Charming, immaculate apartment with everything you need
"Our family of four was impressed with the responsiveness of the hosts, the cleanliness of the rooms (deeply cleaned, not just on the surface), the spaciousness of each room, good WiFi and the wonderful location (coffee, bakery and grocery within a block). The beds were queen-sized and very comfortable. It was very, very hot in July so we were grateful for the air conditioners and the shutters that kept the rooms cool. Although on a busy street, we heard no street noises and slept very well. It is even nicer than the photos, with marble floors, antique wooden furniture, built-in refrigerator, clothes washer and automatic dishwasher, with detergent and other needs supplied. We were educated as to bus stops, were given a map and also several recommendations for very good neighborhood restaurants. Plus, it has only one flight of stairs to walk! We recommend this apartment and landlords whole-heartedly."

We very much enjoyed our stay in Quercia and the San Freidano neighborhood.
"This is our 3rd time renting through Italy Perfect, we are very happy return customers. Pat and Lisa have done a nice job selecting comfortable apartments in local neighborhoods and I like the fact that they are available by phone to supplement the information on the website. Also, we never have any upsetting surprises, the apartments always turn out to be exactly as described and shown on the website.
Quercia is a charming 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom ground floor apartment in the very local San Freidano neighborhood just across the Ponte Amerigo Vespucci. The unit is on a very quiet street and has very little traffic noise in the evening, a big plus in noisy Florence. There are many very good restaurants and the excellent Essalunga super market within a 10-20 minute walk. The apartment is near a good bus line to the old city and is a short taxi ride from the Santa Maria Novella train station. We have stayed in many different parts of Florence and would rate this neighborhood as our favorite so far, primarily because it is quiet at night while still being within easy walking distance of all the major sites and services.
The apartment itself had a great layout for the three of us, myself plus my wife and daughter. The bedrooms are small but not too small, and the beds are comfortable. Each bedroom has a separate and very quiet A/C unit, a big plus during the summer. The kitchen is also small but has all the equipment travelers require, and it faces a nice sitting room that has good light and another A/C unit. Each of the bathrooms is definitely on the small side and I would say even a bit cramped, but it is very nice to have two of them, especially en suite. The patio in back is an added bonus as is another outdoor area where the washing machine is located.
We were presented with a lovely gift basket by our excellent greeter Katerina, who gave us a very thorough tour of the home and appliances, as well as a vast amount of information about local food shopping and dining. She was kind enough to follow-up with us on some additional recommendations, all of which enhanced our stay. The house feels very safe and secure and because it is on the ground floor, luggage and supplies are easily carried into and out of the apartment.
We very much enjoyed our stay in Quercia and the San Freidano neighborhood. We definitely will be using Italy Perfect again for future visits to Rome, Florence and Venice."
