  • Wonderful!!

"My friends and I stayed at this wonderful apartment while in Florence visiting the city. The views are amazing and the ringing of the bells is magical! We felt very much at home here, and enjoyed our stay immensely. If given the chance we would do it again. The steps are really no problem if you are a walker. The location in the city is perfect, close to everything yet private and so comfortable. A small super market is around the corner. We will always remember our stay here, very special and fond memories:)"

  • A privilege to stay here

"Accessibility (5/5): The apartment is within easy walking distance of the Uffizi and the train station. The stairs to get to the suite are wide and easy. View (5/5): The apartment overlooks the square outside the Medici chapel, and there’s a nice balcony running the length the apartment. It’s pleasant to stand on the balcony and watch everything. Spaciousness (5/5): This place is enormous! There are 3 bedrooms: 1) queen-sized bed, 2) queen-sized bed, 3) two single beds. The living room and dining room are large, and the kitchen is a nice size as are both bathrooms. Mattresses (5/5): The best mattresses belong to the single beds and the queen-sized bed with the curtains. Cleanliness (5/5): Everything is really, really clean. Hot water (5/5): The water pressure was decent and there was enough hot water. The price includes towels. The owner gave instructions on how to use the laundry machine. Communication (5/5): The owner of the apartment lives near the apartment. She was good about answering questions by email. Décor/Furniture (5/5): It’s tastefully decorated, and more inviting in person than in the photos. Bathrooms (5/5): There are 3 bathrooms, with showers and one of them even had a bathtub! They were beautiful, with newer pieces in a style compatible with the rest of the apartment. Overall, it was a privilege to stay here; thank you."

  • Tuscan Beauty!

"This home had the most amazing views! The house itself is a renovated family home and we loved being there. We may have been the first guests of the new season because the pool and jacuzzi were just being opened for the year. Claudio the host is charming, his wife operates a Florence tour company, and his son is a chef. Together this makes for an amazing vacation. The drive from the highway (autostrada) to the house was glorious. We stopped and took about 40 photos on the way. The train directly into Florence was 10 minutes from the house and right next to a large grocery store that was super fun to shop at. Philip, the son of the owner and a chef, spent an evening teaching us to make pasta from scratch, carbonara, and berry compote. The children loved every minute of it! He was an amazing teacher. The views from the home were stunning, the property was photo worthy, the olive oil they produce was amazing. Minutes away from the house (walking) is a tasting for Tuscan wine and olive oils! We would love to return to help with the olive harvest! We can not rave enough about the cooking class with Philip. If you are planning a romantic escape, this is the place. Make arrangements for a private dinner on the terrace with your own private chef. Surprise your special someone with a lazy swim or jacuzzi soak looking out over Florence (you can see the dome). If you are planning a family get away, this is the place. Take in the sights of Florence over 3 days and let the kids swim away the evenings. Practical notes: Parking was excellent. The kitchen had a freezer for ice packs! The home does not have a dryer, but our clothes smelled like the Tuscan sun and dried within hours. The only difficulty was with the wifi. We had all our reservations online and had to have Philip help us to access them before heading into the city. We would return!"

  • A Florentine gem

"We have had several long-term stays here and have thoroughly enjoyed the house and the neighborhood. The house is lovely - comfortable, well-maintained and well-equipped. On the warm days we particularly have enjoyed the roof-top terrace for lunch, aperitivi, and dinner. The area around Piazza Tasso feels like the real Florence -- lively during the day and very quiet in the evening, with many nearby caf'es and restaurants. We particularly enjoyed be able to easily walk everywhere--Piazza Santo Spirito is ten minutes away, and the Duomo is 25 minutes by foot, via many interesting routes -- so there is always something new to discover on the way! Excellent bus transportation for trips within Florence or to other Tuscan towns (e.g., Greve-in-Chianti, Siena) is a two minute walk from the house. This has become our home-away-from-home in Florence and we look forward to our return."
