the family is so friendly!"

  • A month in Florence

"My husband and I just returned from a month's stay in Florence in this apartment which felt like our second home. The owner met us at the apartment, provided us with details about the area , and was easily available to answer any questions. The apartment is spacious , with very comfortable bed, plenty of closet space, and when we had friends come to visit they had their own bedroom and bathroom as well. The location is perfect. It is away from the tourist areas but close enough to walk to all of the sites. It is located near the Pitti Palace and the Boboli Gardens but you are in more of a residential neighborhood which creates the feeling that you are not just a visitor in Florence. Across the street is a mini market and a green grocer, several cafés on the street and an easy walk to some wonderful restaurants. This apartment provided us with everything we had hoped for during our stay in Florence."

  • Excellent location, apartment is exactlly as described

"This sweet little top floor apartment is in an excellent location--one block from the Porta Romana long term parking (which is outside the ZTL), and even closer to the #11 bus stops to and from downtown and train station. Or you can just make the 15 minute walk to the Ponte Vecchio. The neighborhood has many shops nearby: Alimentari, Panetteria, Enoteca, Macelleria, even a hardware store. We asked for directions to a supermarket but never needed it. Stefano met us at exactly the requested time and was most helpful with local information. He supplied two keys, which made it convenient for we two guests to explore Firenze separately. The apartment has working air conditioning which was much appreciated since we arrived on a hot afternoon. The washing machine also did its job, saving us a trip to the lavanderia. Street noise was not a problem, and the neighbors were quiet. The stairs might be a problem for the disabled, though my 70+ year old dad managed them ok."

  • Perfect location, perfect season

"We fully enjoyed autumn in Florence with nice weather, clear all over our 6-day stay, with much help by Alessandra in retrieving the lost baggage from the airport etc. The location is more than perfect for going around in the historic central Florence, which made our second stay in Florence very fruitful and up-to-plan. The apartment is fully equipped in the kitchen, living room and bedrooms, even with very convenient ready-to-use PC and printer. Many times of to-and-fro every day on the Borgo San Jacopo just in front of this location made us feel this town is truly our home, so we like to RETURN back shortly."
