"The photo's are spot on, the apartment was very clean and if you need anything the owner is only a phone call or e-mail away and very quick to respond to needs or questions, terrific customer service. She met us upon arrival to introduce herself, show us around the apartment and ensure we were familiar with everything.
This was my wife's 50th birthday present and the city of Florence didn't let us down, it really is amazing and you can do day trips to Venice via the high speed train, Tuscany via coach (which included Pisa, Siena, San Gimignano as well as a relaxing lunch at a Chianti winery overlooking the vineyards) without the need to rent a car and many other places, it's so central and the high speed train keeps everything so close. The apartment is walking distance to the train station and in Florence you can walk to everything. We based ourselves at this lovely little apartment which had everything we needed for two weeks and did day trips. This way we didn't have to pack and carry luggage. A trip to Rome probably requires three days to see most of what you want. It's about 90 minutes via the train and there's tours for everything and very reasonably priced. Take the tours as they get you to the front of the lines for not much more money.
Florence is saturated with cafe's, restaurants, bars and bistro's. We sat outside and people watched at just about all our meals. The food is absolutely amazing and it's very common to have wine with all meals which suited us just fine:). It was all very reasonably priced. There really are restaurants everywhere and it seams like every other store is a leather store. Florence is the leather capital of the world and they have some beautiful stuff.
I would highly recommend this apartment, if you're used to living in 5 star hotels this may not be for you, however if you want reasonably priced accommodation that gives you everything you need in an authentic building where you can really live like the locals in a beautiful ancient city this will not disappoint.
My wife and I also had our adult son and daughter with us, the twin beds in the second bedroom were perfect for them and saved us looking for a three bedroom, although there is a sofa bed in the living room if needed."

"Located very near the Duomo toward the Uffuzi, there is not a better location. Easy walk from train station and near all food and fashion stores. Very clean and roomy. Excellent service. Large Bathroom down steps but not a problem."

"My family (4 adults and 2 children, 8 and 9) spent a lovely 5 days in this beautifully decorated and outfitted house on a Tuscan hilltop. The owner Francesco went out of his way to greet us, teach us how the house and its appliances worked, and give us information on nearby towns and the #37 bus to Florence. (15 min drive and 45 min bus trip.) You definitely need a car, which you can then drive to several nearby towns: San Casino, San Gimignano, Volterra, Colle, Tavernelle, Sienna. There were also several wineries nearby and our kids loved walking through the olive tree orchards, past vineyards and ran and rolled down a wide expanse of grassy hillside. Lisa and Pat of ItalyPerfect were terrific in arranging our visit; they were helpful to the last detail and always reachable...both before and during our visit."

"I spent a week in Florence with two friends and, not being being of the type (nor of the age) to enjoy night life, we really appreciated the calm we found in Massimo's apartment. The bedrooms were spacious, the beds not too soft, the kitchen-living room area nice and clear, thanks partly to its height. We found all the necessary equipment for cooking.
The apartment is very well situated - there are quite a few restaurants and a good market place (Mercato Sant'Ambrogio) near by, it only takes 10 minutes to walk to the Duomo or to San Marco...
Massimo was friendly and helpful.
We would certainly be happy to return to this apartment were we to go back to Florence !"
